MADONNA grabbed GWYNETH PALTROW and gave her a steamy kiss on the lips at a boozy showbiz party, a sensational new book reveals.

A biography by the Queen of Pop’s brother claims to lift the lid on Madge’s sexual conquests, love affairs, drug-taking and rows with husband GUY RITCHIE.

And it will tell how Madonna, now 49, flirted with Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth at a glamorous New Year party thrown by leading fashion designer DONATELLA VERSACE.

The Like A Virgin singer was dancing on a table at 4am when she dragged Gwyneth up to join her.

Younger brother Christopher Ciconne will tell how he watched as the pair started dancing together.

Then — as party-goers watched in amazement — Madonna grabbed Gwynnie, pulled her to her and kissed the stunned Hollywood star full on the mouth.

Gwyneth — who is happily married to Coldplay singer CHRIS MARTIN — is not the first woman to be snogged by Madge.

She French-kissed BRITNEY SPEARS and CHRISTINA AGUILERA at the MTV Movie awards in 2003.

And Ciccone’s tell-all book — called Life With My Sister Madonna — will tell of lesbian flings and other sordid secrets of Madonna’s past when it is out later this month.

Sources say that Ciccone — an interior designer — will reveal how she took drugs with leading showbiz executives.

Ciccone, 47, will also tell all about her rocky marriage to Hollywood actor SEAN PENN.

And the explosive book will spill the beans about her rows with film director hubby Ritchie.

He will say the pair are locked in explosive rows and split by growing differences.

Their seven-year marriage is only kept together by the intervention of a rabbi who travels to their homes to act as informal counsellor.

Homesick Madonna is desperate to return permanently to New York.

But Guy, 39, is said to want to remain in Britain, seeing it as a better home for their three kids.

Ciccone — one of five of Madge’s siblings — has worked closely with Madonna in the past.

However the pair have grown further apart, and now Ciccone has decided to sign a huge deal to tell his story.

A source said: “The book is a warts-and-all account. Chris was there for all the key moments in Madonna’s life. There is no-one better placed to tell the real story behind Madonna’s public image.”

The singer’s spokeswoman said: “Madonna has not co-operated with any biography about herself.”

The book’s publication by Simon & Schuster could not come at a worse time for Madonna, who is fighting off rumours of an affair with American baseball superstar ALEX RODRIGUEZ.

Madonna yesterday ordered Rodriguez — nicknamed A-Rod — to keep silent about their relationship.

She also asked him to tell his family to “shut up” after a series of leaks revealing his wife Cynthia had fled to Paris.

A source said: “Madonna has contacted A-Rod and asked him to stay silent. She has issued a statement that they are just friends and, as far as she’s concerned, that should be it.

“Madonna is furious that other people have revealed that A-Rod’s marriage is on the rocks.

“She wants to stop the leaks and the whole thing to blow over. She told him his family must shut up.

“All of this speculation is taking its toll on her. She wants to concentrate on rehearsing for her tour and spending time with Guy.”

Rodriguez, 32, was last night said to be pleading with Cynthia to return to the US for crunch talks.

She jetted to Paris to stay with rocker pal LENNY KRAVITZ in a bid to escape the firestorm surrounding her marriage.

But sources say she is digging her heels in. One said: “She’s not ready to rush back. She feels she’s been treated pretty poorly by him.

“He wasn’t there for her following the birth of their second baby, he has been cold and distant.

“She is bemused by his sudden interest in Kabbalah.”

Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow showed off her singing talents at a charity karaoke show in London, after a $90,000 bid prompted her to take to the stage and perform. Paltrow was taking part in the Karaoke with the Stars event on Thursday night at the city’s famous Ronnie Scott’s jazz bar, helping raise money for Palestinian refugee children. The actresses offer to sing attracted the highest amount of bids, with Paltrow eventually stepping up to the microphone for a rendition of Roberta Flack’s classic “Killing Me Softly.”Model-turned-actress Lily Cole also took to the stage, joining Bryan Ferry for a performance of “Let’s Stick Together.” The event raised over $440,000 for their causes.

