It looks like Oliver Stone sealed the deal with Shia LaBeouf to star in “Wall Street 2,” previously titled “Money Never Sleeps.” LaBeouf was in talks with the director to star alongside Michael Douglas and Javier Bardem in the sequel to Stone’s 1987 hit, “Wall Street.” On Tuesday, the two sat down with “six men in suits” at La Bottega in the Maritime Hotel, a source reports. It must have been important because, our witness said, “they demanded the restaurant shut down” for the top-secret meeting.

What John Grisham wants, John Grisham gets.
The author was pulling for Shia LaBeouf to sign on to his latest novel-turned-movie, “The Associate,” and he got his wish. “I think he’ll be wonderful!” Grisham gushes. “He’s a very talented actor, and he’s hot. He’s the hottest 22-year-old actor in America, and I think he’ll do a wonderful job.”
Lucky LaBeouf will join the ranks of Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, Matthew McConaughey and Kiefer Sutherland, who’ve all appeared in flicks based on Grisham novels.

While it has been strongly denied that Harrison Ford will passing of his Indiana Jones title to Shia LaBeouf, there was something he passed off to him and that was…the hat according to IOL.
He said: “It has his sweat stains from the whole movie in it. We were way out somewhere at an airplane hangar on the last day of shooting, and he took the hat off his head, signed it and handed it to me.
“When I looked at the hat I saw he had written something with a silver Sharpie (pen). It said, ‘It’s all yours now, kid - Harrison.’”But LaBeouf is quick to point out that he won’t be taking over from Ford any time soon: “It’s easy to perceive that as his handing the reins over to me on a franchise or whatever… that’s not it.
“It was his way of saying ‘Life is going to get crazy now, so strap on tight, kid.’”
I am so glad that he wasn’t handing over the franchise to him because I don’t get why he is Speilberg’s go to boy. He just doesn’t do it for me, does he do it for you?
BTW I so want that hat! How awesome would that be to own?

Man, you’d think oversharing had mutated and gone airborne on the set of “Transformers 2″ because Shia LaBeouf has caught whatever Megan Fox has.
In the new issue of Playboy, Shia talks — among other things — about the time he lost his virginity. “I was shaking in my boots,” he says about the romp, four years ago.
“Getting naked was very strange. It was the first time I’d been naked in the light, in front of a girl, with no hiding place.”
Things took a turn for the worse when Shia, who was pretending to be a Lothario, made the age-old mistake of trying to copy a porn he’d seen.
“I remember putting a pillow underneath her because I had seen that in a porn movie…[It] put her at a weird angle, where I couldn’t get in correctly. I’m not extremely well-endowed … and clearly this wasn’t the move.
And while that night might have been a disaster, the lady in question ended up dating Shia for a while, where she became his sex-instructor of sorts. “We had a lot of sex and would read the Kama Sutra together and do the wildest s***.”
Megan, the oversharing ball’s in your court!

Shia LaBeouf won’t be up to high-fiving any time soon. Hand injuries that the “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” star sustained during a July 27 DUI citation and car accident are far more serious than the actor has acknowledged.
“For a while there, it didn’t look good,” a source close to LaBeouf reveals to us. “Shia’s tendons had fused together, and right after the accident there was talk of a partial amputation.”
But things are looking up for the action star, who broke two fingers in the crash. LaBeouf underwent a second surgery two weeks ago and appears to be on the mend. Luckily for the 23-year-old, his pain became art. Writer Roberto Orci revealed that LaBeouf’s injury was written into the plot line of the actor’s upcoming “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” which is why he postponed a follow-up correctional procedure.
“Shia had one surgery postponed for ‘Transformers 2,’ but there’s no additional complications now,” a rep for the actor confirms. “It’s taken a while, but the surgery has been completed and Shia should be healing fine.”
LaBeouf isn’t the only movie man to have hand-related drama. Ben Stiller was admitted to N.Y.’s Mount Sinai Hospital on Sunday with trauma to his paw. But contrary to LaBeouf’s more severe condition, the funnyman’s injuries were a little less traumatic.
Amidst much secrecy, “one of the hospital’s top hand specialists was called in to treat him,” a snitch on the scene reports. Of the mangled mit his rep had only this to say, “I can confirm that he broke his hand snowboarding.”
Stiller may have had to spend a scary “Night at the Museum,” but the comedy king got away with only an afternoon at the hospital.

