Britney Spears should be good at go-karting considering all the speeding offences she racked up over the years.

The singer was being filmed racing around a Californian indoor track over the weekend as part of her behind-the-scenes DVD soon to be released.

Wearing a black balaclava and orange helmet over her long blonde locks, Britney didn’t hold back as she recorded high speeds on the 1000ft-long Dromo 1 track.

The scent - described in a press release as being “all about expressing the many, mysterious sides of a woman” - will hit stores January 2009.

In the television ad, Spears, 26, will appear through trees in a forest and ask, “What do you have to hide?”

Spears already has six perfumes: Curious, Fantasy, In Control, Midnight Fantasy, Believe and Curious Heart.

Her original, Curious, earned $100 million in sales in the five weeks after its 2004 release.

The singer has been hard at work on her next album, Circus, which will drop Dec. 2 (her 27th birthday).

The first single, Womanizer, premiered on NYC’s Z100 radio station Sept. 26.

The video - which a source describes to Usmagazine.com as being full of “erotic choreography” - debuts Friday night on 20/20.

Adnan Ghalib confirms that not only does he have a sex tape with Britney Spears, but that he is willing to sell it for the right price according to  The Sun.

“There is such a tape, but I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical enquiries.

“Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further.”

An unconfirmed source claims the two-hour X-rated footage features Britney naked wearing just a pink wig and was allegedly shot in Mexico.

Britney Spears is following in the footsteps of fellow celebrities George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson and Kate Moss by offering her body to raise money for charity on internet auction site eBay.

Earlier in the year, George and Scarlett famously auctioned dates with themselves on the site for Cancer Research. Last year, Kate Moss was a clothes horse for the one-off Swarovski Crystal dress sold on eBay.co.uk to raise money for charity Fashion Rocks. Now Britney has posed in her underwear for artist Daniel Maltzman who has created a work of art to sell for charity. The painting will be auctioned to raise money for The Promises Foundation - a charity which helps low-income mums and their children.

Bidding for the life size picture, signed by Spears, currently stands at $12,200 and is expecting to reach in excess of $15, 000 once the auction closes at 8pm tomorrow.

Britney Spears may perform on UK’s X Factor singing competition, Simon Cowell told Extra.

“I think Britney Spears is going to perform,” the show’s judge said.

“We didn’t get her,” he explained. “She’s got a record coming out. We have the number one show in England. It’s the best show for her to perform on.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have her,” he raved. “She’s a hugely talented person… She’s the number one booking in the world at the moment for a show.”

Earlier this month, Spears opened the MTV Video Music Awards.

On Wednesday, the singer’s rep confirmed she’s unloading her six-bedroom, six-bathroom Studio City, Calif., home for $7.9 million.

You remember Alli Sims don’t you? She was the assistant to Britney who people also thought was Britney’s cousin. Later she kept selling out Britney and then has tried to make it as a singer. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had also been sleeping with Kevin.

Anyway, during her year by Britney’s side she collected some swag. She probably would have got a lot more, but lets face it, Britney wasn’t exactly being invited everywhere during the year Alli was with her. Also, Alli doesn’t appear to have convinced Britney or whoever had the money to buy her anything. Basically what she has is a bunch of year old stuff from various gift bags and now she’s trying to sell it. Instead of going the eBay route and attracting some worldwide attention and money, from people who might be crazy enough to buy it, she instead has gone the local garage sale/flea market route.

The first week she set up her little area she got like 20 people visiting according to Life & Style and barely sold anything. Apparently costume jewelery and used bikinis are not big sellers at those kinds of places. How did flea markets get their names anyway? Is it because the stuff people sold had fleas in it? Were fleas once a commodity and people bought and sold them like stocks? Who was responsible for keeping the fleas in one place?

Anyway, Alli needs the money and since she isn’t famous enough really to get on any of the current D list ensemble reality shows she either needs to get a real job or mooch off the fame of Britney for as long as possible. Guess which she is choosing.

Britney Spears’ label recently announced that Spears will release her sixth studio album, “Circus” on Dec. 2.

While some might consider the new work a marker of Spears’ improving health, some close to Spears fear that now that the worst seems to be over, she’s going to be treated as little more than a cash cow.

“Britney has been going to the studio ever since she got out of the hospital, but it was more a therapeutic exercise than anything,” says a source close to the Spears family. “The people who really care about her knew that even though she wants to be the pop star she used to be, it won’t be good for her. Even her label, Jive, understood that. It’s a little unsettling to us that they’d want her to get back to recording so fast.”

There’s also the question of how the album can be put together so quickly. One source close to Jive says that the swift turnaround won’t be an issue.

“She’s not Paul Simon. As long as it’s produced well and has a good beat, she’ll have a hit,” says the source. “Really, the quicker we do it, the better it will be. You shouldn’t overthink some things.”

The first single, Womanizer will be available next week and we will finally get to see/hear if she is really making a comeback!
