A variety of tabloids have come up with a wonderful assortment of outrageous claims this week in the never ending saga of Brad & Jen. At this point I just see this as some type of game for the tabloids where they can come up with a fresh story each week which sells copies. At this point it’s obvious the stories are crap, but I think they dish them out because there is a certain segment of the population of the world who loves this stuff. So, lets see what happened this week.
Look Magazine says that Angelina Jolie has been sending text messages to Jennifer Aniston from Brad Pitt’s cell phone and warning Jen to stay away from her man or else. Why would Angelina do this? You are going to love this one. Now Magazine says it is because Jen has been sending gifts to Brad’s office so they can stay friendly in case Brangelina is no more. Neither magazine explains why Angelina wouldn’t use her own phone instead of Brad’s or what the gifts were which got Angelina all riled. Hey, they need to save something for next week.
Maybe they could talk about the picture above. It is from Jen’s new movie and is what she likes to call acting. It is what I like to call ten years of the same look I saw every week on Friends and which continues to torture me through years of syndicated episodes. Go ahead. Turn on a Friends episode right now and you will see the same expression at least three or four times an episode. You could play a drinking game to it. I don’t know if she just went to one day of acting class or this was the only move she could remember, but it’s all she has.

Brad Pitt was the star attraction at this year’s edition of the world’s leading contemporary art fair.
He was also a customer.
He bought a painting titled, “Etappe,” by the German artist Neo Rauch, said Art Basel spokeswoman Maike Cruse.
The David Zwirner Gallery in New York had advertised the work as an “enigmatic and dreamlike” representation of a race car being serviced mid-competition.
Its list price was about $960,000. The gallery refused to comment.
Rauch is among Europe’s top painters, drawing on traditions of Eastern Bloc realism and Western abstraction.
The 40th Art Basel fair opened to the public Wednesday.
It features works from over 2,500 artists. Pitt also attended last year.

Move over, George Clooney.
Looks like Brad Pitt has found a new celeb to heckle: Mel Gibson.
The actor poked fun at Gibson’s 2006 DUI arrest at Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards Saturday in L.A.
Just before the show began, Pitt entered the room and sat in a booth off to the side of the stage with Fight Club costar Ed Norton and the film’s director David Fincher.
Gibson opened the show riding in on a horse and wearing a Viking helmet. He then introduced Fight Club, which was inducted into the Guy Hall of Fame.
“Thanks, sugar t***!” Pitt told Gibson as he accepted the honor. (When he was arrested for DUI, Gibson reportedly called a female police officer “sugar t***.”)
Pitt, Norton and Fincher then read all of the bad reviews of Fight Club and cheered at each criticism.
After plugging his upcoming movie, the intentionally misspelled Inglourious Basterds, Pitt told the crowd, “Thank you for the greatest moment of my f****** life!” He stayed on stage for a few more seconds, pumping his fists above his head and egging on the audience to scream.
Before leaving, Pitt posed for photos backstage with Gibson and actress Halle Berry. He then darted out a side door where his car was waiting.

Burly bodyguard Mickey Brett has tangled with some tough customers, but none so tough as his former clients Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Once they entrusted their lives, and those of their children, to Brett. But now that they’ve learned he’s been thinking about revealing their intimacies in a book, the star couple has come down on him with the fury of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”
Pitt and Jolie, who played married assassins in that movie, have recruited some of the most fearsome libel attorneys in the U.S. and the U.K. to
make sure Brett’s lips stay zipped.
Recently we obtained a proposal for a memoir and a TV show, both offering Brett’s first-person account of his years guarding the likes of Sandra Bullock, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Sly Stallone and Richard Gere.
The main focus of the pitches, though, was Brangelina. Suffice it to say that Brett had fond memories of Jolie, whom he had been protecting since 2001, and less fond recollections of Pitt.
Seeking comment from them, we received a bracing phone call from Marty Singer, the couple’s American litigator.
Singer alleged that Brett wasn’t a reliable source. In fact, he was a “pathological liar.” He said Brett’s lies to U.S. Immigration officials here had led to his being barred from entering this country. Singer said that only recently did Pitt and Jolie discover that Brett, who’d claimed he was a British SAS commando, never even served in the military.
Singer noted that in 1993 Brett was questioned in the murder of British tycoon Donald Urquhart, though he was later released. In 2006, Brett was arrested for assaulting a restaurant owner in Namibia. The same year, in India, he was accused of choking a photographer and arrested for roughing up and making racial insults against some parents who were trying to pick up their kids.
All told, Singer said, Brett had been convicted 11 times of various crimes.
Pitt and Jolie had repeatedly come to Brett’s defense. But they apparently came to have doubts about his style of problem-solving.
As for his book and TV proposals, Singer said Brett was bound by a confidentiality agreement. According to Singer, Brett has now stated that he’d never signed off on the pitches and that many of the yarns attributed to him were fabricated by his ghost writer.
Brett’s attorneys told us: “Our client disputes what has apparently been said by Mr. Singer, but is not in a position to comment further at this stage.”
Brett’s ghost writer, Robin McGibbon, insists that he did not embellish the bodyguard’s stories.
“Mickey was definitely going to consider a book or TV deal if the offer was good enough,” says McGibbon. But at this point, he said, “there’s not going to be any book.”

