Would you go see a musical about Victoria and David Beckham? Well you might have a chance to do that because a theater company in Dublin, Ireland is putting one called MacBecks according to OK!. 

“We’re very excited by the script,” says Ronan Smith of Long Road Productions, which is behind the staging of the satirical sing-song affair. “It borrows from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, King Lear and Romeo & Juliet.”According to reports, Posh will be portrayed as an ambitious Lady Macbeth for whom husband David sacrifices his career.

For a meet-and-greet with Beckham, Jeanne Kelly bid $7,000 at a Feb. 2 charity auction at the home of Rudy Giuliani’s former finance chairman, Michael Gooch, to benefit Charley’s Fund, which raises money to cure Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

The package, a present for Kelly’s son, Conor’s, birthday, was to include round-trip flights and two nights at an LA hotel for them both, with Beckham to meet the boy and sign a jersey for him. Mother and child were also promised two VIP field seats to Saturday night’s Galaxy game.
The Kellys were scheduled to leave last Friday. But, Kelly says, she got a call Tuesday from Darren Brown at Charity Sports Auctions, which sold the package to Charley’s Fund, saying it was canceled. “They told me there was a breach of security and David’s not doing it,” Kelly told Page Six.

She has not been refunded her money, and neither has her sister, Diane, who bought the same $7,000 package for her 13-year-old son. “They’re keeping us in the dark,” said Kelly. “Conor is heartbroken. He said, ‘Doesn’t Beckham know it’s my birthday present?’ He is my son’s hero.”

Kelly says she feels awkward about asking for the money back because it went to charity. “It puts me in a funny spot,” she said.

Brown told us Charity Sports Auctions got the Beckham package from the LA-based entertainment group ACE. Max Soto, the president of ACE, told Page Six the event has just “been postponed,” adding, “It was never intended to be promoted on David alone. There were internal issues.”
Beckham’s agent, Jeff Raymond, says neither Beckham nor the Galaxy was even informed of the event and, “It’s unfortunate they lost their money. David would never not honor charity he was supposed to do.”

David Beckham is quite possibly one of only a handful of athletes that I have ever heard talking publicly about his feminine side. In the launch of his new porn, I mean underwear campaign, he was asked whether he actually wore the Armani underwear he is seen posing in. His reply?“I always wear the Armani underwear,” Beckham said. “I’ve worn it in every game since joining the Galaxy.” He loves the Emporio Armani underwear “because it is comfortable. It’s masculine but it has that feminine side.”

Wow. The guys in the locker room are going to give him crap about that last part. I’m happy that he is happy. I didn’t know he enjoyed the feeling of wearing a feminine pair of underwear. Perhaps he and Victoria share clothes at home? Maybe he wears his hair so short so he can wear wigs and they can play dress up together.

Perhaps I am jealous of his body? Oh, I am for sure. Not just of his body. Hell. His life. I do know that if I wore those underwear though that I would look ridiculous and that wearing clothes over them wouldn’t help. I do think someone should find a bunch of guys my size or just average size and have them all pose the same way Becks does and then see how many pairs they sell.

The rail-thin former Posh Spice was at STK the other night for a dinner with designer Marc Jacobs, who features her in his ads. “She wouldn’t order anything herself. She wouldn’t address the waiter. She had her assistant order for her,” said our spy. Posh might have suffered from low-blood sugar. “She had to be escorted to the ladies’ room by security, she was so wobbly,” said our witness. But her rep said, “She walked out with her girlfriends arm in arm - not for support but for fun. The rest of it’s not true.”

America’s new sexy man David Beckham has beat off competition from Ashton Kutcher and Ryan Phillippe to land the title of America’s sexiest man. English soccer star Beckham was voted top of a poll of male celebrities by OK! Magazine, which aimed to find America’s top “man candy”. The 33-year-old took first place, while Hollywood hunks Kutcher and Phillippe only managed eighth and 26th respectively. Phillippe was also beaten by American Idol judge Simon Cowell who was voted number 25, despite being nearly 20 years older than the sexy actor.

For the first time in months Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Victoria and David Beckham were photographed together and by the looks of that picture we will not see them all together anytime soon. Look at Katie and Victoria’s body language, neither want to be next to each other. Even through all that horrible eye makeup you can actually see emotion in Katie’s eyes and that emotion is disdain. Team Cruise and Team Beckham reunited on the red carpet last night at the social event of the season, the annual Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala, which drew a who’s who roll call of international stars.

The quartet put aside rumours of a rift as they posed up together at the glamorous event, but in typical fashion, Posh did her best to steal the spotlight in a see-through white Armani dressing coat.

But with her usual bob swept up into a carefully set chignon and heavily painted face, Victoria’s attempt at Old Hollywood glamour was rather too literal, leaving her looking well beyond her 34 years.

And pout-prone Posh appeared more glum than ever - perhaps it was the pressure of competing with a host of Hollywood actress and supermodels that prompted her look of disdain.

Katie Holmes, who also wore Armani, didn’t fare much better in the style stakes, leaving onlookers shocked and awed at her bright orange dress and cobalt blue stiletto combination.

The extravaganza, billed as Manhattan’s rival to the Oscars, marked the opening the museum’s Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy exhibition, a theme that delighted the ever-excitable Mr. Cruise.

“I’ve always just loved comic books,” he said as he arrived. “I dig those characters.”

David Beckham has been given a penalty, but not the kicking kind.

The Los Angeles Galaxy star got a traffic ticket when he was pulled over Tuesday in Hollywood, spokesman Glenn Lehrman said.

Beckham, known for his eerily accurate long-range free kicks, was driving a Cadillac Escalade when a motorcycle-riding sheriff’s deputy stopped him.

“There was a traffic incident that took place,” Lehrman said. “It was a minor offense and David complied with the officer.”

Lehrman declined to say why Beckham, 32, was pulled over. No one else was in his car, Lehrman said.

Sheriff’s Department spokesman Deputy Hugo Macias said his office had no information immediately available about the ticket.

The photos that first revealed a friendship between Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham left people scratching their heads at what the two could possibly have in common. If, two years later, the answer still isn’t clear, look no further than the current issue of Life & Style, which claims the friends share an affinity for splitting low-calorie meals meant for one.

The magazine reports that during a recent outing to Madeo, the duo shared a green salad sans dressing, one piece of fish and one side of steamed spinach. They also ordered one regular Coke and two glasses of ice.

“Katie poured half the soda into each of their glasses, then filled up the rest with bottled water,” a Madeo regular told the magazine.

 Compared to the flight into Hearthrow, Victoria Beckham dressed down (kind of) as she catches a flight back to LA with two of her boys, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3.  The whole family cheered on Becks in Paris during the France-England soccer match.
