Carrie Ann Inaba’s boyfriend, Jesse Sloan, surprised her with a proposal on Live with Regis and Kelly, which Inaba was co-hosting today. (Here is the video, SO CUTE!: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20477744,00.html)
Earlier this month, Inaba shot down rumors that she was engaged, after she opened up to Prevention magazine, noting that she and Sloan were “planning a summer wedding on the beach… In her interview, Inaba also shared why she believes Sloan is different than the past ones.
Are you and Jesse (age 39, an accountant) getting married?
“Yes…[Smiles] We’re planning a summer wedding on the beach. There’s something about looking into the vast blue ocean that always puts life into perspective. The fresh air and negative ions recharge the system. We want everyone to jump in the water with us after our vows…so it will have to be someplace warm and tropical.”
On why he’s different than the past ones…
“I’m a cougar, self-proclaimed [laughs]. I’ve always done out with much younger guys. But I rushed into relationships before really getting to know the person. What would come up as warning sign within the first two weeks of dating would usually be the exact reason the relationship would end! Those men weren’t good for long-term relationships. With Jesse, I didn’t have those thoughts or fears.”
Looks like her dream wedding will come true!
