“Madonna personally came to look at one house a couple of months ago, and Alex has been looking recently,” the insider said. “We’re talking about private, double-width mansions in the vicinity of $30 million to $60 million.”

Madge and A-Rod are also interested in scoring a house “with a garage that you can drive into for additional privacy - although those are rare and hard to come by,” our spy added. Another source said they were also looking in the Hamptons.

Madonna’s flack didn’t return a call or e-mail, but A-Rod’s reps denied the two were looking for real estate.

Rodriguez, meanwhile, continues to try to unload the old marital home he shared with ex-wife Cynthia - even dropping the price on the four-bedroom, 4,600-square-foot pad at Trump Park Avenue to $10 million, down from the original $14 million, according to the Post’s Braden Keil.

A-Rod is also willing to rent it unfurnished for $50,000 a month. Madonna, meanwhile, is hanging on to her Central Park West apartment.

Last week, after Page Six revealed he planned on dumping his kids on Thanksgiving to spend the day with Madonna and her kids in New York, a shame-faced A-Rod and Madge flew together on a private jet to Miami, where she performed.

While A-Rod did see his children on the holiday, the lovebirds later flew to Mexico City together for the weekend.

You know I dislike talking about any and all things Madonna when it comes to her love life. Just doesn’t interest me. I know it probably interests lots of you, but if you want to obsess over her love life, then obviously you are going to find better sites than here. However, just because I don’t want to talk dirt about her love life doesn’t mean I don’t want to talk about other things relating to her.

Like how this past week when she played in Miami, she and her brother hung out together all night. Now, let me ask you this. If your brother just got done writing a best selling book based on trashing you, don’t you think that perhaps you might want to have some quality time apart. Of course if you believe my theory about how Madonna and her brother worked on the book together and released it in time for the beginning of her tour then the hanging out together makes a lot more sense.

Something about that book and the timing and everything has never sat right with me. Madonna’s brother always said he had juicier stuff but the publisher’s attorneys said no because they didn’t want to get sued. Umm, if it’s true, then you have nothing to worry about. The reason they didn’t publish it is because Madonna was only willing to go so far in the trashing of herself.

Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez pulled double-duty in Miami Thursday, visiting his soon-to-be ex-wife and kids for Thanksgiving dinner and then rushing to be with gal pal Madonna at her house nearby.

Rodriguez began his day with brunch with Madge’s manager, Guy Oseary, before moving on to wife Cynthia’s house, where he spent some quality daddy time with daughters, Natasha, 4, and 7-month-old Ella.

The third baseman hopped into his black Porsche around 4p.m. and sped off to Star Island - where Madonna has a home.

Sources say he is staying there while he’s in town, and witnesses saw his car parked there overnight.

On Wednesday night, Rodriguez was front and center at Madonna’s concert at Dolphin Stadium, the Daily News reported Thursday.

Later, the kabbalah cronies celebrated at the estate of Jeff Soffer, the bachelor billionaire who reportedly has come between Gwyneth Paltrow and rocker hubby Chris Martin.

Feeding speculation that Paltrow and Martin are ready to split, Paltrow has been staying at Soffer’s Indian Creek Island mansion and spent Thanksgiving with him, sources said.

Martin’s band, Coldplay, wrapped its U.S. tour Wednesday night and friends expected Paltrow, who’d been at their London home with their children earlier this week, would remain there to welcome Martin back after weeks on the road.

Instead, sources said, she returned to Miami, where she and Soffer sparked gossip two weeks ago when she showed up at at the opening of his Fontainebleau Hotel.

“Gwyneth has confided to friends she and Chris are taking a break,” a source claimed. “Jeff is crazy about her.”

Reps for Paltrow, Martin, and Soffer did not respond to e-mails Thursday.

On Monday, her spokesman, Stephen Huvane, called revived rumors of marriage trouble “rubbish … stemming from the fact that she will not make any public appearances with her husband.”

“We’re just friends,” Soffer told The News earlier this week. “Ms. Paltrow has a very sound marriage to Chris Martin.”

The Yankee slugger, who ditched his wife of six years, Cynthia, after becoming besotted with Madonna, is a “soul-less” man who is “abandoning” his kids on Thanksgiving for his lover, according to what Cynthia is telling friends.
“Access Hollywood” reports that Cynthia, who’s in the final stages of her divorce from A-Rod, wrote an e-mail to a confidant noting: “My 6-foot-3, 220-pound soul-less, soon-to-be ex-husband is abandoning his kids on Thanksgiving to be with Madonna . . . She called and he ran on her command back to New York City . . . Gross!”
To add insult to injury, after Rodriguez left Miami at Madonna’s beck and call, his lawyer called Cynthia and wanted her to sign the couple’s divorce settlement.

I really thought Steinbrenner was the only ’soulless’ Yankee? Why is he doing this? Not ditching the kids, but hanging out with an old woman? I don’t get it. At least leave your hot wife for a 21 year old cheerleader. Have some dignity.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie were granted a preliminary decree of divorce Friday.

Neither appeared at the brief court session in which “Ciccone M L v Ritchie G S” was one of 17 cases given a preliminary decree. After six weeks and a day, the divorce can become final.