Shia LaBeouf is healing well following a Hollywood car crash in July, in which the actor flipped his truck and emerged from the hospital with a cast on his left hand. But Shia told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush, there is more surgery in his future.
“I’m working right now,” Shia told Billy during an interview to promote his upcoming thriller “Eagle Eye.” “We propped [my hand] together so I could get through ‘Transformers’ and then I’ll go have another surgery and be back to 100 percent.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Shia was involved in a collision at the intersection of LaBrea and Fountain in Hollywood in late July. The crash, which authorities have since said was the fault of the other driver, who ran a red light, sent Shia by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. After he was arrested on suspicion of DUI, he underwent surgery to fix his injured hand.
In the new interview with Billy, set to air on Monday on Access Hollywood, Shia said the injury to his hand was worse than originally reported.
“They’re good,” he told Billy of his bandaged fingers. “They’re broken.”
Following the crash and surgery, Shia returned to the set of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” directed by Michael Bay. And the actor said very little of the production was interrupted due to his accident.
“He plows through,” Shia said of his director. “I think we had a day down, two days down, and then we got back to some second unit stuff that we had to get anyways, and I was back two or three weeks before anybody projected me coming back.”
Happily promoting his new movie “Eagle Eye,” which opens September 26, Shia told Billy he was thankful his accident injured only his hand.
“It could have been something else,” Billy said.
“It definitely could have been. I’m very grateful,” Shia responded.

Actor Shia LaBeouf was due to return to the set of the Transformers sequel on Thursday, less than three weeks after he shattered his left wrist in a car crash.
The 22-year-old, who was out and about in Los Angeles on Wednesday, underwent extensive hand surgery following the wreck and is still wearing a brace on his wrist.
His fingernails remain black due to bruising and bleeding under skin.

The Indiana Jones star was arrested on a suspicion of drink-driving when his Ford pick-up truck collided with another vehicle at a junction in West Hollywood around 3am on 27 July.
LaBeouf was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after injuring his left hand, head and knee.
The star was attempting a left turn at the crossroads of La Brea Avenue and Fountain Avenue when he collided with an oncoming vehicle and flipped his car.
The contents of LaBeouf’s car, including pizza boxes containing hot pizza, a brand new toilet seat in its box and a rucksack were thrown out of the car and strewn across the road.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Wolf said: ‘It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest.’
LaBeouf was booked for a misdemeanour charge of driving under the influence.
His female passenger and the driver of the other vehicle were not seriously injured in the smash.
However, police spokesman Steve Whitmore announced two days after the crash that LaBeouf ‘was not at fault’.
‘We have strong evidence that the other driver ran a red light,’ he added.

MOMENTS before he got in a crash Saturday night that ended with him being charged with DUI, “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf was “pounding shots and acting really crazy” at LA bar Troubadour, spies said. “He was pounding drinks and shots while listening to the band Lemon Sun before he took off,” said one. LaBeouf’s “Transformers” co-star, Isabel Lucas, was in the car at the time of the crash. LaBeouf apparently picked up his partying ways from his father. He tells this month’s Details he used to drink and smoke with his dad, a former heroin junkie who now lives in LaBeouf’s garage. “We would drink together and smoke together, and it’s just a bad deal. It’s not something that is conducive to being a role model . . . And I don’t know how to do it like a gentleman. I don’t know how to have one drink.” A rep for LaBeouf declined to comment.

Reality star Khloe Kardashian – who served 173 minutes in jail last week for a 2007 DUI charge – has some advice for actor Shia LaBeouf, who was arrested for DUI after getting into a car accident on Sunday.
“Just be smarter,” she told Usmagazine.com at the Annual Style L.A. Runway show benefitting the Facial Paralysis Foundation & Stop the Violence/Face the Music benefit, which she co-hosted with sisters Kim and Kourtney at the The Viceroy Hotel, Santa Monica, CA on Monday.
“Think about your actions and get a driver!” the 24-year-old counseled. “It’s so much cheaper in the long run!”
LaBeouf, 22, was arrested early Sunday morning following a night of boozing at West Hollywood’s Troubadour club. His 23-year-old Transformers co-star Isabel Lucas was a passenger in his truck when the accident occurred. LaBeouf required extensive hand surgery but police determined he was not at fault for the accident.
Khloe’s jail stint was short but dramatic.
“As soon as I got to Lynwood, there were three bomb threats, and so they put me in solitary confinement,” she told Ryan Seacrest on Monday. “They released me early because I was a threat to the prison.”
She pledged to “never” drink and drive again.
Expect to see the incident on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“We were filming already and we got the whole thing on tape,” Kim told Us.
Aside from jail, Khloe told Us that she’s having a “boring summer.
“I had a bunch of trips planned and we never went on any of them,” she said.

Shia LaBeouf was not to blame for an early-morning car wreck in Los Angeles, authorities said Tuesday, pinning fault on the other driver for apparently running a red light.
Also Tuesday, a person close to production of the “Transformers” sequel said LaBeouf’s passenger in the accident was Isabel Lucas, the 23-year-old Australian who plays a supporting role. The person asked not to be named because he was not authorized to release the information.
Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore says detectives have determined that the other driver, who has not been identified, ran the light and will also be cited. LaBeouf was booked for a misdemeanor DUI and underwent surgery for injuries to his left hand.
“He was not at fault,” Whitmore said of the “Transformers” actor.
LaBeouf’s pickup truck collided with another vehicle at 3 a.m. Sunday in West Hollywood. Lucas and the driver of the other vehicle were not seriously injured.
Lucas, who has not yet appeared in any American films but has several upcoming projects, has returned to production on “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” which is due out next June, the person said. Melissa Kates, a publicist for LaBeouf, said he plans to return to work within a month.
LaBeouf was trying to make a left turn at the West Hollywood intersection of LaBrea and Fountain avenues when his pickup collided with another vehicle, rolling the truck over.
“It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest,” Sgt. Scott Wolf said on Sunday.
Two attorneys listed for LaBeouf have not returned calls from The Associated Press.