Gwyneth Paltrow looks positively flawless on the July 2008 cover of Harper’s Bazaar, out June 17.

In the mag, the mother-of-two talks about staying in shape: “All the negative things have actually ended up being really positive because they’ve kick-started me into thinking how I want to look for the rest of my life.”

Continued Gwyn, “And you know, I don’t want to look like a mother who doesn’t care. For myself, for my work and for my relationship, I want to look good.”

Cannes has been injected with more than a hint of Hollywood style this week as a host of stars from the world of film and music attend its film festival.

Gwyneth Paltrow lead the pack as she strolled down the red carpet to the premiere of her new film Two Lovers in a stunning black Stella McCatrney dress.

In the drama film Gwyneth plays the volatile neighbor of a depressed man (Joaquin Phoenix) who moves back in with his parents.

Phoenix, though, was unable to attend the premiere as is in hospital being treated for severe vomiting and dehydration.

Gwyneth Paltrow is looking a little unusual on the cover of the new V magazine. She generally tends to look very straight-up polished, but this is wacky for her.

In the interview she gave to V Magazine she talks about her macrobiotic diet.

I was macrobiotic for about three or four years, but when I got pregnant with Apple I wanted french fries, grilled cheese, and yoghurt, so it kind of went out the window. I couldn’t look at brown rice. It made me throw up. But being macrobiotic is basically about eating local, organic, seasonal food that isn’t processed, and that’s how I eat now, so it’s not that different. I haven’t eaten meat for about fifteen years. I eat fish, a little bit of dairy — not much milk — but I love cheese. We’ll make chocolate chip cookies and eat them, but sugar makes me feel pretty bad. I have coffee and wine. I’ve got lots of lovely vices.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s showing off a bold new look on the latest cover of V Magazine – photographed by Mario Sorrenti – and in it, the Iron Man actress spills new details about her home life, her post-baby weight loss, and her indulgence in certain chocolate-chip “vices.”

But how did she make the jump from motherhood back to movies? “I have an amazing nanny,” she tells the magazine, on newsstands May 15. “I didn’t have one till Apple was 14 months old, but then, because we were going on tour [with husband Chris Martin’s band Coldplay], we found someone fantastic. She’s been with us ever since.

Without her, “I was really tired. … [but] obsessed – madly, deeply in love – with my daughter. I wanted to be with her all day long. I was under a crazy spell. I still am, but I’ve had to adjust to reality more.”

Another rough part of parenthood? Losing the baby weight!

“I put on 40 pounds with Moses. And I found it really hard to loose the last 20 pounds,” Paltrow, 35, admits. “I didn’t mind having the big boobs. But it was the stomach roll, the back fat, and the post-pregnant butt. And it was so hard to get rid of.”

She did it with by eating “organic, seasonal food that isn’t processed.”

“I haven’t eaten meat for about fifteen years. I eat fish, a little bit of dairy – not much milk – but I love cheese,” she adds. “We’ll make chocolate chip cookies and eat them, but sugar makes me feel pretty bad. I have coffee and wine. I’ve got lots of lovely vices!”

Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow was once given a cooking lesson with chef Jamie Oliver as a birthday present.The actress was delighted with the gift, which saw the culinary expert come to her home and give her an evening of private lessons.Paltrow learned tons of kitchen skills and insists it is one of the best things she has ever done. She says, “I was given a cookery lesson with Jamie one birthday, which was the best. He came to the house and brought everything with him.”Not in (British supermarket) Sainsbury’s bags - in restaurant crates. It was phenomenal. I’d only met him in passing before. He’s such a great guy.” And Paltrow now thinks she is close to becoming a cooking expert herself. She adds, “Making your own pasta is definitely worth it. You can do a really nice cheese and walnut sauce. Toast walnuts in oil, add dolcelatte (cheese) and a bit of cream, some Parmesan cheese and butter and stir it up.” Paltrow is trying out her new skills in her own cookery show, which she is filming in Spain alongside Michelin-starred chef Mario Batali.

