There are stained-glass windows at the front and back, 10 wooden pews and an old wood floor. There’s also a rustic wooden altar with beautiful ivory candles.” And the publication claims Pitt actually tried to buy the property, complete with its chapel, but owner Tom Bove refused to sell. A source reveals, “Brad did everything he could to change his mind - he took him to dinner five times before he (Bove) would even agree to lease it for six months.” Reports suggest Pitt fell for Miraval while surveying properties in France by helicopter.The idyllic retreat features a recording studio which has been used by Pink Floyd and Sting, among others, extensive woodlands, an olive grove, gardens, ponds and fountains. The estate is also surrounded by a moat.The property’s impressive wine cellars were reportedly built by Joseph Lombot, who invented reinforced concrete.

Aahh good times. Oh, hi. You caught me looking through a photo album. Yeah, after reading some of Angelina Jolie’s recent interview with Entertainment Weekly she reminded me of all the good times my family had while we sat around and watched my mother pump her breasts for milk for my baby sister. What? You didn’t do this? Of course you didn’t because it’s insane.Angelina Jolie has decided though that her entire family should participate when she pumps.

“They’re old enough to feel included to change diapers themselves, to feed bottles themselves, like if I pump into a bottle. We’re trying to find ways where it can be a fun group thing … Everybody gets special time so we can make sure we know where they’re at.”

A fun group thing? When I think of family activities I think of picnics or going to the zoo. Obviously Angie Jo and I are on different pages here. How exactly does this turn into a group thing? One kid holds the pump while another massages mommy’s breast while another holds the video camera while yet another goes in for leftovers? And what the hell does she mean by special time. I know there is an ellipse in the quote so I am hoping to hell though that it is not referring to something involving her pumping. How could that be made special? I’m not sure I really want to hear the explanation though.

At signing to promote the latest album by his group, The Boxmasters, Billy Bob Thornton told the press that his ex-wife Angelina Jolie probably still wants to get back together after all these years. Thornton explained that Jolie is in the midst of a phase and that she’ll quickly come to her senses and they’ll get back together soon enough. Thornton said, “She’s just going through a high school phase. You know dating the quarterback of the football team with Brad Pitt over there. She’ll be waking up from that dream in no time. Who knows if I’ll be there when she’s ready to come to her senses though.” Thornton added that they all come back, but he’s not a fan of repeats.

A day before Angelina Jolie’s 33rd birthday, Brad Pitt dropped more than $50,000 on art in Switzerland.

On Tuesday, Pitt was chauffeured in a BMW to Switzerland’s Art Basel fair, where he spent more than two hours snapping up goodies.

He bought two bronze chairs designed by Max Lamb (at $25,000 a pop!), a fair attendee tells Usmagazine.com.

He also scored a foam and fiberglass “Family Lamp” (see below) and reportedly a $293,000 table.

“He’s really interested in architecture and design,” the onlooker says of Pitt (who posed in photos with Ambra Medda, the director of Design Miami/Basel).

Jolie said Pitt’s passion for arts and architecture first attracted her to him.

“I don’t see him as an actor,” she recently told Vanity Fair. “I see him very much as a dad, as somebody who loves travel and architecture more than being in movies.”

Sexy Hollywood star Brad Pitt is planning a new eco-friendly five-star hotel in Dubai.The actor’s Graft architecture company has teamed with local developer Zabeel properties for the new project.The high end resort will have 800 rooms, and Pitt promises it will be socially conscious and environmentally sustainable, following on from his work rebuilding New Orleans after horrible Hurricane Katrina. Pitt says,”While acting is my career, architecture is my passion.”Selecting this development as my first major construction project has been a simple decision. They not even born, but a glimpse of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins is already worth $15 million - and counting.

A bidding war has broken out in the US between People magazine and OK! for the first exclusive pictures of the couple’s babies, according to reports.

A spokesperson for the American edition of OK! declined to comment on the dollar figure, but did tell TMZ they would be ‘foolish’ not to be in the running.

A People representative said: ‘We’d love to see the photos in PEOPLE. We wish the family well.’

The price is eclipsing the record amount paid for pictures of the couple’s first biological child Shiloh in 2006 - People magazine paid more than $4.1 million for the North American rights, while British magazine Hello! obtained the international rights for $3.5 million.

The profits were donated to a charity by the couple, who are also parents to Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, and Zahara, 3.

The rumour mill was in overdrive late last week with claims the actress had delivered two girls named Isla Marcheline and Amelie Jane Jolie-Pitt in France.

Respected U.S. TV show Entertainment Tonight claimed that Jolie went into labour on Sunday where she has been living with partner Brad Pitt, 44.

However a rep for Jolie denied the reports, saying: ‘Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France.’

The 32-year-old recently told Vanity Fair that being pregnant makes her feel sexier than ever.

The Tomb Raider star, who appears on the cover in a smouldering Barbarella-inspired shoot, told the magazine: ‘I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing.

‘Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depending on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.’

She also told the publication her romance with Brad caught her completely off guard.

‘Then I met Brad, everything I wasn’t looking for, but the best man, the best father I could possibly wish for, you know?

For now, the actress, 32, is just enjoying her pregnancy.

