So, there I was with my little cart ready to zip off for a business trip and guess who walks into the elevator? None other than Ben Affleck! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been living out here in LA for a quite few years now and I finally had my first celebrity sighting. It was great. I kept my cool. I wanted to tell him that I was such a fan of his work, but the only movie I could think of was Forces Of Nature and I only sorted of remembered it. I think I saw it one time on cable. So, we just sort of went up to the second floor and nodded in agreement with each other a lot. It was great cause I was in an elevator with a big deal actor, but I just thought I was going to have a lot to say to him, that’s all. Now, as I sit, looking back on the incident, I could come up with ten million things to talk about. Hindsight is always 20/20, as a wise man once said. Well, off to the company mixer.

The couple, who have a daughter Violet, 2, have been married for 3 years.

‘There is not one ounce of truth to it,’ Jennifer’s spokesperson tells Us Weekly. ‘100% completely fabricated.’

Ben, 35, met Jennifer, 36, on set of Daredevil in 2003. They announced their engagement after just 9 months.

I remember when I was the only one who wanted to fuck Matt Damon. I’d listen to him telling the same story over and over again about working on Mystic Pizza and how he thought Lili Taylor was going to be American’s newest sweetheart after the film opened. You know, I got him that part in Glory Daze to help him get off my couch for a couple of months. And now, everybody wants a piece of him and he’s more than willing to return their calls. But me? Good ole Big Ben, the Larry Bird to his Kevin McHale? That guy, that friend can’t even get a simple hello, but he gives Mark Wahlberg floor seats for the Celtics game. Wahlberg gets to work with Scorsese and gets the Oscar nomination. And here I am, just hanging out, fucking Jimmy Kimmel. Hmmm, I wonder what Jennifer Lopez is up to tonight?

Hollywood star Jennifer Garner was almost sent into a panic during a shopping trip last Thursday, when she accidentally locked her 2-year-old daughter in the car with her keys.
The talented star had just arrived at the Brentwood Country Mart in California when she climbed out of her Lexus without her car keys and closed the door behind her, forgetting the car doors had been set to auto-lock. But Garner was able to breathe a sigh of relief when she was able to instruct Violet, her daughter with husband Ben Affleck, how to open the doors, freeing herself from the vehicle within minutes.The child emerged triumphant, clutching the car keys as she smiled at a delighted Garner, before mother and daughter continued with their girls’ day out.

The Garner-Affleck family have been enjoying lots of private time lately - so it was nice to see Jen in the May issue of Self magazine, where she talks about her love of summer, working out, sunscreen and of course Violet.

On her favorite season:“What’s not to love about summer? I love all the fruit that’s available. I love the farmers’ market. I love the fact that everybody relaxes a little more. You can feel it in their face and demeanor. People leave work a little easier.”

On how she prepares for a swimsuit: “I try to decrease the overall size of my butt!”

On everyone always thinking she’s pregnant: “Yes, everyone continues to think that I’m two months pregnant, but at this point, it’s just laziness! I think your body shifts. If I gained weight before, it didn’t go to my stomach. Now it’ll go to my stomach and lower half. Where I used to be flat, now - when I wear a T-shirt - you see a little bit of a normal person.”

Actor Casey Affleck and his wife Summer Phoenix debut their 4-month old baby boy (still waiting to hear his name) as the family,(4 year-old Indiana is not pictured) check in for a flight along with their nanny at LAX. The baby and Indiana have some famous uncles - actors Joaquin Phoenix and Ben Affleck, and of course we can’t forget cousin Violet, 2.

Ben Affleck displayed a talented range of emotions today while shooting a scene for his upcoming political thriller State of Play outside Washington D.C.’s Environmental Protection Agency. The 39-year-old has been shuttling back and forth between his L.A.-based wife Jennifer Garner and daughter Violet to the D.C. shoots where he stars as a U.S. Congressman caught up in scandal when his mistress is found dead under suspicious circumstances.

The flick had been delayed for months after its leading stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton bowed out at the last minute. They were eventually replaced by Russell Crowe and Ben, respectively.

The video — shot last week at L.A.’s Roosevelt hotel and in an L.A. recording studio — became a YouTube sensation after it debuted following the
Oscars early Monday morning.
Kimmel executive producer Jill Leiderman tells Us the idea came from Kimmel and his director and was “completely fueled by revenge” after Kimmel’s girlfriend Sarah Silverman released the video “I’m F–king Matt Damon” last month.
“Sarah and Matt’s piece aired on a Thursday, and that Friday, Jimmy came into the office and said, ‘We have to get to Ben Affleck, like, right away!’” Leiderman tells Us. “So I reached out to his representation, and by Sunday, Ben was locked.”
Was Kimmel nervous about smooching Affleck?
“I don’t think there was any fear there,” Leiderman says. “I think there’s nothing but love there.”
The clip featured A-listers like Cameron Diaz making obscene gestures and Harrison Ford blowing Affleck and Kimmel a kiss. “Once Jimmy and Ben were ready to come out to the world, they got the support of their famous friends,” Leiderman says.
As for casting Brad Pitt, who plays a deliveryman, Leiderman tells Us, “We needed to include people who would resonate in Matt’s life, and Brad seemed like the perfect accomplice.”
Rebecca Romijn tells Us she was more than happy to sign on.
“It was so exciting to help celebrate their love for one another,” Romijn tells Us. “They make a beautiful couple.”
Adds Joan Jett, who sings in the video: “If Jimmy and Ben can find lasting happiness together, I’d be glad to sing at their wedding. Good thing Ben’s from Massachusetts.”
Now with their two dueling videos, can Kimmel and Damon ever be friends?
“Jimmy and Matt will reach out to one another,” Leiderman jokes, “but right now, emotions are running raw.”

Affleck’s consent lead to Harrison Ford’s involvement — he was a fan of Silverman and Damon’s video, apparently — which then lead to Brad Pitt’s cameo as the delivery guy who presents Affleck and Kimmel with a cake celebrating their love.
Scott Igoe, head of music booking for the show, said that once Pitt was on board, he reached out to the musicians who had appeared previously on the show and had proven themselves to be good sports. Within 24 hours, he had the Maddens, Gray and Wentz on board — and had really ticked off Ashlee Simpson, who wanted to participate but was unable to because she was on tour, he says.
“Basically, we devised the list: ‘Who has been on the show in the past that we really like?’” Igoe says.
The music for the song was written by Kimmel’s bandleader Cleto Escobedo, with the lyrics devised by Kimmel, Kimmel’s brother, John, and the show’s writing staff. The video was filmed in two days the week before it aired at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and Henson Studios in Hollywood.
“Half the e-mails I’ve gotten the day after have been from publicists so disappointed that their clients weren’t in it,” Igoe says, mentioning Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Paul McCartney.
Whether the song will be released as an official download is up to ABC, Leiderman says, but she promises they’ll make the appropriate inquiries to see if they can get a single put out.
Igoe, meanwhile, has his sight set on a bling-ier outcome. “Hey, if ‘D*ck in a Box’ can win an Emmy, why can’t we?” he asks.

SURE, Sarah Silverman bragged about sleeping with Matt Damon, but where’s the love for Ben Affleck? Last week, Silverman surprised her boyfriend, Jimmy Kimmel, on his show with a music video called “I’m [Bleep]ing Matt Damon,” featuring Silverman and the “Bourne Identity” star singing together about their faux affair. Now Kimmel is striking back with a song called “I’m [bleep]ing Ben Affleck.” Our source told us the video for this song, set to the theme of “We Are the World,” will star Affleck, Robin Williams, Don Cheadle, Harrison Ford, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz.
