Is it just me or does Sarah Michelle Gellar Prinze look different and not in a good way? I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I think it is the weird way they shaped her bangs or maybe she just went way too light with the blonde highlights on her fake blonde hair. What do you think it is?

Sarah Michelle Gellar is eyeing a return to television with a half-hour project set up at HBO from screenwriter Charles Randolph.

Set in Gotham, “The Wonderful Maladys” ensembler revolves around the dysfunctional lives of three adult siblings who lost their parents at a young age.

Randolph described Gellar’s character as having “a kind of zealous immaturity — like a drug addict with a to-do list.”

Randolph wrote the script on spec last year with Gellar and HBO in mind. HBO recently bought the script and is aiming to shoot the single-camera pilot early next year. Gellar and Randolph will serve as exec producers should the project go forward, along with Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

“We’re on a fast track,” said Brillstein CEO Jon Liebman.

Gellar has focused on features since “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” ended its seven-year run in 2003. She called the chance to do a series with Randolph, Brillstein and HBO “a terrific next chapter for me.”

Randolph’s feature credits include 2003’s “The Life of David Gale” and 2005’s “The Interpreter.” At present he’s writing “Gucci,” for helmer Ridley Scott and Fox 2000.

Gellar and Randolph are repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

I almost made the headline something like Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn’t have anything interesting to talk about. However, I don’t think it would fit. In the latest issue of Maxim, Sarah Michelle Gellar is forced to relate stories from events that happened several years ago just to find anything remotely interesting in her life.

She basically relates a time during filming of Southland Tales where she was supposed to be a porn star and doing a sex scene, but had just eaten some turkey and was too sleepy to do a good job. “For a porn star, I didn’t get much action. I filmed a love scene on Thanksgiving, and I had eaten all this turkey and mashed potatoes and was like, ‘I seriously have to film a sex scene right now?’ “I was so tired from all the tryptophan that I just wanted to sleep.”If you read that sentence and don’t think that Freddie Prinze Jr. has not heard every single excuse imaginable, then you just have never been in a relationship. SMG was getting paid to do a sex scene. Paid, and she still felt sleepy and disinterested. How long has she been married? Freddie probably is lucky to get sex once a month. His porn collection must fill shelf after shelf in their house. SMG is probably encouraging him every night to take care of business on his own.

How much turkey did she eat? Yes, people get sleepy after turkey, but it is generally because they ate lots and lots. Much more than any 100 pound actress can eat. If it really made you that sleepy, do you think it would be such a popular cold cut, or that Subway would sell it? Or Arby’s? People would be falling asleep in the car on the way back from lunch.

If you think I am wrong about her making excuse after excuse, you let me know. But you know I am right and that poor Freddie knows his hand really well. No wonder they don’t have kids. If it doesn’t happen on his birthday, lets face it, it is not going to happen.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is baring it all for charity.

Central Florida On Demand’s John Handiboe chatted one-on-one with the Emmy Award winner about taking it off for a good cause

John: “Sarah, you are taking it all off for a good cause and it’s all to promote protecting your skin, which is big deal in here in the Sunshine State.”

Sarah: “Absolutely. I think it is in the forefront there, but where I am, in New York, I think people forget because people think that if it is raining and snowing that you don’t have to protect your skin. I mean, my goodness, it is our biggest organ — it is our outlet to the world.”

John: “Was that difficult for you to pose naked? Have you done that before?”

Sarah: “No, it was the first time I had done that and it was funny, it was surprisingly easy. I think when you know the cause and you know what it’s for, and how much good it’s going to do, it sort of outweighs whatever awkward feelings you might be having.”

John: “You are joining with a couple of other celebrities on this charity project. The pictures are going to be in Vogue and Glamour, but people can bid on them as well.”

Sarah: “Yes, you can bid on them and all of the proceeds go to charity. It goes to the Coalition of Skin Diseases, which promote awareness. It educates. It promotes the funding for research and you can bid online at www.ebay.com/vaseline.“

John: “When you are not working on the charities, you work on some movies here and there. You have four upcoming projects.”

Sarah: “It has been a busy time. The next one I have coming out (”Possession”) is with Lee Pace, who stars in ‘Pushing Daisies,’ and I think he is so talented and it’s such an incredible show. We are very excited about it.”

John: “Now, also, you have a film with Andy Garcia – “The Air I Breathe,” and I believe there were some intense moments on set with Andy.”

Sarah: “No, he is one of most incredible actors if you can have the chance to work with. Let me tell you, if you have Andy in front of you, waving a gun, that’s a scary experience. It is so funny, let me tell you, I only know him as family man, a dad, and you see him walk on set and he just completely transforms into this other character.”

I initially was a little stuck on the fact that my fave, Sarah Michelle Gellar, used an compact of eye shadow for each eye before attending the Vaseline Skin is Amazing event, and then I got slightly distracted by the cleavage.

Girl, cover up, for pete’s sake!

Aside from all that, SMJ can still do no wrong, and the total look is still beautiful, in my opinion.

Sarah Michelle Geller is the new face for Vaseline. Geller is promoting this petrolium jelly in the nude. Vaseline.com has a guessing game for the “mystery celebrity” and describes Geller with the clues “She starred opposite an Angel” and “This celebrity lives a full life that puts her skin to the test. Her career began when she was just five years old and over the years she’s become a superstar of the small and big screen”. If you’re still not convinced it’s Geller, they give you a new hint every week.
