Janet Jackson arrived at her brother Michael Jackson’s Holmby Hills estate Saturday, where moving vans arrived earlier in the day.

Janet Jackson, wearing dark glasses, drove up in a Bentley and went directly to the estate. About eight movers had taken dollies and packing equipment through the gates. It wasn’t immediately known what was being taken out.

Most of Michael Jackson’s family members had gathered in their Encino compound, where they are contemplating funeral arrangements and caring for his three children. They are feeling confused, upset and angry by the lack of information about those who were around the pop superstar in his final days, a person close to the family told The Associated Press.

Jackson’s family wants to know more specifics about what role AEG, the concert promoter that was staging his 50-date concert series at London’s 02 Arena, was playing in his life, said the person, who requested anonymity because of the delicate nature of the situation. They also want to know more about the role of his advisers and representatives, who they believe were put in place by the promoter.

AEG spokeswoman Natalie Whorms in London had no comment Saturday.

Jackson never communicated to his family who he had in place to handle his business affairs, the person said, adding that they were told by the singer’s phalanx of advisers that he likely had a will, but it may be many years old. The family is distrustful of what they are being told - but they are determined to find out more, the person said.

“There are decisions going down without the family being in the loop; it’s becoming an issue,” the person said.

Randy Phillips, AEG Live president and chief executive, said earlier Friday that it was Jackson who insisted that Dr. Conrad Murray, a financially troubled cardiologist who was with the entertainer when he collapsed Thursday, be put on the tour payroll.

“As a company, we would have preferred not having a physician on staff full-time because it would have been cheaper without the hotels and travel, but Michael was insistent that he be hired,” Phillips said. “Michael said he had a rapport with him.”

Jackson collapsed Thursday at his rented home in Los Angeles. Police seized Murray’s car in search of evidence, but have insisted that the doctor has been cooperative and do not consider him a criminal suspect.

Records reveal years of financial troubles for Murray, who practices medicine in California, Nevada and Texas; his Nevada medical practice, Global Cardiovascular Associates, was slapped with more than $400,000 in court judgments, and he faces at least two other pending cases and several tax liens.

The person close to the family said that while there were reports that the singer was distant from his family, Jackson spoke with his mother, Katherine, quite regularly and his father, Joe, had seen his son shortly before his death. His other eight siblings, including fellow superstar Janet, may not have talked to him recently but were not estranged.

Much of the family was holed up Friday inside the Jackson family’s Encino compound, including his three children, according to the person, who described them as doing “pretty good.”

“I don’t think it’s fully set in yet,” the person said.

In a statement, Lionel Richie said Jackson was “a world phenomenon. He was very misunderstood, but yet tried to desperately to be a part of this world. We all watched him as he struggled with that balance.”

Bette Midler described Jackson as “a showman without equal.”

“I personally intend to only remember the best of him, his kindness, his charm, his superb musicianship, his magical dancing and his beautiful voice,” she said in a statement.

The pop star left behind three children: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., known as Prince Michael, 12; Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11; and Prince Michael II, 7. The elder children were born to ex-wife Deborah Rowe, while the youngest is his biological son, born to a surrogate mother.

Rowe and Jackson married in 1996 and divorced in 1999.

No family members were present in the mansion when Jackson died Thursday, the person close to the family said. In the 911 call released by fire officials Friday, an unidentified caller tells a dispatcher that Jackson’s doctor is performing CPR.

Asked by the dispatcher whether anyone saw what happened, the caller answers: “No, just the doctor, sir. The doctor has been the only one there.”

Coroner’s officials said they released Jackson’s body to his family late Friday night. The family is still trying to determine what kind of memorial to have for Jackson and when, and are debating between the idea of having a private ceremony or a grand celebration open to the public, the person close to the family said.

Jackson appeared to have suffered a heart attack, another person with knowledge of the situation who was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity told the AP on Friday. A heart attack is a blocking of the arteries that deprives the heart of adequate blood and can cause cardiac arrest.

Jackson’s brother Jermaine said Thursday that it was believed the pop singer went into cardiac arrest, an interruption of the normal heartbeat that can be caused by factors other than heart attack.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office, which completed its autopsy Friday, said there were no signs of foul play or trauma, but determining the cause of death will require further tests that will take six to eight weeks.

Phillips said AEG Live held multiple insurance policies covering cancellation of the shows, and that some time in February Jackson submitted to several hours of physicals that the insurance underwriter insisted upon, and that Jackson passed them all.

“We had pretty good coverage, but a lot of it is going to depend on the toxicology results,” he said. “We need to know what the cause of death was.”

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon and paramedics were unable to revive him. We’re told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.

Jackson had 13 number one hits during his solo career.

The King of Pop is back - in town, that is.

Michael Jackson has signed a yearlong lease on a mansion in the swanky Bel Air area of the city, a spokesman for the singer said Wednesday.

Jackson has been staying in the estate for about a month, said spokesman Tohme Tohme, who called the property “a little bit more than an average home.”

The lease agreement is for $100,000 a month. The home has seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and 12 fireplaces.

Jackson, 50, relocated to the city with his three children to be closer to Hollywood and the entertainment industry, said Tohme, promising that “the second half (of his career) will be better than the first.”

There are lots of reasons I feel bad for Jermaine Dupri. I think first and foremost is that he has to interact with Michale Jackson. I think that would be uncomfortable for most people. I mean think about if you were to meet him. The first five seconds would be ok, but then after that, all of these things would start flashing through your head and I think that would be awkward. That and the burka and him peering at your kid through the eye part would be a bit unsettling as well.

