The engagement report has not yet been confirmed. A source in fact did reveal “Jessica has never been happier than she is when she’s with Tony. She knows her first marriage didn’t work out, but she has a really good feeling about this one, and wants to make her feels for Tony clear.”

Jessica’s film “Blonde Ambition” failed miserably domestically, earning a paltry $1,771. However, it managed to debut at number one in Ukraine, grossing $253,008 during it’s opening weekend.

“The former Soviet nations have a sweet tooth for straight-up comedies,” Conor Bresnan, editor in chief of Box Office Mojo International, tells People. “When these comedies have big name celebrities like Jessica Simpson’s, that’s all that’s needed to sell the movie. Russian and Ukrainian audiences have an even bigger urge for escapism than Americans. So, films like Blonde Ambition will gross more than No Country for Old Men.”

Maybe Jessica should take a hint and move to Eastern Europe.

Television personality Nick Lachey is giving his blessing to his ex-wife’s relationship, insisting he hopes Jessica Simpson is very happy with her quarterback Tony Romo. Simpson, who divorced Lachey in 2006, had previously dated singer John Mayer, but started romancing Dallas Cowboys star Romo last year. And now Lachey, 34, has dismissed rumors of a rift between him and his former spouse, wishing her well in her new relationship. He says, “I wish her nothing but happiness. If she’s found that (true love) … good for her.”

NICK Lachey and his girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo, don’t really do anything beyond getting paid to show up at events or frolic at tropical resorts that need free press - so you’d think they’d appreciate their easy-money lifestyles. Wrong! According to a source at JC Penney’s “American Living” launch at Skylight on Hudson Street, “Nick was complaining the whole time he was there. He started whining, ‘When can I get out of here?’ and refusing to take photos. That’s what he was paid to show up for.” A rep for Lachey told us, “Nick stayed and watched the entire Rascal Flatts performance at the event and had a great time.”

Pop singer Jessica Simpson is being accused of “hurting millions of fat people in America” by banning the sale of a very secret fitness DVD.The star recorded the workout tape produced by fitness video company Speedfit ahead of her role as Daisy Duke in the Dukes of Hazzard in 2005. But despite signing a million dollar contract, the 27-year-old changed her mind and banned its release, according to New York gossip column PageSix.com. Speedfit owner Alex Astilean has now launched a lawsuit against her manager dad Joe after failing to secure a $10 million settlement from Simpson last year. Astilean says, “They are hurting millions of fat people in America.” Simpson’s spokesman tells the publication, “It’s a legal matter that’s in the hands of attorneys.”

In 2005, during a lull in her career, Simpson starred in a workout tape produced by Speedfit, a fitness video company. Although she signed a multimillion-dollar contract, she later changed her mind and prevented the video from being released by not giving final approval. “I came to an understanding a little while back that no one is going to remember me in five or seven years anyway so let them talk and say what they want to say,” he tells FoxSports.com. “In seven years, I’m going to be off doing whatever and living normal so it’s like, ‘Work hard. Try to do things right in life and forget about the rest of the junk.’”
