There’s trouble in paradise for Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez – so A-Rod headed to Miami to create his own weekend bliss.
The slugger had quite a getaway without Hudson: Spies tell us he was spotted with the same leggy blond, first at an Armani Exchange “Cool Shades of Style” dinner on Saturday at the Delano Hotel, and later at Miami hot spot LIV.
“She and Alex were introduced at the dinner, but it looked like they got pretty friendly pretty fast,” a partygoer dished, saying they were talking and laughing a lot, with the Yankee acting very much a single man.
“They definitely left the dinner separately, but showed up at LIV together a few hours later,” the spy says.
They weren’t exactly alone. The Bronx Bomber’s crew included his ex Madonna’s good friend Ingrid Casares, who also chatted up Alex’s lady-of-the-moment throughout the evening.

“Ingrid and the blond were definitely friends,” the snitch dished, saying Casares and Rodriguez seemed like old pals.
Meanwhile, Kate was in New York City promoting her upcoming flick, “Nine,” (we saw her brunching at Prime Meats in Brooklyn with pals on Saturday, and later in the day leaving her SoHo apartment with son Ryder).
Most recently, Hudson dodged questions about their relationship during a “Late Show” visit, bashfully admitting to David Letterman: “Yeah, he’s a friend of mine. Nice guy.”
A source close to the couple admits that while, yes, Alex is a pretty nice guy, no one is surprised by the news.
“Alex has a wandering eye, and Kate is a hopeless romantic. It’s not exactly the perfect match,” the snitch dished.
While several outlets have reported the pair have broken up, our source says it’s too early to say that they’re Splitsville.
“This isn’t the first time Alex has acted single while he’s out, and it certainly won’t be the last,” the insider says. “I wouldn’t be surprised if Kate forgave him.”

Halle Berry knows the pain of residents of the Los Angeles battered-women’s shelter where she’s a volunteer. “I saw my mother battered, and could not do anything to stop it,” she told the Sunday Times of London.
“My father was tyrannical, lashing out at her for no reason. I felt the effects that had on our family.” Berry, 43, has been a low-key night-shift volunteer at the Jenesse Center for years, and hopes speaking up will help Jenesse’s six shelters overcome financial stresses brought on by the slack economy.
A former shelter resident said she had no idea the woman she called Halle Baby and who told silly jokes to her children was a movie star.

Beyonce took the interactive vibe of “Fuerza Bruta: Look Up” to heart Saturday night, trying to learn the choreography during the high-energy dance spectacle’s “murga” section, where dancers stomp on large platforms.
And when a large piece of silver material was pulled over the heads of the audience, the singer gleefully ran under it, mingling with the performers and fellow show-goers.
Our spies said Beyoncé’s more sedate hubby, Jay-Z, smiled throughout the show but didn’t try to get in on the act.

Author Stephen King and his wife are donating money so 150 soldiers from the Maine Army National Guard can come home for the holidays.
King and his wife, Tabitha, who live in Bangor, are paying $13,000 toward the cost of two bus trips so that members of the 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Unit can travel from Camp Atterbury in Indiana to Maine for Christmas. The soldiers left Maine last week for training at Camp Atterbury. They are scheduled to depart for Afghanistan in January.
Julie Eugley, one of King’s personal assistants, told the Bangor Daily News that the Kings were approached about giving $13,000.
But Stephen King thought the number 13 was a bit unlucky, so the couple pitched in $12,999 instead. Eugley chipped in $1 to make for an even $13,000.

You’re about to see a lot more of “Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel. She stripped naked for a 58-foot-tall billboard to be unveiled today at Broadway and 53rd Street as part of a campaign for anti-fur zealots PETA.
The three-months-pregnant reality star told us, “It’s so tasteful and beautifully done. I am especially pleased because it doesn’t look like there’s been any airbrushing, and I was already pregnant when I shot it. I am excited to know that I’ll be there on a billboard while everybody is doing their Christmas shopping and celebrating the new year.”
The giant, butt-baring Bethenny billboard might shock guests leaving David Letterman’s show and “Shrek: The Musical” nearby. She added, “I used to wear fur, but I once saw a PETA protester holding a skinned animal, and now it makes me sick that people wear fur to show off their money and status.”
Visit the official PETA website today for the unveil:

