Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt enjoyed a family outing to the beach in the south of France this weekend, accompanied by U2 guitarist The Edge.The superstars moved into Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s villa in St Jean Cap Ferrat for the summer, along with their adopted children Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara and biological daughter Shiloh.The pair took the opportunity to visit U2 stars Bono and The Edge whose real name David Howell Evans, last weekend. WHEN ritzy Hollywood Hills neighbors of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie fumed over the paparazzi parade lurking outside their gated community, The Oaks, authorities responded by restricting parking. Now residents of nearby Franklin Village “are outraged” because the shutterbug swarm has come to their less glamorous streets, according to Animalnewyork.com. One local is even organizing neighbors to fight against those “up the hill.” Pitt told Page Six: “This is the first I’ve heard of this, which tells me it’s mostly not true. I have lived and worked in the same location off and on since 1995 and have never had any problems with my neighbors, only paparazzi and those who peddle in sensationalism.”

Pregnant Angelina Jolie was rushed to the doctor after her legs swelled due to ankle injury.

The “Tomb Raider” star, who is reportedly pregnant with twins with partner Brad Pitt, had been in Texas filming her movie “Tree of Life” at the time of the injury. She had then decided to fly home to Los Angeles to have her own doctor check the swelling.

An insider tells Life & Style magazine, “At first she thought it was just a twisted ankle or something. But everyone was worried because of the pregnancy and previous problems she’s had with leg swelling. Angelina didn’t want to take any chances, and everyone agreed. Brad was really worried.”

However, the 32-year-old star’s injury turned into something more serious during her flight to Burbank, California.

The insider continues, “Her legs were swelling and she was getting really wobbly and starting to feel sick.”

The pain grew unbearable for Jolie so she and partner Pitt considered an emergency landing in their private Gulfstream jet. “Angelina’s medical team had advised her to head to the nearest medical facility if the situation got worse.”

Jolie had apparently insisted they continue on to L.A. so her own doctor could see her. Their jet landed at Burbank airport where her physician, along with other security personnel, had been waiting for her. The couple were rushed home afterwards.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning a secret summer wedding – and the event could lead to a reconciliation between Angelina and her estranged actor father Jon Voight.

A famously private couple, Brad and Angelina have shunned a big celebrity-packed affair for an intimate and non-religious ceremony at their retreat in Santa Barbara in early June, with only close family and friends present.

And I’m told Angelina – who has been estranged from Voight since 2002 after a family rift – has handed her father an olive branch and asked him to walk her down the aisle.

“Since they started talking by phone in January, Angie has thought about asking Jon to give her away,” a friend says.

“When Angie and Brad started seriously discussing a wedding, the issue of Angie reconciling with her dad came up again and again.

“Angie came around after her brother intervened and strongly urged her to bury the hatchet.”

Although a quiet wedding is planned, there will be a smattering of stars.

“George Clooney and Matt Damon will be going, but other than a few film executive friends, it will be a Hollywood-free zone,” adds the friend.

“Angelina and Brad want a low-key ceremony. No one will know it’s a wedding until they arrive.

“Instead, they are billing it as a summer barbecue and joint birthday party for Angie and daughter Shiloh.

“Brad is picking out cases of his favourite wine from nearby Santa Maria and Paso Robles and Angelina is busy organizing the cake.”

Sean Penn and the Jolie-Pitts all living under the same roof? For a brief time, such thing was a possibility.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and kids set up camp in Texas for nearly a month as Pitt filmed “Tree of Life.” Penn, who also stars in the film, arrived on set last week, and if the cost of Pitt’s accommodations hadn’t been an issue, Pitt and Penn might have both ended up staying at the same place.

Penn last week checked into the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa, near Austin, Texas. He stayed under an assumed name, and there’s no word on whether he was accompanied by anoyone when he checked into the hotel’s Governor’s Suite, which is 1,200-square-feet with two bedrooms and a full kitchen.

And before the Jolie-Pitt clan arrived in town, a member of the film’s production company looked into having the family stay at the resort, but Pitt’s people balked at the price. Sources familiar with the inquiry say that Pitt was interested in the Litton House, a 2,600-square-foot residence separate from the main property, which costs about $2,000 a night. Pitt’s offer, via the production company, was reportedly only $3,000 for a 30-day stay. That’s a whopping 95 percent discount. (The Jolie-Pitt’s opted instead to rent a house near the shooting location.)