She opens up in July’s Vanity Fair about being pregnant, raising an international family, their 2-year-old daughter Shiloh and how they annoy their children.

On being pregnant:
“I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depending on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.”

On her international family:

On Shiloh’s birth:
“We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing…. I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.”

On nannies:
“We don’t ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they’re also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady’s a Vietnamese teacher — wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Belgium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs.”

On raising her children:
“Artists raise their kids differently. We communicate to the point where we probably annoy our children. We have art around the house, we have books, we go to plays, we talk. Our focus is art and painting and dress-up and singing. It’s what we love. So I think you can see how artists in some way raise other artists.”

The talented actress confirmed earlier this week that she and partner Brad Pitt are expecting twins later this year. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twin girls likely will be fraternal, not identical.

Jolie mentioned this to me on Thursday night at the Paramount Pictures/DreamWorks party for “Kung Fu Panda,” in which she co-voices animated characters with Dustin Hoffman and Jack Black.

The stunning actress said “there was a line” on the sonogram that indicates her daughters are not going to be perfect copies of each other.

Jolie and Pitt are here in Cannes for many reasons, starting with her two movies in competition: “Panda,” and Clint Eastwood’s “The Changeling” (the latter debuts on Tuesday night).

Just as they were here last year for her “A Mighty Heart,” and his “Ocean’s Thirteen,” the couple causes a sensation wherever they go in this small resort town.

The difference, though, is that last year they were stationed at the ultra-swanky Hotel du Cap. This year, they and their four kids are said to have taken up residence in the nearby private mansion of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. It’s where they will stay until Jolie gives birth. And from the looks of things, that will be sooner rather than later.

Her double pregnancy has done nothing to diminish Jolie’s beauty. Indeed, almost to ratify her movie-star status, while her body has rounded out immensely, her face seems almost unchanged. It’s as if she’s only padded for film purposes.

At the party, I related to her how many people seemed to be needed when my twin nieces came home from the hospital eight years ago. Eight adults didn’t seem to be enough for all the diaper changes, burpings and feedings.

“Oh, my God,” Jolie exclaimed, “and we haven’t even hired a baby nurse yet!”

Pitt, overhearing the conversation, chimed in: “We’re doing it in reverse: have two adults and six kids!”

For the record, they also haven’t picked names yet. But since so far their kids’ name choices have been big hits — Maddox, Zahara, Pax and Shiloh — my guess is they’ve got an interesting list cooking somewhere in their minds.

Almost more importantly, we also talked about the couple’s charitable foundation, which this column was first to write about some months ago. Some celebrities simply make announcements. Pitt and Jolie have followed through with astounding donations equaling $8 million or so for various Third World causes, including an orphanage in Cambodia.

“You have to see it,” Jolie implored me, her famous round eyes getting even bigger and more expressive. “It’s amazing.”

And “Brangelina” is amazing. In person, they remain blindingly attractive, the last real movie stars. And while I disagreed with their birth adventure in Namibia a couple of years ago, Pitt and Jolie have surprised even this cynical reporter with their devotion to doing good works without any modus operandi.

They’re not pushing a religion, cult or scheme. They’re just trying to give something back to the world. That, dear fans, is what’s “amazing.”

In an interview that took place in Cannes on Wednesday with the Today show’s Natalie Morales, airing tonight on Access Hollywood and tomorrow on Today, Angelina Jolie confirmed the baby news that has been rumored for months.

The twins will be the couple’s 5th & 6th children.

Angelina confirmed the news in a side-by-side interview with Jack Black — they are promoting their new Dreamworks animated film, Kung Fu Panda.

Jack was the first to let the news slip, and then Angelina followed up with her own confirmation.

“You’re gonna have as many as (the) ‘Brady Bunch’ when you have these,” Jack joked. “It’s confirmed? Is it two?”, Natalie asked. “Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already,” Angelina responded. “Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.” “Is that true?”, Jack said jokingly. “Yeah, you did,” Angelina replied.“Sorry,” Jack concluded. “So you’re having twins?”, Natalie asked, as Angelina nodded with a ‘yes.’“Do you know the sexes of the babies”, Natalie asked. “Or, are you keeping that private?” “We would like to keep that private,” Angelina said. “Are you going to stay here in France to deliver?”, Natalie also asked at one point. “Possibly,” Angelina replied. Angelina also talked extensively with Natalie about her family — how her kids are all very proud of where they’re each from.

While the Brangelina gang hangs out in the south of France awaiting the arrival of their newest members, a couple of the Pitt-Jolie kids got a sneak peek at what’s in store.

According to E! Online, Angelina scheduled a sonogram over the weekend, and Brad brought 7-year-old Maddox and 4-year-old Pax for a virtual meet-and-greet with their siblings-to-be.

“Angie was due for a scan and they thought it would be cool to do it on Mother’s Day and take Maddox and Pax along to see the twins for themselves on the sonogram machine,” a family insider told E! News.

Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, who’ll turn 2 later this month, stayed behind while their brothers shared the rare tot opportunity. The source said the outing was just another example of Brad and Angie’s hands-on approach to parenthood.

“Brad and Angelina are very big on explaining things in a very simple way to their kids and they want the kids to feel included in the process of her pregnancy. Having them see the babies for themselves was a really exciting day out for them all.”
