While Tyra Banks promotes the inclusion of the first transgender contestant on the upcoming season of “America’s Next Top Model,” former judge Janice Dickinson says she’s been there, done that. The self-proclaimed “world’s first supermodel” told New York magazine she broke that ground on her Oxygen show “Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.”

“I did it on my show first with Claudia (Charriez),” the 53-year-old said. “But you know what? There’s not going to be a moment where Tyra’s not going to knock me off, so I’m not bothered by her.”

Well, maybe she’s a little bothered. Seems Janice thinks her former “Top Model” boss owes her some gratitude.

“I (never got) a note or call (from Tyra) thanking me for helping to put her show on the map,” Janice complained. “Whatever. She’s not my favorite person.”

Tyra Banks is crazy ya’ll. But not like crazy in a bad way, just like…you know…crazy in a Tyra Banks kind of way. Like stripping off all her clothes on national television or dressing up like a homeless person and living on the street for a night. You can kind of always expect Tyra to be just a little out there.

Well yesterday Tyra got serious as she and previous America’s Next Top Model contestants Claire Unabia, Saliesha Cooper and Jaslene Gonzalez joined New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to plant an Oak tree on Ninth Avenue as part of the Million Tree Month and as a commemoration of the 600th episode of the The Tyra Banks Show. And a tree wasn’t the only thing Tyra planted.

Before the day was over she had planted a nice wet kiss right on cheek of Michael Bloomberg. Oh Tyra!

The event will air on an episode of The Tyra Banks Show sometime after Earth Day.

There’s been no shortage of tales about Tyra Banks’ personality conflicts on the set of “America’s Next Top Model,” but the latest might be the most interesting since it could have a lasting impact on the show. OK! magazine reports that Banks isn’t getting along with photo shoot creative director Jay Manuel, and her days on the show could be numbered.

“It’s gotten so bad that Tyra and Jay aren’t speaking,” an insider told OK! magazine. The selective silent treatment isn’t limited to Manuel, either. “Tyra barely interacts with the contestants and only wants to show up on judging day,” the source told the magazine.

Net result? Banks (who wouldn’t comment on the rumors) might be looking for a new supermodel to helm ANTM. “She’s really throwing all her weight behind her talk show,” according to a source familiar with “The Tyra Banks Show.” “She’s putting lots of pressure on her staff to keep her show on the map. She had Barack Obama on, she had Hilary Clinton on — she got a taste of playing with the big boys and now ‘Top Model’ seems to detract from her big plans.”

A man charged with stalking Tyra Banks has been ordered to stay away from the talk-show host or face going to jail.

Brady Green, according to a criminal complaint, has followed Banks from coast to coast since January, sent her letters and flowers, and tried to telephone her. Last week he was issued a court order requiring him to leave her alone.

Green, of Dublin, Ga., was arrested when he showed up several times March 18 at the Manhattan building where “The Tyra Banks Show” is taped and asked to speak to her, a misdemeanor complaint filed in Criminal Court says.

Banks also hosts the CW reality show “America’s Next Top Model.”

The complaint says building custodian Edward Troiano told police Green also had appeared at Banks’ Los Angeles studio “on multiple occasions” and asked to speak to her. He said Green had sent her letters and flowers there and had tried to reach her there by telephone at least five times, the complaint says.

Banks, 34, told police that Green’s actions had caused her to fear that she was in danger.

Police charged Green, 37, with stalking, criminal trespass and harassment. After his arraignment last Wednesday on the charges, Criminal Court Judge Anthony Ferrara released him without bail and ordered him to return to court May 13.

A telephone call to Green’s attorney wasn’t immediately returned Monday.

The New York Post said the Chelsea studio staffers were worried about Green returning. The paper said they were handing out photos of Green on Friday with a warning to stay away from him.

Prosecutors said they did not have an address for Green, who likely could face up to a year in jail if convicted.

America’s Next Top Model turns 100 on Wednesday. That a pound per episode added to Tyra Bank’s weight!

There are few things on this earth I enjoy more than smacking down Tyra Banks. The reason is that she never just does anything half assed. When Tyra screws up, she screws up good and when she is a bitch, she is the biggest bitch on the planet.

I will have to say though that even for Tyra, this is world class. She can go the rest of her career and I doubt she could ever come off more heartless than this. She can try and try but this is the cream at the top baby.

Last year Tyra had a makeover show for people who had suffered in their life. Until now they couldn’t speak about their experience on Tyra’s show because the participants have to sign a gag order which lasts for one year from the date of their appearance on the show. The following accounts are from this week’s Enquirer.

Woman #1 -
Jodi Hughes is a 39 year old woman. She has cervical cancer and lupus and is raising her two children, one of whom is legally blind on her own. Well, Jodi was thrilled that Tyra wanted to do a makeover of her and Tyra flew Jodi and her two kids out to the show.

Jodi says things went bad the minute they stepped off the plane in Los Angeles to tape the show. “Jordan, 17, and Nick, 10 - who is legally blind - were left sitting on a curb outside the studio lot for hours with no food, no phone and no money while Jodi underwent her “transformation” - which included nothing more than the services of a professional makeup artist, a new dress and a cheap, painful hair weave, she says. Tyra’s producers scripted her lines for the show, Jodi says. “The producers told me to say: “Thank you, Tyra, for making me feel like a woman again.’ That was the most humiliating part.”

