Only Madonna would actually go to an airport in just a robe. Seriously she could have put on some clothes in the limo. I think that is the tackiest thing I have seen her do and we all know she has done a lot of tacky things.
She tells the world that she doesn’t let her kids watch TV, but what type of example is she setting going to a public place in a robe. Madonna you are 50, put on some clothes.
BTW what is up with those bangs and those old lady shoes?

THIS is the orphan whom Malawian officials say pop goddess MADONNA is “on the very cusp” of adopting.
Madge originally scrapped her year-long battle for three-year-old Mercy James just four months ago as her marriage to British film director GUY RITCHIE, 39, hit the rocks.
But officials yesterday confirmed the star has resumed her adoption bid — which pals say proves their marriage is “back on track”.
Malawian adoption minister Penstone Kilembe said: “Madonna’s representatives have been visiting the girl. The adoption is now advanced — all the government is waiting for is Madonna to forward the petition of adoption formalities.
“Then Mercy will be able to leave the country for a new life.”
Pals of Madonna, who turns 50 on Saturday, say she is keen to have a sister for her adopted Malawian son David Banda, three — and feels her marriage is again strong enough to cope.
A close family friend revealed: “The adoption process in Malawi is so long and stressful that all the legal wrangling put a huge strain on their marriage.

“They dropped proceedings to pour all their energies into each other. But Madonna now feels they are stable enough to press ahead with the adoption again.”
The friend said Madge “fell in love” with Mercy when they met at her orphanage last year.
However, the girl’s gran Lucy Chekechiwa, 60, said she has been asked repeatedly by officials if Mercy could be adopted by an “unidentified foreign family” — but was firmly against it.
Speaking from her village in Zomba District, Lucy said: “We know that it is Mercy who Madonna really wants. We heard it is because my granddaughter is such a beautiful, happy child.
“Twice I have told the adoption people that I do not want Mercy to go outside the country.
“But they keep on at us. Now they say that Mercy will be leaving us, but can return at age 18. Yet I might not be alive then.”
The Sun revealed how Madge, who also has daughter Lourdes, 11, and son Rocco, eight, was given permission to adopt Mercy last August — but had to stop when the girl’s uncle John Nglanade, 36, blocked the application.

Madonna twisted her ankle over the weekend and decided to postpone her 50th birthday celebration according to OK Magazine!.
A source said: “She [Madonna] twisted her ankle over the weekend.”She views this as a sign she should postpone the birthday bash and play it by ear instead.”
Yeah right it was a sign, she just didn’t want to put it on and have everyone asking about marriage. That and face that fact she is turning 50.

Good to know that no matter your station in life or what you do for a living, everyone wants to take advantage of a tourist and do a little price gouging. The problem with Guy and Madonna is that they hired a guy who couldn’t keep the prices straight and so now they are being investigated.Madonna and Guy own 20% of a pub called The Punchbowl which is next to their London home. Apparently, The Punchbowl has its regular customers and they get charged one set of rates for beers and food while tourists get charged about 20% more on average.
Everything worked pretty smoothly until a new guy moved into the neighborhood. One bartender knew him and knew he lived in the neighborhood and so charged him the local rate of $7 for a pint of beer. The next day he went back in and the bartender having never seen him before assumed he was a tourist and charged him $7.80 for a pint. Whoops. When the customer complained, the bar denied, denied, denied.
The manager of the pub said, “That should not be the case and it won’t be the case. As far as I’m aware, there is no change (in price). There is no difference… Everyone should be paying the same.”
Uh huh.
Sue Jones, head of trading standards at the local council, says, “In light of these allegations we will be seeking to make contact with the landlord. This may well constitute unfair trading procedures and this is something the council would look into.”
All for an extra $. Well Madonna and Guy probably need the money.

Madonna’s face looks better, but it still looks messed up. It still looks a little less swollen, but I can’t figure what is different about it.

