The “Hannah Montana” star is also sharing the spotlight during the private party with some deserving young people from Youth Service America who’ve been making a difference in their communities.

And ET has learned that Miley’s fans are going to be able to join in the fun too! A limited number of $250 tickets to the exclusive event, “Miley’s Sweet 16 — Share the Celebration,” go on sale on August 30 at 9am PDT.

After years of playing coy, Miley Cyrus finally speaks out about her ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

“We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met,” Cyrus says in the September issue of Seventeen Magazine. “He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, ‘I think you’re beautiful and I really like you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.’”

The teen stars, now both 15, never went public with their relationship – Cyrus said they were “just really good buds” – though fans and reporters alike were onto them.

“Nick and I loved each other,” Cyrus says now. “We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.”

After they broke up at the end of 2007, Cyrus tells Seventeen, “At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black. When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights – and so I did that, and I got myself looking great. And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now – I don’t want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.”

Cyrus doesn’t rule out getting back together with the Jonas brother one day – though a source told PEOPLE he’s now dating fellow Disney Channel star Selena Gomez, 16.

“Maybe he’ll be my best friend for the rest of my life or maybe I’ll end up marrying Nick Jonas!” Cyrus says.

But for now, she’s happily single. “Since [the breakup], I’ve realized that I’ve met so many great guys, but I like being the girl nobody can have,” she says. “No one can touch me, no one’s mine. I’m myself. I think it’s sexy to do your own thing.”

Some things about gossip I just don’t get. I do get the fact that Miley Cyrus is popular and that the Jonas Brothers are popular. I don’t have a problem with them being popular, because there will always be boy bands and tweeners and their fans.

What I don’t get is why by my count at least 20 websites, tabloids and blogs have spent the time to talk about Miley Cyrus and her comments about her two year relationship with Nick Jonas. The relationship ended last year when she was 14 which means it started when she was 12.

Unless she was doing crack with him in a Denny’s parking lot while sitting in a car he stole from his neighbor at gun point, I really don’t care about the love lives of 12 year olds. The way this is being treated is as if Miley has come down the mountains with tablets.

Are we that concerned about celebrity that we want to analyze the love lives of kids before they are even teenagers? I’m sure their relationship was just like any other teenage relationship. They talked on the phone or texted or IM’D 24/7 and said OMG and I love you a lot and kept asking each other questions in some type of hieroglyphic code that no one over the age of 16 understands.

They laughed and giggled and she took a bunch of photos of herself in sex 14 year old poses. Whoo hoo. I don’t have a television in front of me, but I swear it would not surprise me in the least if one of the 24 hour channels was running quotes from the article on their crawl at the bottom. How is this news? Are hordes of 13 year old kids, reading every word repeatedly trying to get a glimpse into what a relationship with Nick or Miley is like and what they can expect when they become their next love? I need a drink.

Pop teen singer Miley Cyrus is denying her hit song ‘7 Things’ was written about her ex-boyfriend singing star Nick Jonas. The Hannah Montana television icon, split with the Jonas Brothers singer last year, but insists there are no ill feelings between them at all. She says, “A lot of people think 7 Things is about Nick and that’s fine. But mostly that song is about who they want it to be.”Nick is someone that was really important in my life, but I don’t hate him.It’s a good song and it’s fun.” In the song, Cyrus sings, “Your friends, they’re jerks, and when you act like them, just know it hurts.” But Jonas knows the song is not about him.