Why would Pitt need to cut costs? It’s got nothing to do with his expanding brood, but rather the budget for “Tree of Life.” Despite the film’s big-name stars, “Tree” is more indie film than anything, and gained early notoriety when Pitt stepped in to fill the role that was supposed to have been played by Heath Ledger. In fact, most of the cast and crew are staying in rented homes in historic Smithville, Texas, according to the source.

All that said, Pitt and Jolie might be doing business with the Hyatt after all. A source said that Jolie has been in touch with property managers about holding a big fundraising event there.

Just two days after marriage rumors were denied - Brad, Angelina and their kids (minus Shiloh) were spotted shopping in Houston, Texas. Looks like Maddox, 6 1/2, Pax, 4 1/2, and Zahara, 3, got some good snacks and video games. Angelina looks great - The Sun reported that she has developed gestational diabetes. Star is reporting that Angelina and Brad wedded in a New Orleans church yesterday. According to our close source, “The family spent a weekend in New Orleans two weeks ago, as Pitt broke ground on his Make It Right project to help rebuild the city’s Lower Ninth Ward, but no wedding has ever taken place.” Jolie, who stars in the action film Wanted, opening in June, is reportedly expecting twins and is due later this year.

One magazine editor who asked to remain anonymous said, “It’s at the point now where some stars might decide to have more kids just to collect the money from their photos.”

Pregnant stars are now “treating this like a game,” said National Enquirer Executive Editor Barry Levine.

“It’s become big business now,” Levine said. “It’s outrageous, they’ve gotten very sophisticated. The rights are bought up now even before the celeb enters the hospital. They hire extra security so it’s impossible to obtain a photo illegally.”

Levine said stars now realize that having a child is “akin to getting a role in a movie.” And the glossies don’t mind paying because they recoup the money over time with magazine sales, Web hits, and by re-selling the photos overseas.

Angelina Jolie, rumored to be carrying twins, could nab up to $10 million for selling the first exclusive photos of the babies, Levine estimates.
“That’s where the market is right now,” he said. “When I was the editor of Star in LA, we bought photos of Lisa Marie Presley’s baby back in 1989 for $100,000, and at the time I thought it was outrageous. American Media Editorial Director Bonnie Fuller said the payouts just keep escalating. “If J.Lo really did get $6 million, then I think Angelina can now command $8 million,” Fuller said. “The magazines must look at it as a long-term investment, but I think it’ll cap out at a certain point.”
Halle Berry, who just gave birth to a baby girl, falls below Jolie in terms of interest. “I can’t think at this point who could command more money than Brangelina,” said Fuller.

Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are proving their good hearts by donating over $8 million to charity.The couple are very well known for their work for good causes as Jolie is a United Nations goodwill ambassador while Pitt has been devoting much of his time to helping victims of Hurricane Katrina, which devastated New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2005.The pair also set up their own charitable organization called the Jolie Pitt Foundation, in 2006, with Jolie donating $4.1 million and Pitt giving $4.4 million to the fund.The foundation poured out $2.4 million in 2006 alone with money going to charities including Doctors Without Borders and the Global AIDS Alliance. In addition, Jolie and Pitt donated $137,000 to the Namibia Red Cross as an apology for the media circus that descended on the country when Jolie gave birth to their daughter Shiloh there in 2006.

Back in January, Star magazine reported that Angelina was expecting twins, now In Touch reports they are not only having twins - but a boy and a girl!

Angelina had an ultrasound done Friday by Dr. Jason Rothbart - the same ob-gyn, that delivered Shiloh in Namibia, Africa. Ange wants him to deliver the twins, even if she gives birth in France. “It means a lot to her to deliver her babies with him, no matter where in the world she gives birth,” says a friend.

A source tells the magazine, “Because she took fertility treatments to help her ovulate, her babies are fraternal. They’re ecstatic. She can’t wait.”

Angelina Jolie may be heavily pregnant, but that hasn’t stopped her from getting stuck into some manual labor.

Jolie and Brad Pitt took time out from Hollywood glamour to take part in charity work for the victims of hurricane Katrina.

The happy couple joined former president Bill Clinton for the “Make a difference, make a commitment” Campaign in New Orleans.

Jolie showed off her growing baby bump, looking relaxed in a hippie-inspired maxi dress, as doting father-to-be Brad Pitt helped the 600 volunteers clean up the neighbourhood devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

The massive project was organised by Brad Pitt’s Make it Right Foundation aided by the Clinton Global Initiative.

The actress is reportedly expecting twins, with sources saying she and partner Brad Pitt are “absolutely ecstatic” at the prospect.

Twins will mean the Angelina and Brad will be parents to six children. The family currently consists of Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and biological daughter Shiloh, 1.