Shia LaBeouf was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving Sunday after an early morning wreck in which the “Indiana Jones” star injured his hand and knee, authorities said.
LaBeouf was trying to make a left turn at a West Hollywood intersection around 3 a.m. when his pickup collided with another vehicle, rolling the truck over, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Wolf said.
“It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest,” Wolf said.
Wolf said LaBeouf was booked then released for misdemeanor DUI. The 22-year-old actor was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was being treated for injuries to his left hand and a knee, as well as a minor head injury, Wolf said.
A woman passenger in LaBeouf’s truck and the driver of the other vehicle were not seriously injured. Wolf did not know the identities of the woman or the other driver.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation, Wolf said. Two attorneys listed for LaBeouf did not immediately return calls from The Associated Press on Sunday; neither did two publicists for the actor.
The accident occurred when LaBeouf, who was headed northbound on La Brea Avenue, tried to turn onto Fountain Avenue, Wolf said. The intersection is the location of “High Voltage,” the tattoo parlor where the TLC reality show “LA Ink” is filmed.
LaBeouf starred in last year’s summer smash hit “Transformers,” and this year appears opposite Harrison Ford in “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”
LaBeouf has had previous brushes with the law, but until now they’d been relatively harmless - to the degree that they only served to reinforce his image as a Hollywood good guy with an edge.
A drunken confrontation with guards at a Walgreens in Chicago late last year led to misdemeanor criminal trespassing charges. Arresting police in that incident noted that LaBeouf was “very courteous and polite,” and the charge was dropped because the drug store didn’t want to pursue the matter.
In a lighthearted retelling of the incident to David Letterman on the “Late Show,” LaBeouf said: “Drinking and driving is one thing, but drinking and shopping … it’s just as bad.”
LaBeouf was separately cited in February for smoking where he shouldn’t in Burbank, but a judge later dismissed the charge.

LaBeouf’s mother said, “It’s just so hard for me to let my little man go and become an adult. It’s hard enough that I have to share him with the rest of the world.” Before heading off to the security check point, Mrs. LaBeouf asked if her son could hand over any cigarettes may be tempted to smoke while waiting for his flight, adding “We don’t need any more bench warrants just because you have another Even Stevens induced nic fit.”

Think parents hang out with their kids on set because they love them and care for them? Nothing to do with money? Uh huh. Shia LaBeouf gave an interview where he stated that when he filmed that Disney show Even Stevens when he was 13, he needed a parent on the set. The only person he could turn to was his just out of rehab dad. He had barely spoken to his dad for his entire life, and now here he was forking over $800 a week to a guy who was only doing it for the money and not because of any paternal affection.”For him it wasn’t about being with a son that he loved. He was rent-a-dad.”
Shia did go on to say that living with his dad in a motel for three years did bring them close together and actually gave him the father he had lost forever. Now go ahead and wipe away the tears because honestly, most parents are out there to make money off their kids, and to live vicariously through them. From the stage moms on the set of a commercial to Billy Ray Cyrus to Pimpa Joe and Michael Lohan, parents love living off their kids. It’s great. They don’t do any work, and generally make more money then any other job they have had before. They get free stuff including drugs, and get invited to parties and get attention and basically live a life they never thought possible when they were the kid getting beat up in high school or selling shoes in Sears. Then one day they have a kid and they get to exploit the hell out of that kid, push that kid and that kid becomes their only source of income. You don’t think the kid has some kind of pressure? What about if your whole family relies on your income? Hello Lindsay Lohan.
Parents can all spare me the crap about how they are only looking out for the best interests of their child. No, they aren’t. The only thing they are doing is making sure the gravy train doesn’t stop, and if the kid has to work 20 hours a day to make it happen, the kid is going to do it. The only time I will ever believe the best interests story is when at least one of the parents still has a real job despite the fact their kid is making millions. Otherwise, they are all greedy. I blame the parents, but I also blame human nature. If someone came to you and said you didn’t have to do any work at all, and you would get lots of free gifts and travel and people would know your name and you would earn enough to feed your entire family for the next five years, you wouldn’t want that to go away. If it means you rationalize how hard your kid is working and maybe not saying anything when they have a drink or two or use a little white powder, then you figure it is the price you have to pay for living the good life. Unfortunately, it is not you who is paying the price. How many teenagers do you know who can handle the combination of fame, money, power, enabling, and supporting a family of 5? I don’t really know any either. That is why they end up paying the price and parents are there at the funeral saying how tragic it was, and then dividing up the estate.