She might be known worldwide as the Material Girl, but there’s more than a little of the small-town Michigan girl left in Madonna.
The pop superstar arrived in this northern Michigan resort town Saturday to introduce her documentary, “I Am Because We Are,” a highlight of the Traverse City Film Festival. The event was co-founded by filmmaker, author and fellow Michigan native Michael Moore.
Hundreds of fans cheered from behind barricades as Madonna, wearing a black dress, high heels and sunglasses, stepped out of a black sport utility vehicle that pulled up in front of the State Theatre. She hugged a waiting Moore, who sported an orange baseball cap, and posed for photos with him.
Madonna and Moore shared the stage at the theater before a screening of the movie, which deals with the orphans of Malawi, the African nation where she and husband Guy Ritchie adopted a son.
“It’s great bringing my movie to a place that I feel familiar,” Madonna told the audience. “Not like the Cannes Film Festival, where nobody’s speaking English, or the Tribeca Film Festival, where no one sits down.
“There’s something poetic about coming back to the place where I used to come for holidays - camping trips with my dad and stepmother and my very large family,” said the 49-year-old singer, born to the southeast in Bay City and raised in the Detroit suburb of Rochester Hills.
Madonna was accompanied by her 11-year-old daughter, Lourdes, and the film’s director, Nathan Rissman. Ritchie was not present.
Moore, who won an Oscar for his 2002 documentary “Bowling for Columbine,” said he was humbled to be able to call Madonna a friend.
“She has such an incredible heart and such a generous spirit,” he said. “She does so much out of the glare of the lights to make the world a better place.”
Madonna had praise of her own for Moore, 54, a Flint-area native who has a home near Traverse City.
“There aren’t a lot of role models for us in the world, or people we can look up to,” she said. “People who are not afraid to stick their neck out, people who are not afraid to stand up for things and be unpopular, to go against the grain, think outside the box.
“And we need, and I need, Michael Moore in my life.”
Madonna appeared amid the release of a tell-all book by her brother and speculation about her relationship with New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez. Madonna and Rodriguez both deny an affair. She did not address the dust-ups in her appearance Saturday.

Madonna and Alex Rodriguez might be distancing themselves from each other, but their common interest in Kabbalah is only growing stronger.
According to a source close to the religion, A-Rod has been assigned to Madonna’s spiritual advisor, Rabbi Eitan Yardeni, for all of his Kabbalah and spiritual needs. This speaks volumes about A-Rod’s importance to the organization, says the source.
“A-Rod is clearly bringing in enough publicity for them if he’ll actually study with Yardeni. (Yardeni) is Madonna’s direct contact. This is a very big deal,” says the source.
Yardeni did not respond to requests for comment.
What exactly will Yardeni do to help A-Rod? Says the source, “When there’s trouble with Madonna, when she needs help with a decision, (Yardeni) is dispatched. He calls the shots in her spiritual life. When she’s on tour and needs spiritual guidance, he flies to wherever he is. The same will go for A-Rod.”
So Yardeni will essentially hit the road with the Yankees? According to the source, it’s looking that way: “Basically, yes. I don’t know if he’ll be allowed in the locker room though.”

CHRISTOPHER Ciccone isn’t the only writer making a buck off Madonna this year. Her manager, Guy Oseary, is coming out in October with “Madonna: Confessions” - a 224-page coffee-table book of photos from her 2006 world tour. Don’t expect any shockers, though - she fully cooperated, helped handpick the snaps and provided quotes. The $39.95 volume is timed to hit stores just as the Material Girl’s Sticky and Sweet tour kicks off in the Meadowlands.

“The supposed scandal about [her brother] Christopher Ciccone’s book is bull[bleep],” an insider told Page Six. “She actually ghost-wrote parts of it with him, the way Princess Diana helped Andrew Morton write his book on her. That’s why there’s nothing too devastating in Chris’s book. He’s mean to others, but not so much to his sister.” In addition, Madge, now frighteningly rail thin, exploited Alex Rodriguez. “She flirted with him and manipulated him,” our source declared. “She didn’t count on wife Cynthia leaving him and naming her in the divorce, though.” Madonna is using the buzz over her relationship with A-Rod to her benefit. “She’s ordered three A-Rod Yankee jerseys she’ll wear in the finale of her upcoming shows. All of this was created to sell tickets for her tour, which hasn’t been selling so well.” A rep for Madonna didn’t return calls.

Seriously WTF is wrong with Madonna’s face? Did she get some work done or a chemical peel because it just looks swollen and like crap. You know her face looks really bad if I have to look at her arms for a distraction.