Gwyneth Paltrow had so much fun making summer blockbuster Iron Man, she is ready to sign up for a sequel.
But the actress confesses she has no idea if it’ll be a big enough success to warrant a second installment, because she hasn’t seen the film in it’s entirety yet.
The Oscar winner reveals, “They wouldn’t give me a DVD… Everybody seems to like it and I’ve no idea what I’m talking about…
“I think it could be an ongoing theme… I had so much fun doing it.”

Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has been left with permanent numbness in one of her legs after breaking her knee while making the new movie Iron Man. Trooper Gwyneth, tried to keep acting on through the pain, before discovering the injury needed surgery. She says, “I broke my knee - because I’m a moron and I’m always bashing into things by accident. I’ve broken my toes 30 times.”I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I bashed my knee, it really hurt.” The accident even caused a bust-up with director John Favreau, who was convinced she was exaggerating her pain: “I kept exercising and running around in the movie. Then it really started to expand. In one scene I’m running away from Ironmonger - the bad Iron Man - and I said to John, ‘My knee is really hurting, I don’t know how many times I can do this.’ He was rolling his eyes, saying ‘you’re fine’.”But I went to the doctor and I had a fracture so bad they had to do surgery the next day. They put cement in there! So I felt very smug and he apologised.”It still doesn’t feel right. I had a nerve problem. My legs don’t feel the same. Sometimes it happens with surgery. If I get a wax, one leg hurts more than the other.”

Gwyneth Paltrow has finally explained what recently inspired her to drastically change her uptight, ladylike English countryside demeanor into that of a high-class hooker using flashy props like kinky boots and see-through ass-grazing dresses. You know that standard awkward adolescent phase girls go through in middle school when they start painting on their mom’s lipstick and wearing mini-skirts so the boys will notice them? Well, according to a recent interview with British GQ, Gwyneth is officially going through that phase right now: “Paltrow admits she suffers from a lack of confidence…she is desperate to change her public image…’People think I’m aloof, or cold, or that I breathe rarefied air - that’s not me’.” So what exactly turned the former It Girl into a Debbie Downer?
Post-pregnancy depression isn’t to blame for her suddenly slutty new image, nor are rifts in her marriage to Chris Martin. Not even regret over naming her kids after fruits and religious leaders led her to this female version of a mid-life crisis. The reason? Paltrow only recently realized something the rest of the world has known for quite some time: “People came over to watch me in the film Emma and I was like, ‘Oh. My. God. I’m the worst actress ever.’” But Gwyneth really shouldn’t be that hard on herself. Sure, she won an Oscar for weeping in a rowboat, and can certainly provoke emotion from us in varied performances (mainly discomfort and the need to squirm in our seats whenever she begins to fake-cry), but she should at least treat herself to a viewing of that stripper movie Lindsay Lohan won a Razzie for. That way she can safely remove that “ever” from her pity-me quotes in the future.

Gwyneth Paltrow had been on her best behavior for the entire promotional tour for Iron Man and so the executives at Paramount wanted to say thanks. They asked her if they could throw her a party, and she said, “yes.” They asked her what kind of booze she wanted at the party and she gave them an answer. They asked her which of her friends and family she wanted invited, and she told them. Paramount even arranged separate red carpets so she could make sure she wasn’t photographed with her husband. Total cost for the party $120,000. 30 of her closest friends and family were there including her in-laws.

Where was Gwyneth? She decided that she would rather go out to dinner with her husband and Robert Downey Jr. That’s right. She blew the party off and Paramount wasn’t happy. Gwyneth said she never promised to be there. Just because you don’t use the word promise doesn’t make it better. She knew perfectly well they were expecting her to show up and her family was expecting her to show up. Apparently Gwyneth though is getting a little of that diva again. It’s been so long since she was in a movie that made more than $5, she is going to milk this Iron Man thing for all it is worth. She better hope it is a huge hit.
