Unlucky in love Cameron Diaz looked glum as she took a dip in Hawaii in the wake of her split with British model Paul Sculfor.

The actress, who split with the former brickie earlier this month, appears to be holidaying alone in the spot popular with honeymoon couples.

Looking tanned and toned, the 36-year-old wore a tiny green frilled bikini which left little to the imagination.

And it seemed to be causing her problems as she constantly fiddled with the bottoms as she waded in the clear waters.

There was no sign of Adam Levine, lead singer with Maroon 5, who she was spotted lunching with last week.

The pair dined together at the Chateau Marmont sparking rumours of a budding new romance.

The Hollywood actress, who turns 37 in August, ended her year-long relationship with former Essex bricklayer after she refused to move to the UK.

She recently spoke to Parade magazine about her views on love, saying: ‘I think that what I’ve found, in my experience, is that you always find the person who you’re meant to be with at that time in your life.

‘And what I’ve also found is that you have to move on from those people at certain times, because that’s the way it happens.’

And she said she doesn’t mind approaching 40: ‘I don’t have a problem with growing older.

‘I really don’t. I have no problem with it. It’s wonderful. Thank God we get older because if we’re not getting older, we’re dead.’

Prior to her relationship with Sculfor, she briefly dated singer John Mayer and had a four-year relationship with Justin Timberlake. They were often pictured laughing together in the sea as they surfed.

Sculfor was with Jennifer Aniston for a few months in 2007.

Cameron is due to begin promoting her new film, My Sister’s Keeper, in the next few weeks.

And she has already signed up to another movie called Swingles, with Zach Braff.

According to the Daily Express in the UK, Cameron looked at a bunch of places and then brought Paul along to look at two. I mean what does it even matter what he thinks. She is the one buying the place and she is the one who will be selling it when she finally wises up.

Do I wish them the best? Hell yes, I wish them the best. I am a romantic at heart. I think you have to have a sense of optimism when you are living with your parents well past middle age. I mean if you were a negative sort in my position you would probably mope around the basement all night drinking and eating and making a mess of yourself. Umm. Forget that last part and just stick with the romantic.

Can you imagine the conversation they had when looking at it? “I don’t know Cameron. I mean my $200 a month is not going to go very far in this place.”

The casually-dressed couple couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they enjoyed a dinner date before strolling to a nearby boutique.

Cameron, who was devastated by the death of her father earlier this year, has been enjoying the dating scene since splitting from Justin Timberlake early last year.

In a recent interview with InStyle, she said: ‘People think if you’re single, you are incomplete.

‘No. The thing is, I don’t want to be in a relationship that makes me incomplete.’

Her latest beau Paul began dating Jennifer Aniston earlier in May but the couple split after just two months.

Cameron Diaz is still hot and heavy with Jennifer Aniston’s ex.

On Sunday, the actress, 35, went out on a romantic dinner date in West Hollywood with Brit model Paul Sculfor (who was linked to Aniston, 39, last year).

After the meal, Diaz and Sculfor kissed, held hands and walked with their arms around each other while shopping at the American Rag clothing store.

Diaz first stepped out with Sculfor June 1 at up Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California.

“Cameron was laughing at everything he said — she didn’t stop smiling,” an onlooker told Usmagazine.com then. “She was really flirty and had three or four of her buttons undone.”

Diaz — who was once linked to current Aniston beau John Mayer — recently told In Style she loves “men. Sex is the best!

“I’m not going to bring some idiot into my world, and if I’m not sure about him, I’m cautious,” she added. “My list is all about balance. You can have smart but not funny. You can have funny but not very smart. You can have intellectual but not social.

“I want it all! I love big brains. I love to eat. I love to be outdoors.” she said. “I love to have conversations! I love to make love …. I don’t do anything half-assed, and I want somebody who can keep up with all that.”

I really thought Cameron Diaz would have a dirtier mouth. I just always have expected that she is an every other word F bomb kind of lady. Apparently not because even when she gets royally pissed she isn’t real creative with her choice of insults.

For some reason Cameron was in an Abercrombie & Fitch store. Even more surprising was she found something she wanted to buy. It was a t-shirt with the words “Jesus Goat” printed on the front. The store only had one left and Cameron wasn’t getting it. Why? Well no one actually knows.

My guess? One of the guys or girls working at the store wants to do someone else who works at the mall and has promised them the shirt. Or, the staff could just be pissed that they make $8 an hour and so wanted to stick it to Cameron for no other reason. I guess they could have been big Justin Timberlake fans and somehow blame Cameron for Justin’s descent into complete a*holeness as opposed to just being the partial a*hole he used to be.

So many possibilities. Well Cameron was ticked off and threw a tantrum right there in the store. She did the fake tears bit, did the don’t you know who I am bit, and closed with the I’m going to call your boss bit. None of it worked so she stormed out as only she can and as she departed she uttered the words d**k fiends. D**k fiends? WTF kind of cussing is that? Is she saying the employees like d**k? Isn’t that calling the kettle black?

If you want to get some attention you need to come up with something much better than that. More memorable. More, “I can’t believe she just said that.”

After Cameron left, she apparently realized there are 18,000 A&F stores just in the LA area and so went and got one.