THE Academy Awards could bring Jennifer Aniston and “Changeling” Best Actress nominee Angelina Jolie face-to-face. Aniston has yet to turn up at a single event that Jolie has attended since Jolie stole Brad Pitt away four years ago on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” But we hear Oscar event planners have timed the red-carpet arrivals of the two rivals only a few minutes apart, meaning they could run into each other. “Jen, who usually complains about her spot, has not said a word this time be cause she’s bringing John Mayer,” says a source. Asked in last month’s GQ whether she speaks to Jolie, Aniston re plied, “No. Nuh-uh,” and forced a little tongue-biting grin. Says our spy: “It’s funny now, because Jen was the one who made a huge deal over not running into them in the past, and now she’s OK with being placed right near Angie.”

A few years ago she wished for a ‘rainbow’ family of seven children from around the world.
Yesterday, Angelina Jolie was probably wishing she’d been born with a few more pairs of hands.
The actress and her partner Brad Pitt struggled through Narita Airport near Tokyo with their brood of six - just one child short of Miss Jolie’s dream family.
Before the trend for celebrities adopting poverty stricken orphans from around the world took off, Miss Jolie declared: ‘I want to create a rainbow family.
‘That’s children of different religions and cultures, from different countries. Actually, I’d love to have seven, a small football team.’
Her comments, made five years ago before she had met Pitt, were treated with scepticism.
Now the Hollywood actress has finally got her wish.
It is the first time the entire Jolie-Pitt clan has been pictured together.

They were arriving in Tokyo from LA where they had attended the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards.
The family are in Japan for the premiere of Brad’s latest film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
They are expected to return to their native US next month for the Oscars, where both Brad and Angelina have been nominated for Benjamin Button and Clint Eastwood’s film The Changeling respectively.

Attached to her mother’s chest in a sling, blue-eyed little Vivienne, born with her twin Knox in July last year in the south of France, looked the spitting image of her older biological sister Shiloh Nouvel, two, seen here holding her mother’s hand. They both had their mother’s famous rose-bud lips.
Shiloh, the couple’s first natural daughter, was born in May 2006 in Namibia. The name is of Hebrew origin and means ‘the peaceful one’ or ‘His gift’.
Wide-eyed Knox riding on his father’s chest was also styled like him - with both wearing grey jumpers and tweed flat caps.
The twins have certainly earned enough to keep the whole family in expensive threads in their short lives so far. Their parents negotiated the most expensive magazine deal ever when they sold pictures of the twins to People magazine and Hello! a month after the births for £7.5million.
However the money was donated to the Jolie-Pitt family’s charitable foundation.

Gripping tight hold of Brad’s left hand is Zahara Marley. She was adopted from an orphanage in Ethiopia when she was just five months old in July 2005. The adoption came two months after Miss Jolie first visited the country with Pitt.
To Brad’s right is Pax Thien who was adopted from a Vietnamese orphanage in March 2007.
Abandoned at birth he was called Pham Quang before being renamed by Jolie. Pax is Latin for Peace and Thien is Vietnamese for heaven.
Trailing slightly behind the group is Maddox. In June 2002, Jolie and her then husband Billy Bob Thornton adopted the Cambodian orphan.
He was nine months old at the time. Jolie had decided to adopt after visiting the country as a goodwill ambassador for the UN in 2001.
Brad and Angelina - dubbed ‘Brangelina’ by showbusiness commentators - recently complained they spend the entire life jet-setting with their family. Their gruelling schedules promoting films and endorsing products have made them two of the highest-paid celebrities in Hollywood.
Miss Jolie said: ‘Our kids are always packing. They like to pack - it’s a game in our house.
‘It can get very hard trying to find 20 minutes to close your eyes if you’ve been up since four in the morning. We travel so much, we never have to adjust. We change school time to four in the afternoon if we have to.’

