Scarlett Johansson, full-time actress and sometime rocker, masks her celestial forearm tat for her latest flick, period piece The Other Boleyn Girl. The 23-year-old plays the film’s title character opposite Natalie Portman, as history’s most famous beheadee, Ann Boleyn.

She told the Today Show’s Matt Lauer this morning about her work in the corsets-and-controversy drama: “I had come to the project originally because Natalie was attached to it and I desperately wanted to work with her. I had been a fan for so long.”

The duo’s mutual admiration comes through in their recent sexy photo shoot for W magazine.

SCARLETT Johansson has been dating Canadian hottie Ryan Reynolds for a year now, and rumors have them secretly engaged. Adding fuel to the fire, Johansson took her mother and sister to the Monique Lhuillier boutique in LA recently to look at wedding dresses. “They stayed for a while,” our source said. A rep for the actress didn’t return e-mails. Reynolds, who used to be engaged to Alanis Morissette, is said to be keener on marriage than Johansson, who has said she’s in no rush.