Well we know how Christopher Ciccone feels about his new book about his sister Madonna. The above quote was given to MSNBC in an interview he did about his new book. Apparently he wrote it because he needed the money and had not originally started to write it for anything other than money. But, then something happened.
He said the thought of making her squirm was what kept him going throughout the process of writing the book.
Here is what I think the whole damn thing is about. I actually think that he and Madonna are not as much on the outs as everyone has been saying. I think it is way too much of a coincidence that all these Madonna stories flooding the internet right as she launches her tour just happened to occur.
I mean what does his book reveal? Not really all that much we didn’t know in the first place. Oh sure, there have may have been some detail to the stories we all heard before, but the thing is we had heard the stories before. Christopher said he had to leave out the juicy stuff because of the lawyers and editors. I’m not buying it. Truth is a defense to defamation and if he was there, and saw it, then he doesn’t really have anything to fear. How did he time the book to coincide with her tour? If they were so on the outs how did he know she would be touring? I think the whole A-Rod thing, the book, the marriage and all of the other goodies that have been floated out there are just one massive PR blitz to sell tickets. One last masterful manipulation of the press by Madonna.
The problem is it still isn’t working and ticket sales suck.
Has anyone else noticed that Madonna has ignored the book? Madonna ignoring free press? No statements condemning it or her brother. Nothing. Just crickets.
I wouldn’t even be surprised if in the next month or so there is some Kneepads cover with both Christopher and Madonna talking about how all of this controversy has brought them together and reunited them as a family. Throw in some mystery illness of their father and you have a real tear jerker to give the world as a finale.

MADONNA’s estranged brother CHRISTOPHER CICCONE released his tell-all book about life with the superstar because he wanted to “watch her squirm”.
Ciccone published the controversial tome, Life With My Sister Madonna, earlier this month and he recently admitted that his revelations in the book left his famous older sister “very upset”.
But the 47-year-old insists the book was a watered down version of what he wanted to publish - because his lawyers forced him to omit much of the more controversial content.
He tells MSNBC.com, “There are plenty of things I left out of the book. And things that the lawyers and editors took out.”
But Ciccone still enjoyed Madonna’s reaction to the controversy.
He adds, “I will admit to a guilty pleasure in watching her squirm. (Releasing the book was like a) giant f**king orgasm. Therapy I already had; this was pure sex.”

Pop singing superstar Madonna has been diagnosed with anemia and ordered to take a break from rehearsals for her forthcoming tour, according to media reports. The singing fitness fanatic has been working out to a demanding schedule ahead of her Sticky & Sweet Tour, which kicks off next month. But the British newspaper The Sun claims the 49-year-old is now resting on doctor’s orders, after medics found she was suffering anemia, which causes a lack of oxygen in the organs. The newspaper reports that the star is also suffering a knee injury and is recuperating in the Hampton’s. A source tells the publication, “Madonna is doing less than OK. She has been rehearsing for the tour and she is totally miserable. She’s down physically and mentally. “Madonna was told to go soft on work and rehearsals, so she will now take one proper day off every week and go easy in the mornings. “She has a blood analysis done every few days, including one during last Friday’s rehearsal in front of everyone.”
Pop superstar Madonna is devastated that her brother Christopher Ciccone has written a tell-all book about her personal life, according to the singers estranged sibling. Madonna was so upset after learning last month that her younger brother was to publish the explosive book, Life With My Sister Madonna, that she reached out to her father for some comfort. Speaking on U.K. TV show GMTV today, Ciccone revealed: “We do still email but we haven’t spoken (since the book was published). “I did send her an email a week before it came out. She was very upset and expressed it to our dad, but not to me. I did send an email saying ‘I love you and I would never do anything to intentionally hurt you’.” But the 47-year-old insists he has no regrets over publishing the autobiography: “I had to write it. No matter how you look at it, it’s about me and my perspective. I don’t consider it a betrayal at all. It’s an honorable representation of our lives… I hope we can be friends again.”
Pop singer Madonna’s estranged brother Christopher Ciccone is refusing to make amends with his sister until she speaks to him as an “equal”. The brother blames Madonna’s marriage to director Guy Ritchie for creating a rift between the pair, accusing the director of homophobia. Speaking on television today to promote his book Life With My Sister Madonna, Ciccone says, “Frankly, I don’t want to talk to her unless we speak to each other as equals. That’s where it has to come from and if she stays together with her husband and that means we don’t have a relationship, as long as she’s happy, it’s cool with me.” But Ciccone admits he hasn’t given up on reuniting with his famous sister. He adds, “What I’m suggesting is that Guy’s attitude towards me needs to change, number one. And also her attitude toward me needs to change, number two… I’d like to get to know my niece and nephew better. I’d like to meet David… it will take some time for us to find our way back to a good place. I’m not sure if and when that will happen. I hope it does.”