Actually I think the most humiliating part might have been the fact that Jodi had spent months regrowing her hair after chemo and the weave destroyed it all. The weave also infected her scalp and necessitated an emergency room visit.

On the same show was a woman who had no arms. Instead of getting the woman something useful like artificial limbs, Tyra instead got the woman a $500 purse. Great, she can carry the purse around with her teeth. Instead of realizing what idiots they were, the producers of the show told the woman she should be grateful that someone would give her a $500 purse. Hell you know Tyra probably got it the night before at some swag suite and said to herself this would be perfect for a guest. “It is a little scratched. Hell, I will give it to the woman with no arms. She can always sell it on E-Bay if she doesn’t want to look like a little dog with it in her mouth.”

 

Tyra Banks worshippers may be a bit shocked this week to discover that their beloved supermodel-turned-entrepreneur may be suing a stage four cervical cancer survivor.

The mother of two, thirty-nine year-old Jodi Hughes, was both thrilled and surprised to find out that her two sons had won her a makeover spot on Tyra’s “Holiday Girl Party!” episode. Not only was the makeover a real letdown consisting of nothing more than a new dress and hair weave, but Hughes claims that producers would not allow her two sons (one of whom is blind) to enter the building, leaving them with no supervision or care while she received her “makeover.”

Furthermore, Hughes had to have the weave surgically removed due to an infection it caused on her scalp; all of the hair she grew completely gone after having undergone chemotherapy for years.

Hughes has asked nothing more from Banks and her team but an apology—she has not requested any monetary compensation for her mistreatment. However, Tyra showed her love towards Hughes when she threatened a lawsuit for violating her gag-order, which prevents her from talking about the show.

Someone told her that she definitely isn’t the next Oprah, right?

In an interview with Essence Magazine, Tyra Banks tries to get us to feel sorry for her and forget that she is fact a world class spoiled jackass.

“I’d go to work [on ‘The Tyra Banks Show’], and women would be crying in my arms. But then I’d go home and put my key in my door and … nothing. No friends, no husband, no children. I feel so full when I’m at work but so empty when I come home.”

Well maybe if you first started treating your employees like human beings that would be a good first step. Maybe if you were not so mean to every person you have ever met in your entire life who couldn’t help you get a step ahead would be a good second step. Maybe if you dated guys who were under the age of 50, and had less than $50M in their bank accounts that would be a good third step. Maybe if you spent less time complaining, and more time doing, that would be a good fourth step.

Hell Tyra, by the time I’m done we could have a whole 12 Step program all here and ready for you. Not that it would do any good. Have you ever wondered why you don’t have any friends? Have you ever wondered why no one ever wants to hang out with you a second time unless they are getting paid for it?

I’m not saying Tyra is the only person or celebrity who acts this way, but what sucks is her giving an interview to a national magazine and trying to get us to feel sorry for her actions which caused the result. Woe is you Tyra? I don’t think so.

Elyse Sewell from America’s Next Top Model 1, the girl that should’ve won, and her boyfriend, Marty Crandall from The Shins, were arrested on Friday night in Sacramento for domestic abuse. Elyse wrote on her livejournal:

On the drive home (home?) from Albuquerque to Portland, my ex-boyfriend got shitfaced and roughed me up in a Sacramento hotel. I escaped from the room through a blitzkrieg of violence and talked to hotel security, who called the fuzz.

Because he had a bite mark, inflicted in self-defense, on his arm, Marty told the police to PRESS CHARGES OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST ME. Now I am a felon. Jailors. America’s Next Top Model fans, all. As the warden took pics of my bloody knuckles for evidence (!!!! evidence!), he quipped, “So there goes that hand modeling job, huh? What’s Tyra going to say about this?” And here is how I was summoned from the holding cell for a strip-search, complete with a thorough plumbing of the boodissy: “Hey, Supermodel! Git over here!”

I’m not saying that your office has to have a holiday party. It is not required. It should be required but it isn’t. Without holiday parties though you don’t have stories to tell all the next year about the couple that were found passed out naked in the supply closet or the other 3some between the two janitors and the president of the company and the photos someone took and has now put on a special website called Pine-Sol loving.

Anyway, if the office has any kind of money or any kind of decency, they have an office party. Not if you work for the Tyra Banks Show. Her staff had to make their own arrangements for a party, and then had to pay for it themselves. Remember, this is the same staff that uprooted their entire lives and moved from LA to NY just to stay employed on her show. Tyra repaid their thanks by saying she would try and come to the party, but she had some shopping to do in Italy and wasn’t sure if she could make it. Well lo and behold she did make it and even brought a guy dressed as Santa.

The staff all thought Tyra was going to give them their Oprah moment. Bonuses or a free car. Something. Anything. What they got was a cold McDonalds cheeseburger each. Never mind that half the staff was vegetarian. Tyra didn’t even stay while the cheeseburgers were being passed out. Had to catch that private jet to Italy you know. Busy, busy, busy. Did I mention the $30M Tyra got to move to NY? The staff got their moves paid for and that was it.

And how was your holiday party?