Brad Pitt’s had it up to here with fame. And he’s happy to talk about it.
Angelina Jolie’s other half opened up about his troubles during a roundtable discussion alongside other stars with Newsweek.
“This publicity machine is out of control. It’s everything we didn’t sign up for,” he says on the press tours that come with releasing a film.
“There’s this whole other entity that you get sucked into. You have to go and sell your wares.”
Although Pitt shot and published intimate photos of Jolie and their six children for W magazine - and has sold first photos of several of his children to magazines - the “Curious Case of Benjamin Button” actor says he’s “never made peace” with the fame game.
“Somehow you’re not supporting your film if you don’t get out on a show and talk about your personal life. It has nothing to do with why I do this.”
Frank Navarre, founder of photography agency X-17, recently told the Daily News that, to Pitt, fame “is not a game - it’s war.”
“Everything he does is calculated … Brad Pitt is somebody who is obsessed with it.”
But the 45-year-old Oscar nominee says he’s never “Googled” himself, adding, “I don’t really know how to operate a computer.”
Pitt, who has “nothing to prove anymore,” also says he’s glad he’s not getting his start as an actor these days. “I feel for the people who are just getting into the business. It sets the wrong focus.”

Which is bad for him, but is great for us! And it could have been even better had his little Basterd come out to play!!! To be honest I am surprised he even has the energy to get dressed!

On his KIIS-FM radio show Monday, Ryan Seacrest spoke out about Angelina Jolie dissing him on the red carpet at Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards.
Seacrest had gotten up next to the actress and beau Brad Pitt, hoping to score an interview on E!’s pre-show. “Hi, guys. Brad? Angelina?” he said, but they ignored his advance and brushed by him.
Seacrest’s take on the incident?
“I don’t think Angelina thinks I’m that important,” he said on his show Monday. “I don’t think I’m top of mind for Brad and Angelina. I honestly don’t believe they’d know who I was if I walked over there.”
When guest Perez Hilton told Seacrest that that’s impossible, as he hosts the No. 1 show American Idol, the TV personality shot back: “Yeah…but they live in France!”
Jolie and Pitt did stop for NBC’s Billy Bush, but Seacrest said, “there’s an NBC deal there. NBC hosted the Globes, and they have a deal to talk to the people who come to the Globes.
“Here’s what I realized when I went down there,” Seacrest went on. “I realized quickly that it’s against the rules to walk down onto the carpet from the platform.
“Then we went back down there and caught up with Tom Cruise, who I think is a terrific guy. I think he’s really cool,” he said. “By the way, have you seen his skin tone up close lately? You should!”
Seacrest clashed with Jolie before: At the 2006 Golden Globes, he asked her what she fed her children that day and she icily replied ” Cereal — we made cereal.”
He later called her “cold” for being so unresponsive.
Turns out, Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, was on her death bed at the time.

In the new issue of Rolling Stone (out Friday), Brad Pitt comes to Angelina Jolie’s defense over a recent New York Times article that says she is a master at controlling the press.
“It sounded to me like the story made Angie out to be manipulative in some way,” he says. “She is savvy.”
He continues, “I get defensive. [They’re] talking about not only the woman I love, but one of the people on this planet who I have the greatest respect for. I think she’s as honorable as anyone I’ve ever met.”
He adds that Jolie got him into flying.
“She’s definitely more experienced,” he says. “Yeah, she’s badass.”
As for his favorite Jolie film?
Their 2005 action flick Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Why?
“Because you know … six kids,” he says. “Because I fell in love.”
Meanwhile, he says his new fantasy drama The Curious Case of Benjamin Button got him thinking about his own mortality.
“Angie and I do not fight anymore,” he says. “What occurred to me on this film, and also with the passing of her mother [actress Marcheline Bertrand in 2007], is that there’s going to come a time when I’m not going to get to be with this person anymore. I’m not going to get to be with my children anymore. Or friends, people I love and respect. And so, if we have a flare-up, it evaporates now.”
Adds Pitt, 44, “I don’t want to waste time being angry at someone I love.”

