Uma Thurman is learning never say never – at least when it comes to wedding vows.

After her two divorces from actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke, the Kill Bill star swore she’d never marry again. But now, in her first interview since her engagement to Swiss multimillionaire Arpad “Arki” Busson was announced, Thurman tells the U.K.’s Sunday Times Style magazine that she’s happy to go back on her word.

“I’m going to have to retract my statement of never,” she says. “I’ll have to eat my words – what a surprise.”

Thurman, who says “personally, things are wonderful,” also showed off her stunning engagement ring (which is reported to be an 8-plus carat center diamond surrounded by 20 smaller stones). It’s so big, the article says, he hand can “barely get through the sleeve of her coat.”

With her personal life going well, the 38-year-old actress also says she’s happy to “look my age.”

“Being in my late thirties is fine with me. Maybe when 40 hits, the penny will drop and you just hate life. But so far, so good.”

Hollywood star Uma Thurman’s stalker Jack Jordan has been ordered to keep his distance from the actress for five years following his conviction for stalking and harassing her.He was arrested outside Thurman’s New York City home in 2005 after attempting to force his way into her movie trailer, while she was shooting My Super Ex-Girlfriend. During the week-long trial at New York City’s Manhattan Supreme Court, Thurman and her parents testified, revealing how Jordan had bombarded them with notes and letters, and threatened to kill himself if her mother and father refused to pass on the messages. Jordan was found guilty of fourth-degree stalking and one count of second degree aggravated harassment by the jury on May 6th. But Jordan escaped jail time when he was sentenced today. A judge decided instead to simply order him to stay away, and gave him three years’ probation. Jordan was also told to seek outpatient treatment as part of his punishment. He was acquitted on two other aggravated harassment charges.

Hollywood star Uma Thurman is facing a legal battle from French cosmetics giant Lancome, after the sexy actress launched a bid for compensation against them. The star signed a two-year deal with the brand in 2000, with Lancome agreeing to pay her $5.8 million for the first two years and $3.1 million for each additional year, if the company exercised its option to renew. Court papers were filed on Wednesday in New york City’s Manhattan Supreme Court, asking for a ruling against Thurman, who it alleges is demanding $1 million for unauthorized use of her name and face on Canadian billboards and Asian Web sites after her contract expired. Betram Fields, the star’s lawyer, says, “I thought we were negotiating in good faith. I guess the French decided to strike a preemptive blow. “I’m delighted that the case will go before a jury. They got an enormous benefit throughout the world after the contract was over, and $1 million doesn’t begin to do it.”

Jordan once gave the 37-year-old actress’ personal assistant a package containing a letter, his driver’s license, a postcard of the Statute of Liberty and other objects.

“I gave up describing the contents of my heart to famous women I don’t know after Carol Channing broke my heart in the early nineties,” he wrote.

Jordan offers vexingly few details regarding his “early nineties” relationship with the Hello, Dolly! star, though by process of elimination, his age of 37 would have to isolate the affair to the 1990s. It’s easy enough to see, however, after letting one special and talented lady slip through your fingers, how virtually no efforts would seem too extreme in wooing the next superstar to steal one’s heart.

Actress Uma Thurman, 37, was spotted in New York City with son Levon Roan, 6, on Thursday. Roan’s father is Ethan Hawke, 37, and he has sister Maya Ray, 9 ½. He’ll become a big brother later this year when Ethan and his girlfriend welcome their first child together.
