MSNBC’s The Scoop reports that most of Jessica Simpson’s relationships have been put together in order to give her a little positive publicity.

A source said, “When Jess last had a new album coming out, that’s when she was introduced to John. She’s got her first country album coming out, so now she’s been conveniently introduced to Owen, who is a fellow Texan. Better yet, the public is sympathetic to him.”

Mouth off Owen, Jessica. He’s busy dating Le Call Girl.  

Jessica should just date Willie Nelson if she wants to get in with the country people. I mean she has a daddy complex.

Owen Wilson and Jessica Simpson are still going around.

Owen and Jessica said earlier that they are just friends and there is nothing between them, and if that’s true then why is it that they seem to spend loads of time with each other.

Not just this, but the pair is also spotted in many hot spots together and they seem to enjoy each other’s company.

The couple was spotted in Santa Monica and New York last week.

An insider said that ‘they are definitely attracted to each other ‘Simpson didn’t think dating would be so hard’ and she wanted to take things slowly’.

These two seem to be very much interested in each other.

The girls of Hollywood were out last night for the opening of the new Juicy Couture store on Beverly Hill’s famous Rodeo Drive.

For those of you still unfamiliar with the brand, Juicy Couture is a contemporary line of casual apparel based in Pacoima, California, owned by the always-popular Liz Claiborne fashion company.

Forget what Pete said, or what Ashlee said but looks like both Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are extremely happy with each other.

The other day when they were together at Pete’s Concert with his band Fall Out Boys’ the coupled look extremely cootie cootie!

One wonders why there is too much talk about each of them not being together even after all this!

Ashlee Simpson is planning to do an album together with Pete Wentz. And people dont forget what happened with her sister Jessica Simpson and her ex Nick who got together with a music album.But putting it all behind looks like Ashlee had already recorded a song with Pete. Yep, thought it wasn’t planned in the beginning, Ashlee asked, Pete said yes and it happened just then.

If one remembers “I am me”, looks like this one will be named “We are us”. What say? But one has to wait and see if Pete works better here…or is he better of with his own band Fall Out Boys!

Once upon a time Simpson appeared as a musical guest on Episode 568 of Saturday Night Live (October 23–24, 2004), and as is customary for the show’s format, she was scheduled to perform two songs. Her first song, “Pieces of Me”, was performed without problems. However, when she began her second song, “Autobiography”, the vocals for the song “Pieces of Me” were heard again—before she had raised the microphone to her mouth. Simpson began to dance and then left the stage, while the band (not a recording) continued playing. During the closing of the show Simpson appeared with the guest host Jude Law stating that her band performed the wrong song in the opening on the performance and commenting that she thought she’d “do a hoedown” following the musical number. MSNBC gossip columnist Jeannette Walls compared the impact of the incident to the 1990 Milli Vanilli incident in which their guide track skipped during a live MTV performance, revealing that they were lip-synching.

On October 25, Simpson called in to the music video show Total Request Live and explained that due to complications arising from a “severe” variation of acid reflux (which had previously been seen in The Ashlee Simpson Show) she had completely lost her voice and her doctor had advised her not to sing. She claimed that because of the acid reflux, her father required her to use a guide track for the performance. She said of the incident, “I made a complete fool of myself.” According to Simpson, the drummer hit the wrong button, which caused the wrong track to be played. During the October 25 Radio Music Awards broadcast, Simpson pretended, as a joke, to make the same mistake as she did in the SNL incident, but then began to perform “Autobiography” without using a pre-recorded vocal track as she had done during the prior SNL performance. On October 31, the CBS news program 60 Minutes aired footage from Simpson’s rehearsals before the SNL performance in which Simpson is shown to be disturbed by voice trouble.

Its a world famous fact that Jessica Simpson is JEALOUS of sister Ashlee’s success.

A source close to her Jessica revealed: “Jessica finds it tough being compared with Ashlee, who’s becoming a big star and is threatening to overtake Jessica as the more successful sister.

“Jessica was always seen as the bigger star, but now Ashlee is taking over. There’s certainly a sibling rivalry between them.”

Ashlee seems to be the next big thing at the LA party circuit with the paparazzi following her everywhere ever since she started dating Pete Wentz. While Jessica seems to be hardly bothered about.

When comedian Bill Maher heard her singing… he was ’shocked’ to be frank… who wouldn’t be? Actually… people are so used to seeing her lip-syncing that when she actually sang at Jay Leno’s he couldn’t believe it. Of course Maher has put the experience in words in his own style when he said,

“I was watching Ashlee Simpson on Jay’s show last night… She was really singing, and I was saying, ‘Bring back the lip sync.’ …And it struck me that Ashlee Simpson is a lot like George Bush-because she wouldn’t even really be in the big leagues if it wasn’t for family connections, and she’s in way over her head. And she doesn’t know what to do. And she blamed her band.”