Apparently this thing called the internet and all the blogs decided last week that Janet Jackson was pregnant. While I will admit there is a group e-mail list of about the top 100 blogs and celebrity sites, I will say that none of us have ever conspired to make Janet Jackson pregnant. Oh sure, Jesus over at Drunken Stepfather has wanted to make Janet pregnant, but I don’t think he really shared his plans with all of us. So, last week Jermaine was telling the world that Janet was not pregnant.

This week, the rumors have all been that he and Janet split up after four years together. So, again he got onto his blog and denied all of those reports. Next week the plan is to say that Michael and Janet are having a baby in order to create the perfect singing and dancing specimen. At that point Jermaine will probably just give up denying everything and just give in to all of the celebrity bloggers and tabloids and let us just say whatever the hell we want.

I do think that it is kind of interesting that Janet herself has never said anything. How come she never gets on the internet or talks to her fans. Maybe Jermaine is protesting a little too much. Maybe Janet is pregnant, but not by him and that is the reason they broke up. That is a good story. OK, I’m sticking with that one.

The Janet Jackson baby rumors are swirling afresh after some red carpet loose talk from longtime beau Jermain Dupri.

The pregnancy rumors erupted after Jackson, 42, canceled several tour dates in October due to a mystery illness.

The singer and Dupri, 36, have reportedly said they want to get married and have a child before it’s too late.

Those things stirred together stoked the baby gossip.

At the recent grand opening for the SLS hotel in Los Angeles, Dupri told Hollyscoop that Jackson was doing fine post-illness, and also dodged questions about a prospective visit from the stork.

“No, Ya’ll stop saying that, when she gets pregnant everyone will know,” he said.

Hmm, so is she or isn’t she?

It’s probably a safe bet that we won’t know until the bump starts to show.

And according to Jackson, motherhood is certainly on the horizon. “Everyone tells me that there will never be a good time, that I will always be busy, but I just think when the stars are aligned it will happen,” she told Sister 2 Sister magazine.

In other words, keep your eyes peeled for a celestial happening, then check back.

Janet Jackson is ready to Rock Witchu again tomorrow night in DC according to E!  So what kept her from doing 9 shows over the last few weeks?

“After a thorough medical evaluation, it has been confirmed that Janet’s symptoms are being caused by a rare form of migraine called vestibular migrane or migraine-associated vertigo for which she is currently receiving treatment,” read a statement released by Jackson’s camp and obtained by E! News.

“Janet wanted very much to resume her tour so as not to disappoint her fans, but she continued to suffer from vertigo and could not perform,” her manager, Kenneth Crear, said.

“She’s a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect.  She’s feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour.”

I was researching that type of migraine she was suffering from and it explains why she cancelled all of those shows.

At least Jermaine partied for a purpose: The tour has raised over $75,000 to help rebuild New Orleans.

Janet Jackson has been released from the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, according to a hospital rep.

“Yesterday evening she was checked into the Royal Victoria Hospital and left a couple of hours later,” Rebecca Burns, the spokeswoman for the McGill University Health Centre, which operates the hospital, told PEOPLE

Jackson, 42, cancelled her show in Montreal on Monday and was taken to the hospital after she “got suddenly ill” during her sound check, according to a statement from W&W Public Relations.

Further details of the singer’s condition were not immediately available, and reps for Jackson did not return requests for additional comment.

Jackson kicked off her Rock Witchu tour promoting her latest album, Discipline, in Vancouver on Sept. 10.

Jackson has complained of exhaustion, a source close to boyfriend Jermaine Dupri tells PEOPLE. “A 42-year-old body can’t handle what a 22-year-old body can,” says the source. “I can tell you that she’s definitely tired. It was probably exhaustion. She is doing back-to-back, three-hour shows, and her body isn’t the same as it used to be.”

The same night that Jackson was rushed to the hospital, Dupri was spotted in New York City partying at Patron’s Music in Motion Tour featuring TI at Marquee. “If [Janet’s condition] was more serious he would’ve rushed to her side,” added the source.

Jackson is due to perform in Boston Wednesday night.

Janet Jackson cancelled her show tonight in Montreal shortly before it was suppose to start and her reps say it was because she was hospitalized according to AP. They said that she suddenly became ill during soundcheck and was rushed to the hospital. No other information was known at this time, but maybe she got bit by the same bug that her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri throwing up in her lap.

An U.S. Appeals court has ruled in favor of CBS and over turned the $550,000 fine that was given to CBS Corporation for Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction during the Super Bowl half-time show according to Reuters.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit said the U.S. Federal Communications Commission “arbitrarily and capriciously departed from its prior policy” that exempted fleeting broadcast material from actionable indecency violations.

“Moreover, the FCC cannot impose liability on CBS for the acts of Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake, independent contractors hired for the limited purposes of the Halftime Show..,” wrote Chief Judge Anthony Scirica for the three-judge panel that heard the case.

I am so glad that The U.S. Appeals court sided with CBS because the FCC has become way to powerful and uptight. We need to have some freedom of speech on TV and the FCC should not dictate what is vulgar obscene because the PTC complain in droves. Hopefully more of the recent FCC fines will also be overturned!

Janet Jackson might feel “allergic to marriage,” but the pop star is ready to have a baby, says longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri.

“Yeah, soon,” Dupri told PEOPLE Sunday at a dinner party hosted by New Era and Belvedere Vodka at West Hollywood’s STK restaurant. “Right after the tour.” (Jackson, 42, recently announced she’ll be on the road this fall.)

The producer – who has a daughter, Shaniah, from a previous relationship – is so excited to start a family with Jackson, he doesn’t even care if it’s a boy or a girl.
