Hopefully, the third time will be the charm for Drew Barrymore — she and Justin Long are talking marriage.

On May 10, they were overheard making arrangements while eating a late lunch at Hugo’s in West Hollywood.

According to fellow diner Jose Sandoval, Justin was trying to persuade Drew to go ring shopping with him later that day: “The tables are close together, so it’s kind of hard not to overhear things,” Sandoval says. “She said she wanted to find a wedding planner and he said they should look at engagement rings that day. But Drew said, ‘You know what I like, surprise me.’ They seemed very happy.”

The duo has been inseparable since they started dating in August 2007, after meeting on the set of He’s Just Not That Into You. While Justin, 30, has never been married, Drew, 33, was briefly wed to bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994 and to comedian Tom Green from 2001 to 2002.

In March, Drew told Oprah, “This relationship is great; it’s healthy and… full of humor.” Hugo’s is one of Justin and Drew’s favorite restaurants. An insider tells In Touch that the couple eats there regularly. Drew and Justin were seen leaving Hugo’s on May 10: “They didn’t stop smiling.”

So yesterday at around lunchtime, Drew Barrymore was driving and another car plowed into her. Instead of getting out and exchanging information, the guy took off. Well, Drew being Drew gave chase. I’m just wondering if when Drew was driving if she popped in the theme music from Charlie’s Angels as she sped around West Hollywood. She called Bosley and gave him the license plate number, and then chatted with Cameron and Lucy in a 3 way call while she made turn after turn in an effort to catch the bad guy. You would think OnStar would just go ahead and have some kind of feature which would automatically kill anyone who hits your car and then leaves. Runaway grocery cart? No problem, Once it hits your car, OnStar senses it, tracks back where it came from and leaves granny twitching in the parking lot. OK, so maybe this action thing went just a little far, but if someone can start your car from across the planet, they should be able to taser someone who just rammed it.

Unlike the movies though, Drew didn’t catch the bad guy. She did get his license plate number. I mean the guy has no excuse, but still to have Drew Barrymore chasing you would be really scary if maybe you were new to the country and thought she really did die in Scream. You hit a car, and you are scared. You don’t know what to do, and the next thing you know you have a Charlie’s Angel coming after you.

Drew wasn’t hurt in the incident or the car chase, although her Mac took a bit of jostling, but Justin Long went ahead and fixed it. I was going for the whole double entendre thing with that.

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long are secretly planning to marry in the Caribbean later this year, according to a source who overheard the couple planning the ceremony over a recent lunch date.

I think they make a cute couple but Drew’s been married twice before. I think maybe she loses interest in people or something. I don’t know.

Doesn’t Justin Long look like he’s 18 years old? Whenever I see him I picture him when he did that TV show Ed, and ever since then he’s just a teenie bopper to me. I don’t know why.

Drew Barrymore recently complained to friends over her dissatisfaction with her iPhone. The Charlie’s Angels star doesn’t have the heart to tell her boyfriend, Mac Spokesperson Justin Long, that she wants to go back to her old phone. Barrymore explained that she enjoys watching YouTube videos like the  sneezing panda whenever she feels blue its just that her Blackberry is her Blackberry and she needs it back. One of Barrymore’s friend thought that the iPhone and the Blackberry pretty much did the same thing to which an angry Barrymore replied, “The iPhone is good and all, but the Blackberry is like the phone that God would use if God ever had to make a conference call.”

DREW Barrymore can now add Playboy photographer to her credits. The actress, an amateur photographer in her free time, borrowed a camera from the house fotog at Saturday’s Playboy Golf lingerie party and started snapping away at Bunnies. “One Bunny was bent over, balancing teacups on her butt that Andy Milonakis had placed there, and Drew said, ‘I have to get this shot,’ ” said our spy.

Hollywood star Drew Barrymore is donating $1 million to the United Nations World Food Program to help feed children in impoverished Africa. The star announced her huge money gift on Monday’s edition of Oprah Winfrey’s hit television talk show. Barrymore has traveled to Kenya twice with the organization, which she has worked with since 2005, and last year she became a U.N. Ambassador Against Hunger. The 33-year-old told Winfrey, “I have seen with my own eyes what a difference a simple cup of nutritious porridge can make in a child’s life. It helps them learn, stay healthy and sets them on track for a bright future.”

Drew Barrymore’s longtime pal and production partner at Flower Films, Nancy Juvonen, has approved of the actress” romance with Justin Long because he’s a ‘good person’. Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore has called on tinseltowns troubled stars to “pull it together” because she hates watching young celebrities self-destruct in the public eye. The actress, who had two stints in rehab when she was 13 and 14, claims stars such as Britney Spears have to actually want to conquer their demons before they can get the help they need. She tells Vogue magazine, “I think I had some mechanism in my head that said, ‘If you don’t pull it together, no one else will.’ That’s coming from a person who had to try it all … and who still loves a good time.” But Barrymore insists she never let her career focus slip during her wild years. She adds, “I do believe in ‘work hard, play hard’, but ‘work hard’ always comes first, and it did even when I was wild and young.”
