You may or may not have seen the story yesterday about how Kirsten Dunst got a restraining order against an alleged stalker. I can’t imagine why he would be stalking her, but apparently he has been found at her house several times over the past few months. Maybe he just wants his $2? Plus tip.

When I was reading the story, I just thought to myself that the guy could have done better with his stalking target. Hell, he probably didn’t even need to stalk her. Just join a band and she will find you. But, what really shocked me was the fact that Kirsten has an assistant. What the hell does she need an assistant for? She does maybe one movie a year, and she doesn’t seem to be in any kind of demand except for bachelor parties. Being her assistant must be the easiest assistant job in all of LA. Hell, the phone probably never rings except when Kirsten calls to make sure the phone really does work.

I think Kirsten just feels she makes enough money where she is expected to have an assistant. Probably she feels it is also better to have someone go out and buy her cigarettes and booze so that way she can pretend she is far too busy to do those kinds of “everyday people” things.

Kirsten Dunst doesn’t need Spider-Man - she’s got an assistant who recently proved capable of protecting the actress.

Dunst’s assistant performed a citizen’s arrest on a man who bypassed security and showed up at the actress’ Hollywood home in November. Dunst was not home at the time.

Police and Dunst sought a restraining order against Christopher Smith after his Nov. 20 arrest. Documents show state police have found Smith at Dunst’s home several times in recent weeks.

The actress wrote she is “quite frightened” of Smith, whom she has never met.

Records do not indicate whether Smith has an attorney. He is due in court later this month on a trespassing charge. Dunst’s restraining order could be made extended on Dec. 22.

Last year Kirsten Dunst decided to pretend she was a movie star and to tell the world that she was not going to do anymore Spider-Man films unless Tobey Maguire was back as well as the director Sam Raimi.Please. She is the one who is probably calling them constantly and reminding them that she does in fact exist and that she would be willing to work for practically nothing because compared to the salaries of everyone else on the film, it is nothing. Does she really think for an instant that the producers could not find someone else to play Mary Jane Watson. They could make Mary Jane one of those Pixar things and people wouldn’t care. In fact, the Pixar thing would probably do a better job acting. The only downside to the Pixar thing is it would probably cost more money than what Kirsten makes so they might as well use her.

So, yesterday, when MTV interviewed her and asked if she had decided whether she would do Spider-Man 4 she said, “I’m in. I’m not saying anything, I know there’s rumors.”

Umm, you just did say something. You said you are in. So how can you say something and then not say anything? What rumors? That maybe no one really wanted you back, or the rumors you started yourself last year? I’m confused. Not uncommon but when Kirsten Dunst starts rattling off, my mind just can’t handle it. They just need to kill her off so they don’t have to deal with it in Part 5.

Kirsten Dunst says rumors she is romancing Justin Long “are the funniest thing on planet Earth.”

“I don’t know him from Adam,” she says in the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar, per USA Today.

The two have been photographed repeatedly over the summer. On August 29, Us Weekly reports, he invited her to his $2 million L.A. home. After a sleepover, they hit the Joe Purdy show at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, Calif., and lunched a day later at the Chateau Marmont, where Long, 30, got them a room.

Still, Dunst, 26, insists, “I met him once and he and his friend were kind enough to walk me home. I’ve never seen him since.”

She adds that she is still looking for The One.

“I can’t wait to have kids one day,” she says. “I want to have kids and a farm with lots of animals on a lake.”

The actress also says she is doing “great” after seeking treatment for depression at Utah’s Cirque Lodge earlier this year.

Though she wouldn’t get into too much detail (it’ll be “blogged about for the rest of my life,” she insists), she offers insight into how she ended up there.

“When you spend your entire life as a child actress, being told where to go and where to stand, you’re performing constantly for people,” she says. “It definitely breeds the kind of person who’s dependent on other people’s approval.

“If I’d trusted myself and listened to myself all the times that I ignored myself, I would have been fine,” Dunst says. “But everyone has to learn their lesson, and now I’ve got it.”

Do you remember last week when I posted the photo of Kirsten Dunst looking like her ratty old self and how I made a comment that when she looks like that, rehab is just around the corner. Well, it won’t be long now.

According to the NY Daily News, Justin and Kirsten were making out with each other while waiting in line for margaritas. The Daily News was more concerned with the fact that they were all over each other.

Meh, who cares? Should we care that Justin Long is rebounding with someone who looks a great deal like his ex? Call me when Justin starts making Kirsten do Charlie’s Angels poses in the bedroom, then there will be something to talk about. I guess we could talk about the fact that when you are in a line, in public, on the street, that as much as you want to swap spit and grope each other, perhaps you should actually get out of the line to do it. Either that or offer complimentary gropes to those in line next to you. What was once uncomfortable, then turns into which celebrity would you like to grope.

I guess we could also talk about how Justin has now had two consecutive relationships with blond haired women who have drinking problems, and while he was with them, they really drink. Kirsten had been good until Justin and now she is drinking like crazy. Drew went really overboard with her drinking with Justin. What is he doing to them to make them want to get drunk so bad? Is it his whining? The fact he has a small peen? Do they like PC more than Mac and so feel guilty?

