Ashlee Simpson loves her growing bump!

“Today I read on a blog that I went to the doctor and he said I was overweight and I cried and went to Planet Blue (because I was blue) and bought 6 pair of size 0 jeans,” Simpson 23, wrote on her MySpace page. “My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain, have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years, love my maternity jeans… they have stretchy tops it is awesome!”

“Carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life,” Simpson blogged. “My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about. I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. People who talk and judge pregnant women’s weight need to get a life!!!

So what’s the mom-to-be- craving these days?

“Green olives and pickles!” Wentz, 29, has revealed “Green olives on everything!”

He called her cravings an “anytime kind-of-thing. You always have to be ready.”

Ashlee Simpson is fighting back on MySpace against rumors that she is upset about her pregnancy weight gain. Unless it is Tori Spelling in the doctor’s office with cameras taping her pregnancy weight gain for her show, I don’t believe there is anyway to what know any celeb is thinking when they go in to see if they are packing on the pounds. So I am glad she spoke out.

Ashlee Simpson is finally a real woman. I love it. Ashlee showed off her 70’s hairdo and her new big boobs yesterday, giving the paparazzi something to flash bulbs over. Pete Wentz is a lucky guy. Sort of.  Anyways, this is pretty sexy and finally, something that makes her meaningful…I mean, unless you like lip-syncing?

The eye-lined rocker, who’s expecting his first child with wife Ashlee Simpson, told Out magazine: “When I said that I make out with dudes, there was a slight sense of sexual rebellion in that. I probably even made it a bigger deal than it was.” Wentz also said he’s apprehensive about borrowing from gay culture: “If I was gay and I saw people playing with it, being ambiguous, I don’t really know how I would feel. I look back at Elvis [who appropriated black music] and I’m like, ‘Was Elvis a [bleep]?’ ”

Pete Wentz doesn’t want any surprises when his new wife, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, gives birth in October. “I’d like to know the sex of the baby,” he told In Touch at Op’s “Open Road” campaign celebration on June 3. “It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!” The 29-year-old Fall Out Boy bassist also confided that Ashlee’s doing well, despite the recent postponement of her summer tour. “I think any pregnant woman knows it’s a lot of stress on your body, but she’s really healthy and handling it like a champ,” said Pete, who’s clearly thrilled as the newlyweds settle in to their new home. “It’s ours together — that’s the beautiful thing about marriage,” he gushed. Its hard to tell from these photos but it looks like Jessica Simpson has gained a little bit of weight. Don’t get me wrong, she’s probably still too thin but I’m used to seeing her toned and fit so when she gains a little weight its obvious.. and weird. I like her clutch… it’s really cute but I bet it cost a lot of money! The way she is using it to cover her midsection is a sign that perhaps she has gained a few pounds. Pregnant singer Ashlee Simpson’s summer tour is on hold.

“After careful consideration, Ashlee Simpson has decided to postpone her summer tour,” her rep said in a statement. “She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future.”

On Thursday, the 23-year-old confirmed that she’s expecting her first child with husband Pete Wentz, 28. Usmagazine.com first broke the news in April.

The couple hit the opening of the Palms Place Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas with Jessica Simpson (sans on-again, off-again beau Tony Romo) on Saturday night.

At the end of his stint as DJ, Wentz gave a shout-out to his “baby mama.” He also decided the Huey Lewis song “Power of Love” to his father-in-law, who was at the party with wife Tina.

“Yo, yo yo! This goes out to Joe Simpson, my new father-in-law,” he told the crowd. “I feel the power of love for you and everyone else should too.”

Wentz also played his wife’s song “In My Head.”

This week Wentz apologized to MTV for keeping their pregnancy news under wraps.

“We wanted to wait until after the first trimester and get a clean bill of health from our doctors before confirming anything, just like any other couple,” he emailed MTV.com.

“Being a boy I have no idea how to respond to such things and my first instinct was to protect her and the baby,” he added. “I apologize to anyone who felt misinformed but the truth is, the person and growing baby is who I felt most loyal to protect and defend.”

After weeks of speculation, Ashlee Wentz (nee Simpson) and her husband, Pete, confirmed they are indeed expecting a baby. The announcement was made on Pete’s blog, and said, “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm we are expecting our first child …”

While some think the couple was just waiting until, say, they were married, some sources close to the couple say that the baby was blogged about because none of the weeklies wanted to run an exclusive (i.e., pay for photos) for a big story about the couple’s bundle-of-joy-to-be. “Their wedding story didn’t do well on newsstands, so everyone passed on the baby story. And of course, it wasn’t like it was news (that they were expecting) anyway,” said a source close to the couple.

In unrelated Wentz news, Pete and Ashlee are shopping around a reality show, according to a source who spoke to OK! magazine. While rumors of a reality show have been reported previously, this source shed some light on the show itself, namely that that Ashlee channels her inner Jessica Simpson and dumbs herself down, at least in the footage that’s been presented to television outlets.

“One scene is at a dinner and everyone is toasting to business ventures and important things like that,” the source told the magazine. “But when it came to Ashlee, she toasted ‘to jewelry,’ and Pete just shook his head.”

Once again Pete and Ashlee Wentz broke news that we all suspected on Friends and Enemies. Who here thinks that it was until after the first trimester that were waiting for until they made the announcement, but until after they were married.

It’s nice to see a celebrity who got married and is actually going to change their name! I think that when people get married that the woman should take the man’s name. If she wants hers too then add a hyphen in there but come on! I really didn’t expect her to take his name, either. I sort of can’t even believe they are actually married. I wonder if she’s pregnant?

Here’s what Ash said about changing her last name from Simpson to Wentz:

“I think that that’s something that a woman should do when they’re marrying a man,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s a tradition that I think is a great tradition.”

Ashlee will go by Ashlee Wentz personally and professionally she will hyphen it up and go by Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Hey, maybe if Jessica would have hyphened Lachey then it would’ve worked out? Who knows.