Brad Pitt was grabbed, pushed and spun around by a plainclothes security guard at the premiere of his new movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in L.A. on Monday.
Pitt arrived at the Bruin Theatre in Westwood about a half hour before the film was scheduled to end, as he was supposed to talk to the audience and answer their questions about the film.
Some photographers knew he’d be there, and as he entered the lobby, they followed him in and attempted to take photos.
Seeing the commotion, the plainclothes security guard went after Pitt in lieu of shooing away the photographers. Oddly, the guard appeared to be clutching a brochure for a karate studio in his teeth as he manhandled the actor.
Pitt looked bewildered and shaken, but he was able to pull free and go up a stairway to escape.
The stairway only led up to bathrooms.
Pitt had to wait a bit while the lobby was cleared before he was able to walk back down without any problems.
UPDATE: In a statement, an Executive Protection Specialist tells Entertainment Tonight that he was attempting to get Pitt away from the aggressive photographers:
“We were told by Mr. Pitt’s people that he was being followed by numerous paparazzi that ran a minimum of two red lights to keep up with Mr. Pitt. When Mr. Pitt arrived at the theater approximately seven paparazzi bum-rushed the front door of the theater and began to rush inside. It’s security’s sole priority to protect the talent and I removed Mr. Pitt immediately from what could have been a potentially dangerous situation.””We were told by Mr. Pitt’s people that he was being followed by numerous paparazzi that ran a minimum of two red lights to keep up with Mr. Pitt. She may be the most photographed woman in the world. But even Angelina Jolie can fly under the radar.
The actress – who recently returned from a humanitarian mission in Afghanistan – made a surprise appearance at Monday night’s Hollywood Film Festival Awards Gala, where she payed tribute to director Clint Eastwood.
In fact, Jolie’s appearance was so unexpected, the A-list crowd gasped audibly when she was introduced.
The mother-of-six took time out of her busy schedule to present Eastwood – who helmed her most recent move, The Changeling – with the director of the year award.
“There are some people in this business that are icons, and we often wonder if, when we meet them, they’ll live up to what we imagine them to be,” she told the audience. “And Clint Eastwood in person is even better.”
“Clint is what every great director should be,” she continued. “He is a great leader. And I certainly would follow him anywhere.”
That admiration appears to be mutual.
As he accepted the honor, Eastwood noted, “Working with someone like Angelina Jolie is a great privilege, because you get to look on that gorgeous beauty every day. And she’s a great talent.”
The two walked arm-in-arm from the stage. Then Jolie, wearing a floor-sweeping black gown and minimal makeup, slipped out of the event as stealthily as she’d arrived.

If Angelina Jolie finally marries Brad Pitt, he can thank that smelly green ogre Shrek. “Usually people fall in love and everything revolves around the ritual of marriage. Children are an afterthought,” says Jolie. “We did everything backwards. But sooner or later, it will be the kids who ask us. They see films and start asking questions. Such as, ‘Why are Shrek and Fiona married and you’re not?’ ”
The “Changeling” actress also told the Italian edition of Vanity Fair that she may quit acting.
“The kids are my priority, so it’s possible that from now on, I will make fewer movies. I may even stop altogether. I no longer have the ambition I had in my 20s.”
The 33-year-old mom of six added: “My life is a lot more chaotic and adventurous now. Brad and I pilot airplanes, we travel nonstop, we go to difficult places, and we have chosen to do it taking all of the kids with us. I feel a lot braver now than when I was an angry young woman.”
Gone are the days when Jolie scarred herself with knives and considered suicide. “I used to think I was unstable, because I had this thirst for something.
“I could never figure out what it was. I couldn’t sleep at night, and I always wanted to be somewhere else, and I have a window tattooed, this little box, and it’s because wherever I was, I wanted to be somewhere else. And I always saw myself - wherever I was in life - staring out the window.
“I knew little about the world, and I was completely self-absorbed. It was only when I came out of my shell and started taking care of others that I found the real Angelina.
“Sure, I am still restless, but do you know that my kids are the same way? We were in France these last few months and after a while they started asking when we could get back on a plane.”
The family is currently in Germany, where Pitt is filming Quentin Tarantino’s World War II drama “Inglorious Bastards.”