The decree said the divorce was granted on the basis of Ritchie’s “unreasonable behavior,” but did not elaborate.

The American pop star married the British film director eight years ago.

British news media reported, without identifying the sources of their information, that the celebrity couple had reached a settlement that would see the pop superstar keep the majority of her estimated 300 million pound ($445 million) fortune.

Reports in the Evening Standard and the Times of London said the couple had also reached a deal regarding their two children: Rocco, 8, and David Banda, 3, who was adopted from Malawi in 2006.

The newspapers said the two boys will split their time between Britain and the United States, while Lourdes - Madonna’s 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship with personal trainer Carlos Leon - will live with her mother in America.

Requests for comment from representatives for the couple were not returned.

An agreement on terms would avert an expensive courtroom battle like the one between former Beatle Paul McCartney and model Heather Mills. Mills has said the media coverage of the rancorous divorce had pushed her to the brink of suicide; McCartney compared the process to going through hell.

Madonna and Ritchie, director of “Snatch” and “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,” married in December 2000 at Skibo Castle in the Scottish Highlands.

Madonna and Ritchie announced last month they were divorcing. They own homes in London, Los Angeles and New York, and a 1,200-acre (480 hectare) retreat in England.

It was like a scene out of a James Bond movie last week, as Madonna and Alex Rodriguez secretly jetted off in two private helicopters for a quick and cozy rendezvous in the Hamptons, Page Six has learned.

Instead of booking a motel room, the two headed straight to Jerry Seinfeld’s waterfront mansion, where they relaxed in luxury for several hours.

“The Seinfelds have been friends with Madonna for years. They’re neighbors on the West Side, so it’s really no surprise,” said an insider. “And Jerry and [wife] Jessica go to her concerts whenever she’s in town.”

Our spies say the clandestine East End meeting between soon-to-be-divorced Madge and freshly single A-Rod occurred on Oct. 21. A chopper carrying the Yankee slugger was seen landing in East Hampton, where he was picked up in a white Porsche 911 matching the description of Jessica’s car.

Less than 40 minutes later, another helicopter that took off from Chelsea Piers with Madonna aboard landed at the same airstrip.

“A dark SUV and Jerry in another Porsche both pulled up and picked up Madonna and they headed back to Jerry’s place,” a witness told us. “When they arrived at the Seinfeld home, Madonna poked her head out the window and could be clearly seen.”

It’s not known what the Bronx Bomber, 33, and the Material Mom, 50 - who insist they are just friends - did during their stay at Seinfeld’s 12-acre spread.

“About four hours later, the dark SUV left the house and took them all back to the airport. Madonna and the Seinfelds could clearly be seen getting out and piling into the copter that had taken Madonna there in the first place. They left together,” our witness said. “Several minutes later, the helicopter that carried A-Rod also left.”

Reps for Jerry Seinfeld and A-Rod had no comment. Madonna’s flack said she was unaware of the meeting.

Gwyneth Paltrow is helping Madonna get through her divorce from Guy Ritchie.

“You know, she’s a dear friend, and I’m supporting her in all [the] ways that I can,” Paltrow, 36, said at the Two Lovers Premiere in London Monday.

“I’m just here for her,” Paltrow added. “I’m just here on the other end of the phone, really.”

Paltrow says she’s been in constant contact with her pal.

“I speak to her a lot,” she said.

Madonna, 50, and Ritchie, 40, announced their split after seven years of marriage on Oct. 15.

The Material Girl has been traveling the world on her Sticky & Sweet tour, while Ritchie has been working on his flick, Sherlock Holmes near London.

Over the weekend, British papers reported the couple had struck a deal over their finances (they’re worth a reported $525 million) and how to split their four properties. They do not have a prenuptial agreement.

The Mail also claims they’ve agreed to a custody agreement of their children, Rocco, 8, and David Banda, 3, who was adopted in Malawi in 2006. Madonna also has a daughter, Lourdes, 12, from a previous relationship with fitness instructor Carlos Leon.

But Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s rep, tells the Associated Press: “I will not be commenting on the various reports regarding the divorce or of the settlement which has not been finalized.”

It has been just a few days since the Madonna and Guy Ritchie announcement and honestly, I am already tired of hearing about it. I don’t care if they fight or if they are nice to each other. I don’t care how much money he gets because it is more than I can even wrap my mind around. I don’t care if they settled already or not. I do care about the kids and what they are going through, and do feel for David’s father who has to watch all of this play out in front of him. I also know that I do not want to spend the next however many years of my life looking at one story after the other about who Madonna is dating. I especially don’t want to read about whether Alex Rodriguez is with her or moving next to her or anything else. I understand he is a big deal in New York and that Madonna may have had something to do with the collapse of his marriage. Well, that and the strippers he took home every night.

Think about how tiring it is to read about Jennifer Aniston and who she is dating or not dating. Now, understand that is nothing compared to the endless Madonna stories we will be subject to each day. It has only been a week and already Madonna represents about 20% of all the gossip written. 20%? On one person. Of all the thousands of stories being written today, Madonna is in 20% of them. After today, unless it is something truly mind blowing, I am not going to be one of them.
