The newly single “Gossip Girl” star was spotted flirting with DiCaprio at “Hurt Locker” star Jeremy Renner’s birthday at his house in The Hills on Saturday night.

A spy says, “They were on the balcony together for an hour. They were standing close in a corner and looked like there was a lot of flirting. Later, they were together again by the bar.”

There was no sign of DiCaprio’s model girlfriend, Bar Refaeli, who was believed to be working. But a pal told us he and Lively “are just friends and Leo left with Kevin Connolly.”

Others who joined the dancing and mingled in the house and on the terrace included Colin Farrell, Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson and Christina Aguilera, who was spotted looking a little wobbly and was helped out by boyfriend Matt Rutler. DiCaprio’s rep declined to comment.

Reps for Lively and Aguilera didn’t get back to the media.

Crazy comic Andy Dick was thrown out of the AVN Awards — the Oscars of the adult video industry — Saturday night after harassing porn star Tera Patrick and drag queen Chi Chi LaRue.

An hour before the ceremony at the Palms Casino Resort in Vegas, Patrick and LaRue were prepping in a dressing room backstage, when an apparently intoxicated Dick suddenly appeared.

A witness reports, “You couldn’t understand what he was saying, but you could hear Chi Chi saying, ‘Leave me alone!’ Tera grabbed Chi Chi and went into another dressing room, but boom, there he was again. This happened three or four more times. He had a cup of beer, which kept spilling. Finally, this huge security guy came over, snatched the beer out of his hand, and said, ‘That’s it, we’re going!’ ”

A show rep, who saw security men restrain Dick against the wall said, “I questioned one of the guards, and he said Andy was being disorderly and pushing people.” A rep for Dick had no comment.

Paula Abdul makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” airing Tuesday, January 11th. The “Live To Dance” judge talks about her relationship with Simon Cowell and how she felt watching Ellen on “American Idol.”

On Paula’s relationship with Simon Cowell
Ellen: The two of you have a very, would you say tumultuous relationship? It’s kind of love/hate.
Paula: Very tumultuous. Definitely love/hate and actually when we’re on the hating side, I will cross the street and walk on the other side. I avoid him like the plague.
Ellen: But you had to sit next to him all that time so you can’t cross the street.
Paula: You now what, I gave him the cold shoulder at times and he’d be laughing hysterically and I’d be so mad at him. And the more I got mad at him, the more I was feeding into his {poke, poke}. He’s an acquired taste. He’s like fungus in the sense that he sticks around for a long time and then finally you surrender to it.
Ellen: You surrendered to fungus?
Paula: Pause. Yeah.
Ellen: I know what you’re saying though because I ended up really liking him though. I didn’t know what to expect.

On watching Ellen on AMERICAN IDOL…
Ellen: You left the show and then they asked me to…And I kept trying to explain to people, “I didn’t take her job. She was gone.” Was it weird for you to watch the show and see me there? Did you watch?
Paula: I can watch the show objectively and I can watch the show as a fan as I normally do. I can watch the show and say, “Wow.” I thought you did a good job. I thought you handled yourself with poise and elegance. You handled yourself the right way that is authentic to who you are.
Ellen: It was hard for me. I’m sure you felt the same. It’s really hard to tell somebody, no matter what you really feel inside, in front of America, “That’s not good.”

According to gossip website TMZ, the ‘Two and a Half Men’ star and the women – who are in Las Vegas for a porn convention – went on an “epic bender” at The Palms Hotel and Casino, before heading back to his hotel room.

One of the women involved is Bree Olsen and sources claim Charlie is infatuated with her and spent some quality time with her in her hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana, before they flew out to Nevada.

A source said: “Charlie is smitten and he decided he wanted to spend some quality time with Olson.”

The drinking session comes after Charlie fired his sober coach, who had been hired after he trashed a New York hotel room and was found naked by police.

A source said: “The sober coach never went back to work for Charlie. He has not heard from Charlie since he told him not to start New Year’s Day.”

The hotel room incident capped off a bad year for the 45-year-old actor.

Following a fight with his estranged wife Brooke Mueller – mother of his 21-month-old twin sons, Bob and Max – on Christmas Day 2009, he paid a trip to rehab and received a 30-day suspended prison sentence for misdemeanor assault.

During his New York trip to October, Charlie was accused of causing $7,000 worth of damage to his hotel suite after tossing furniture around because of the monetary demands of the escort.

Before the alleged incident, the actor – who was enjoying a mini-break with his ex-wife Denise Richards and their daughters Sam, six, and five-year-old Lola – was reportedly found by his assistant naked and covered in cocaine in a restaurant toilet.

Fashion mogul-turned-reality TV star Kimora Lee Simmons is planning to add to her brood – she wants another child with actor husband Djimon Hounsou.

Simmons already has three children – two daughters with ex-husband Russell Simmons, and a son with Hounsou – but she’s keen to go for a fourth.

She tells TooFab.com, “We definitely want more, we love kids and I would love to have a little companion for Kenzo… It would be fun for him to have someone to grow up next to.

“The girls (Ming Lee, 11, and Aoki Lee, eight) are two years apart, and they have created such a bond that is so wonderful. That’s how I want my kids to be, so another baby in the bunch definitely would be fabulous.”

Amelia Earhart, the legendary American aviation pioneer who was portrayed by Hollywood actress Hilary Swank in the 2009 movie ‘Amelia’, became the first person to fly solo across the Pacific Ocean, 76 years ago today. Earhart flew 2,408 miles between Honolulu and Oakland, California, in a journey that also marked the first time an aircraft had carried a two-way radio.

The anniversary comes in the wake of a discovery on a deserted island in the South Pacific last month. Earhart went missing and her body was never found after she attempted to become the first woman to fly around the world in 1937 and scientists have found three bone fragments on the island of Nikumaroro, which lies along the course that the aviator was following when she disappeared. A team at the University of Oklahoma are looking to extract Dna from the bone chips which could prove that Earhart died and was possibly eaten by crabs. A number of items were found close to the remains, most notably, some old makeup, glass bottles and shells that had been cut open.

If the bones prove not to be Earhart’s, her death will remain one of the 20th century’s biggest mysteries. The biographical film, starring Swank, also featured Richard Gere, Christopher Eccleston and Ewan MCGregor and ended with Earhart experiencing trouble with her radio signal but continuing to fly on.
