High School Musical hottie Zac Efron is sounding off about rumors that he is gay.

“I know it’s very addictive to read that kind of stuff. It’s entertainment,” he tells the January/February issue of Details, citing Perez Hilton, who has often questioned the actor’s sexuality. “He’s doing something right. I think he does a great job.”

Pausing, he adds,”Honestly, if the worst he can say about me is that I’m gay, then I think I’ll be fine. I can handle it.”

(He recently went on a date with HSM co-star and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.)

Efron also spoke out about the fact that his upcoming comedy Seventeen was created as a star vehicle for him.

“It’s weird, but I don’t feel like I deserve any of the attention,” he says. “There’s really nothing but one audition for a Disney channel movie that separates me from 2,000 other brown-haired, blue-eyed guys in L.A., you know?”

But the actor says he is in it for the long haul.

“These days everyone is just waiting for me to f—k up,” Efron, 20, says. “I’m not gonna give anyone the satisfaction of that.”

Who’s that lovely lady on January/February’s Detail Magazine? It’s that little twinkie, Zac Efron. He actually has a touch of masculinity. Just a touch. I think they had to Photoshop make-up OFF of him, because he never leaves home with full foundation and eyelashes.

Despite the rain, Palm Springs Film Festival draw A-List celebrities on the red carpet leading to the gala for the 19th Annual International Film Festival. According to The Desert Sun news, “About 150 or so film fans braved the chilly, rainy weather to cheer their favorite stars on as they exited stretch limos for the walk down the red carpet.” Halle Berry, John Travolta, Drew Brrimore, Zac Efron and Amanda Bynes were among the celebrities who attended the award ceremony. The annual Palm Springs event will air a total of 220 movies.

Teen star Vanessa Hudgens talks about her experience regarding the controversial leaked nude pictures that jeopardized her blossoming career.

“It’s very traumatic, and I am extremely upset it happened,” the High School Musical star confides. “I hope all my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions.”
The 19-year-old singer/actress reveals that she knew the photos had been leaked online. “We heard some story was going to break in the tabloids, and I was like, ‘What?!’ A few days later, the picture came out while I was on vacation in Australia. Thank God I wasn’t home - it would have sucked.”

Hudgens says that she learned a lesson from the scandal; “It’s very unfortunate because with the Internet these days, you don’t have a personal life.”

“Nothing is private. Everyone knows everything, and they can find out everything about you. You have to be aware of the people you’re around,” she added.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have broken up! The High School Music actor,  Efron, 20 is said to have broken the news to Hudgens, 19, over the phone just a week before Christmas. He had given her a brand new Audi S4 convertible as a birthday present on December 14, just a few days before he broke up with her. Wow, not bad for a 20-year old boyfriend, ha?

“They’ve been together for a long time, and he didn’t even call her to wish her a Merry Christmas. She was crushed!” a source close to the teen idols told The Enquirer.

Vanessa was blindsided by the breakup because Zac had just given her a brand-new car - that matched his - for her 19th birthday, which was Dec. 14.

But the sleek black Audi S4 convertible ended up being a parting gift, says the source.

“Zac wants to move on, start seeing other girls. He’s had no shortage of women hitting him up to become Vanessa’s replacement. Zac’s got enough numbers to fill a phone book!”

Vanessa Hudgens opens up about the nude photo of her that hit the internet back in September. In the latest issue of Seventeen magazine, Vanessa talks about the experience and what she learned, as reported by People:

On hearing the photo was leaked :
“I found out from my manager. We heard some story was going to break in the tabloids, and I was like, What?!? A few days later, the picture came out while I was on vacation in Australia. Thank God, I wasn’t home – it would have sucked if I was at home. So I got to be away from L.A. for about a millisecond. But when I came back, it got kind of crazy.”

On the lesson learned:
“You’re not as safe as you think you are, and you have to be aware of the people you’re around.”

On her mom’s reaction:
“I was just open with her, and she was just so cute. She was like, ‘Well, everyone can be naked if they want to.’ ”

So Vanessa Hudgens’ mom is officially awesome: “Honey, you want to get naked for the boys, that’s A-okay with me.” Where was Vanessa’s mom when I was growing up? Nobody told their daughters to get naked for me. They just bought them pepper spray and self-defense classes. Which is why I spent most of high school being called “Pepperface McKick-in-the-balls.”

Meeting up for a trip to Woodland Hills and the mall, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens were spotted out for lunch and a little last minute shopping on Christmas Eve (December 24).

Clad in a blue dress topped off by a grey sweater, Tisdale seemed to be well recovered from her recent nose surgery - joking and laughing throughout the day with 19-year-old Hudgens.