The shamed golfer is terrified that his wife is going to divorce him over his sexcapades and make his life miserable by moving to Sweden with their two young kids, a source close to Woods’ camp said yesterday.
“He’s only just coping — he’s on the edge,” the well-placed source said. “He sees everything coming crashing down around him. His career, his family.”
Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, is refusing to speak to him, the source said — and the two are now definitely living apart.
The only thing that she said to her hubby was that he had better get into therapy — or else, the source said.
And, as if his current family woes weren’t already enough, the superstar athlete also is afraid that at least two more mistresses will surface, the source said.
As if on cue, a possible 14th Tiger lover was identified hours later as cougar Theresa Rogers, a busty, blond, 48-year-old mom and fitness nut from Wellington, Fla.
Rogers is Woods’ oldest and longest-lasting lover, having carried on steamy liaisons with him for more than five years all around the country, before and during his marriage to Nordegren, RadarOnline.com reported.
Rogers did not return a phone call seeking comment.
Meanwhile, Nordegren, 29, has removed her gold and diamond engagement and wedding rings. (photo below)

She made it clear to paparazzi over the weekend that she had ditched the jewelry as she happily posed for photos while filling up her car at a Florida gas station.
Her two children with Woods — 2-year-old daughter Sam and 10-month-old son Charlie — were in the car at the time, along with Nordegren’s mother, who flew to the United States from Sweden to be at her daughter’s side after the Thanksgiving-weekend debacle between Woods and his wife.
Woods, 33, hasn’t been living with Elin and the kids for at least several days, instead taking refuge in a business pal’s home out of state, sources said.
The billionaire golfer is mulling a move, even temporarily, to celeb-friendly France, à la Brangelina, where he could get the privacy he craves amid the maelstrom, the gossip Web site PopEater reported yesterday.
Some of his advisers have already talked to the same real-estate agent who helped Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie find their $70 million chateau there, according to the Web site.
Woods — who just lost a roughly $15 million annual endorsement deal with business-consulting giant Accenture — flew back to Florida on Friday to talk to officials with the state’s Department of Child Protective Services, sources said.
The department had received a complaint of possible domestic violence at Woods’ and Nordegren’s home in Windermere, Fla., based on the Thanksgiving-night dustup — during which she allegedly chased him with a golf club after learning of his affairs, RadarOnline reported.

There’s an open investigation into possible domestic violence occurring in front of the kids and involving “a weapon,” presumably the golf club, Radar said.
In Woods’ most recent interview — which occurred in November, before the sex scandal broke — he told Sky TV that his family was “the best thing that ever happened.”
When the interviewer asked the athlete, “Family first, then golf second — always been like that?” Woods replied, “Always.”
Nordegren is apparently finding solace in her family and friends, who have convinced her to seek advice from Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, London’s Sun newspaper reported today.
Beckham’s soccer-star hubby, David, was embroiled in a sex scandal several years ago involving allegations he’d had an affair with assistant Rebecca Loos.
Clouds could be gathering on another front for Woods as well.
Canadian Dr. Tony Galea — who used a pioneering “blood-spinning” technique to help the golf ace regain his fitness after knee surgery last year — now faces charges of illegally importing and selling drugs. Galea denies it, according to British media reports.
But his lawyer admits one treatment involves actovegin, a controversial drug banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency if used intravenously. There’s no suggestion Tiger got the drug.

The developments came as new details surfaced about several of Woods’ other lovers.
Rachel Uchitel — the reputed mistress whom Nordegren allegedly confronted over the phone on Thanksgiving — will receive $1 million annually from Tiger over the next five years to keep her mouth shut about their shenanigans, The Daily Beast said.
She has loving voicemails and texts from Woods that could do the most damage to him with Nordegren, the Web site said.
“Some of them contain expressions of real affection from Woods — perhaps even professing love to her or mentioning that he was considering leaving his wife,” the site said.
But money goes only so far.
Uchitel, who has been in hiding near her mother’s home in Palm Beach, Fla., is now dealing with death threats she has received on her cellphone since the scandal broke, TMZ.com reported.
Her lawyer, Gloria Allred, did not return requests for comment yesterday. Allred is now also representing Rogers.
TMZ said another woman was also paid off years before Tiger married Elin. His team resolved messy situations with women that “could reflect negatively on his squeaky-clean image,” the report said.
And another woman who says she had a fling with Woods, Jamie Jungers, apparently is faring better than the golfer when it comes to endorsements.
While luxury watchmaker Tag Heuer yesterday said it was “assessing its options” with Woods and had already pulled its ads in Australia that featured him, newbie auction Web site Bid Here announced that it had hired Jungers as its celebrity endorser.
The Las Vegas cocktail waitress was already plotting how to spend her newfound wealth yesterday, checking out a $3,000-a-month, one-bedroom, luxury pad at 1 Irving Place.
She told the Web site The Real Deal she wants to move to the city to pursue a modeling career.
And a source said Jungers hopes to pose for Playboy. She has been griping she’s financially strapped, despite the new endorsement deal and boasting that business at her Vegas blackjack table is better than ever.
