We always knew Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell was cheeky, but we just weren’t aware quite how cheeky as the sexy songstress left very little to the imagination while attending the BAFTA British Academy Children’s Awards in London over the weekend.

From the front Halliwell appeared every inch the prim and proper pop princess with her soft curls and ruffled red dress, but the backside was another story. Thanks to a gust of wind while posing for pics on the red carpet, the 36-year-old exposed her bare bottom at the otherwise family-friendly event.

According to an eyewitness, quite a commotion was made among the photogs but the mama did her best to brush it off and scurried inside to schmooze with the likes of Sienna Miller and Keira Knightly (who arrived together) as well as Gemma Arterton and Danni Minogue.

Pop newcomer Katy Perry was left red-faced at a charity concert in Canada, when her tight-fitting dress broke on stage.

The I Kissed A Girl singer suffered a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ and revealed rather too much to the audience when her breasts slipped out of her figure-hugging gown.

Perry, 24, was performing at the Fashion Cares fundraiser for AIDS charities in Toronto on Saturday when the fashion mishap occurred.

After throwing herself to the ground during an energetic performance of her new single Hot N’ Cold, Perry soon found her assets struggling for release.

As she knelt one stage beside her guitarist, her halterneck strap pinged off one side of her satin dress, causing it to slip down and reveal her nipples.

Those in the audience were also give a glimpse of the gusset of her white opaque tights.

After realising her overexposure, an embarrassed Perry rushed off stage to fix her dress before returning and carrying on the performance like any consummate professional.

Her performance in Canada came just two days after she hosted the MTV Music Europe Awards in Liverpool.

During the show, she performed her number one hit I Kissed A Girl and made an impressive 10 costume changes.

She also revealed her surprising love for the Antiques Roadshow, admitting it would be her dream job to host it.

Yesterday, she announced her first world tour, with plans to perform in London, Paris, Vancouver, Amsterdam and a host of cities in her native U.S. next year.

Kate Winslet says she didn’t always want to be famous.

“I was fat. I didn’t know any fat famous actresses,” she tells December’s Vanity Fair. “I just did not see myself in that world at all, and I’m being very sincere.

“You know, once a fat kid, always a fat kid,” she adds. “Because you always think that you just look a little bit wrong or a little bit different from everyone else. And I still sort of have that.”

But she says she looks at “women who wear great jeans and high heels and nice little T-shirts wandering around the city and I think, ‘I should make more of an effort. I should look like that,’” she says. “But then I think, ‘They can’t be happy in those heels.’”

Winslet has become a hero to fans for refusing to bow to Hollywood pressure to be skinny. (In 2007, she won libel damages after Britain’s Grazia magazine falsely reported that she used a diet doctor.)

Still, she says, “everyone can commit to 20 minutes” of working out, “especially if there’s a glass of Chardonnay afterwards.”

Above all, the actress wants fans to know she’s just like them - zits and all.

When she walks her children (Mia, 8, and Joe, 5) to school, she says, “Some [parents] will even say to me, ‘O.K., what’s the secret with the skin?’ At which point I’m like, ‘Oh my God, there’s no secret. I have makeup on.’

“And by the way, since I turned 30, I’ve had an acne problem on my chin,” adds the actress. “I’m just like everybody else — I just know how to cover it. If you’d like me to show you how, I’d be more than happy.”

She says she is lucky she’s wed to Sam Mendes, who directs her and Leonardo DiCaprio in the December drama Revolutionary Road.

“I need to be looked after,” she tells the magazine. “I’m not talking about diamond rings and nice restaurants and fancy stuff - in fact, that makes me uncomfortable. I didn’t grow up with it, and it’s not me, you know?

“But I need someone to say to me, ‘Shall I run you a bath?’ or ‘Let’s go to the pub, just us.’ I mean, the things that make me happiest in the whole world are going on the occasional picnic, either with my children or with my partner,” she says. “Big family gatherings, and being able to go to the grocery store — if I can get those things in, I’m doing good.”

What would really make her happy? Winning an Oscar.

“Do I want it? You bet your f–king ass I do!” admits Winslet, who’s been nominated five times. “I think that people assume that I don’t care or don’t want it or don’t need it or something. It’s hard to be there five times, and I’m only human, you know? But I don’t go home and cry, because we’re all grown-ups here.”

How long will it be until Anne Hathaway’s naked photos surface on the net?

Not too long, according to Gawker.com. “We’ll give it another two weeks or so.”

Hathaway, 25, has been the subject of non-stop tabloid coverage following her recent breakup with scam artist Raffaelo Follieri of Italy. Follieri, 30, was arrested in June for fraud.

But it appears Hathaway’s real problems could be just around the corner.

According to the Enquirer, Follieri had reportedly taken several nude photos of Hathaway, Gawker writes. The piece de resistance of which is a prized and “sizzling” photo of her in black fishnet stockings, a garter belt and bustier that completely exposes her top portion. Follieri is believed to have paid a famous photographer to take that picture.

Hathaway’s brother tried to recover the pictures from a storage unit, only to find out that the FBI had beaten him to it the day before, according to Gawker.

The photographer is believed to have copies and it is questionable whether Follieri’s friends do as well.