So after Justin gets done using Kirsten, she will be off the wagon, sloppy and lonely. Hello rockstars and rehab you are going to get some Kirsten Dunst loving.

Ahhh, Kirsten Dunst. I have a love hate relationship with you, and this one really tests the limits. I really wanted to talk about this yesterday, but just didn’t have the chance. According to an interview Kirsten gave to E!, she sought treatment at Cirque because she was depressed. This of course comes just a few days after reports drifted out of the atmosphere that Eva Mendes was at Cirque to research a role. No one would ever go there for substance abuse except for Lindsay Lohan.To make matters worse, Kirsten said that anyone who makes fun of depression or talks about her depression is a really bad person. So, basically she gives an interview to talk about her depression, but no one else can ever talk about the fact she is depressed or we are really bad people. I think she lost me at what the hell is she depressed about anyway? The fact that for some roll of the dice somewhere she has made somewhere close to $40M from acting?

Perhaps she is depressed because she can’t decide if she should vacation in Hawaii again or perhaps try Europe. The thing is, that when she says crap like this, it makes light of people who really are depressed.

Kirsten says that reports of her being at Cirque for drug or alcohol abuse are wrong. “I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse. I went there for depression. It was a good six months before I decided to go away.

“I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it.”

So, of course Kirsten will be suing all the tabloids right? They all reported she was there for either drugs or alcohol or both and so she must be going to sue. Right? Ummm. No. How come? Please.

Kirsten Dunst is hard at work shooting her next movie, All Good Things, on New York’s Upper West Side.

But she’s decided to focus on something else today—opening up to dispel rumors and tabloid reports that she sought help earlier this year at Cirque Lodge treatment center in Utah due to alcoholism and substance abuse.

“I didn’t go to Cirque Lodge for alcohol abuse or drug abuse,” Dunst tells me exclusively during a lunch break on All Good Things. “I went there for depression.”

The 26-year-old Hollywood veteran makes a point of explaining that while she consulted doctors along with family and friends about treatment, it was ultimately her decision to make.

“It was a good six months before I decided to go away,” Dunst says. “I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too. But I didn’t know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge.”

Dunst says she’s decided to go public with her depression and treatment because she’s not the only one who finds herself facing the ongoing—and often nasty—speculation in the press and elsewhere.

Most recently, erroneous reports alleged she was fired as the face of Miu Miu because of her personal problems, when in fact Dunst’s six-month work with the fashion house was never intended to go any further than it did.

“There’s been a lot of misrepresentation about what is going on in my life, and it’s been very painful for my friends and family,” she says. “Everyone feels like they have to defend me. They hear the rumors, and it puts them in a defensive position. Now that I’m feeling stronger, I was prepared to say something.”

While naysayers out there may groan that a young, wealthy Hollywood starlet should have nothing to be depressed about, Dunst says mental illness doesn’t know any such boundaries. “We’re all in the same boat together,” she opines. “Depression is pretty serious and should not be gossiped about.”

Hopefully, the very personal revelation will encourage people to stop speculating and move on—while allowing Dunst to focus on making her next movie. And speaking of that project, Dunst also scoffs at claims that there’s an on-set romance brewing between her and her hunky All Good Things costar. “I am not,” she says with a laugh, “dating Ryan Gosling!”

The last thing this world needs is Kirsten Dunst on another out of control drinking rampage, but it appears that only a few months after leaving rehab, she probably should go back for a little refresher. According to Star, Kirsten has been partying almost every night, with each night being more crazy than the one before. What usually starts out as Kirsten trying to behave, inevitably ends up with her throwing herself at any guy who smiles at her. I would think that after the 15th guy realizes that Kirsten will kiss and grope anything that perhaps the rest of the guys would not want to be a part of it.The “insider” stated that, “she was just completely out of it. It was obvious that whatever happened in rehab didn’t stick.”

Well, with Kirsten you can’t ever really be sure if she is being normal or not because she is always pretty much out of it. I think even if she was sober she would pretty much be out of it. Not to cross swords with Star, but from what I’ve heard she has actually been pretty good since getting out of rehab. Perfect? Hell no. This is Kirsten we’re talking about, but she has been pretty good, and fairly boring. Whatever partying she has been doing has been with friends and at home away from prying eyes and cameras. I can’t even remember when the pap last spotted her which means she has learned her lesson and also goes to show everyone that even someone who was in pap photos almost every day can disappear from them should they choose. Unless you have a pap parked in front of your house, it is your decision whether or not you are going to get snapped. Remember that when you see a celebrity complaining about the cameras.

Insiders are concerned the duo, who have been spotted dining together, are becoming more than co-stars. “Ryan is a sucker for people he acts with,” said one source. “He starred with Rachel McAdams in ‘The Notebook’ and ended up in a relationship with her.” Dunst’s dating doesn’t seem to be helping her recovery. A witness saw her at Bread one recent afternoon and said, “She looked like crap, had greasy hair and kept wiping her nose with a Kleenex.” A rep for Dunst said, “I do not know this to be true, and as a policy we won’t be commenting on Kirsten’s personal life in any way.”
