Actress Uma Thurman, 37, was spotted in New York City with son Levon Roan, 6, on Thursday. Roan’s father is Ethan Hawke, 37, and he has sister Maya Ray, 9 ½. He’ll become a big brother later this year when Ethan and his girlfriend welcome their first child together.

Uma Thurman has a short attention span.  The 37-year-old actress admits that her house is “always a disaster” and that she “can never finish anything.”  But after giving birth to daughter Maya Ray, 9, and son Levon Roan, 5, however, Uma says she made an effort to change her free-spirited ways and to put down some roots.

Before I had kids, I was even worse. I would constantly move. I’ve made huge strides for the sake of my dear children so they’re not subject to adolescent homelessness from me.

Uma Thurman left the Waverly Inn in NYC last night wearing what looks like knitted oven mittens. Damn, is it true what they say about women with big hands? I sort of love that she doesn’t give a fuck that she’s wearing enormous lobster claws that completely clash with her outfit. 

Those things are scary. She can probably scratch the back of her head and her ass at the same time. Her man is kind of hot, though.

On the surface, he sounds as sleazy as Jude Law. But hold your hurls, girls! Ethan Hawke did not leave Uma Thurman for their nanny.

According to Gatecrasher, Ethan’s recently revealed, super-secret relationship with the woman who used to care for his kids started after he and Uma divorced.

“She had nothing to do with the divorce, and they started seeing each other after she was no longer the children’s nanny,” a friend of the nanny’s told the newspaper. (Gatecrasher identifies the nanny only as “Ryan.”)

According to an unknown friend of Ethan’s, the mysterious “Ryan” respectfully waited about a year after her former employer’s marriage ended before she confessed her feelings. “They are incredibly in love,” the friend confirmed.

Why are we hearing about this only now? According to another Ethan associate, “They’ve been keeping a lid on this for some time.”

Cate Blanchett spent Saturday night performing in the play Right You Are (If You Think You Are) at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.

Held in the Grand Rotunda of the world famous art center, Cate’s latest endeavor drew support from fellow actresses Uma Thurman and Mary-Kate Olsen, both of whom were in attendance.

Uma Thurman showed up at the Swarovski Fashion Rocks concert at the Royal Albert Hall yesterday. She was wearing, uh, something, I think. Not exactly sure what kind of fashion statement she’s making here. It’s kind of like Uma woke up and said, “Hey, I want people to know I’ve got nipples. And, also, an ass.” Which is convenient, because just the other day I was thinking to myself, “Does Uma Thurman have all her anatomical parts? Or is she missing a nipple, or perhaps her whole buttocks?” Mystery solved. Now I can focus my awesome mind power on more important things. Aw, yeah, Tetris!
