The fembot’s denim line, dVb by Victoria Beckham, was just dropped by Saks Fifth Avenue, according to fashion insiders.
Earlier this year, Beckham was dropped by Henri Bendel and Kitson because of poor sales of her denim line. Now our source says Saks, which first carried her jeans, felt burned by the wife of soccer stud David Beckham when she sold her upscale designer line exclusively to Bergdorf Goodman.
Though the stores may still have some pairs from last season, our source says, “Saks dropped Victoria Beckham’s line” and will not reorder more. “They were offended when she sold her dress line to Bergdorf’s and not to Saks, even though Saks launched her denim line in their New York store.
“Bergdorf never carried her jeans, but they got her designer line anyway,” continued our tipster. But canceling Posh’s denim line should not have a big impact on Saks - “Nobody wanted to buy $300 jeans from someone who is not a trained designer,” our source snarked.
Beckham’s dress collection is expected to sell better than her denim, according to the source.
Although she continually denies it, the buzz in fashion circles is that popular London-based designer Roland Mouret advises Beckham and helps design dresses for her collection.
“Everyone loves Roland Mouret designs, and hers look just like his,” said our source.
A rep for Beckham told us, “At this time there is no Victoria Beckham product stocked at Saks, but we continue to work closely with several leading stores and many independent US fashion retailers.”
The spokeswoman added, “Roland Mouret has no design input in the Victoria Beckham dress collection. Aside from being a friend, his only professional help was introducing Victoria to a seamstress and a London design space when she began the collection.”

Pamela Anderson is way too old and her body is so not the same as it was during her Baywatch days to walk the runway in a little gold bathing suit. Positive note…at least it wasn’t a bikini!

There are many things Dita Von Teese is famous for: her burlesque dancing, former marriage to Marilyn Manson and of course, that waif-like waist line.
“It’s all corsets, Pilates and ballet classes. I train hard,” Teese told Tarts on Tuesday night at the very intimate book launch party for her pal Amanda Eliasch’s “Cloak & Dagger Butterfly.”
But while the Michigan-born babe oozes sex appeal and has no problem stripping for strangers, it seems she still struggles with body image issues.
“I’m not confident at all. I have moments of weakness like most women where I don’t feel I’m at my best. That’s how I started doing what I do,” Teese explained. “I felt very ordinary and not very glamorous so I decided one day that I was going to have to just make my own dream world.”
But when the fetish femme fatale isn’t flashing her finest assets, how does she make herself feel sexy and strong?
“I do things that make me feel confident, like doing my hair, putting my red lipstick on, having my nails done and just pampering myself so I’m ready to face the world,” Dita added. “I have this theory that the more you let your guard down and get lazy with your looks you will run into your ex-boyfriend or his new girlfriend. The key is taking a moment for yourself.”
Teese lived up to her typically teasing performance with two seductive strip-teases at the sultry soiree. Centered around a sparkling gold tub, the burlesque beauty sent sparks through the air as she slowly stripped down to a barely-there diamond-studded g-string with tiny stick-on studs up top.
Without so much as a flinch, Teese slipped into the bubbles and hosed herself (and the few people close by) down …

For her second showdown, or shall we say shower down, Dita dazzled and danced around a statuesque martini glass and fanned her fans with peacock feathers before splashing seductively inside the liquid-filled glass.
Teese was the perfect fit to perform in honor of the flamboyant new book, which hosts a collection of provocative photographs and e-mails written on Eliasch’s BlackBerry to or about her illicit lovers during her open marriage to sporting goods tycoon Johan Eliasch. (They divorced in 2007 and Amanda reportedly received one of the largest financial settlements to date.)
Guests (including Kristin Cavallari) dined on dark chocolate and sipped champagne amid Eliasch’s private Parisian-inspired Beverly Hills residence, complete with splashes of eccentricity, good luck charms, tarot cards and signature skulls.
Cavallari certainly seems to have grown-up from her “Laguna Beach” days, and told Tarts that she’s busy going into pilot season and focusing on a “real career.”
“I’m definitely enjoying it, it’s tough but much more interesting than reality television,” she said. “They keep asking me to go on ‘The Hills’ and I’m like, no thanks.” Ouch.

We’re guessing Claire Danes wasn’t a fan of “Beverly Hills 90210.”
Backstage at Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week, the “Evening” star took a few jabs at Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling, both of whom appeared in the Red Dress fashion show. Says a spy: “Claire was making fun of how they walked, saying it was a little goofy.”
Danes also talked about her fiance, actor Hugh Dancy, and showed off her engagement ring. Says the witness: “Her rock is huge!”

Designing for kids? Psh! That’s child’s play.
Charlie Sheen - yes, that Charlie Sheen - is launching a line of retro casual shirts inspired by 1950s rockabilly culture.
The bad boy actor’s DaVinci Collection by Charlie Sheen comes three years after the launch of his Sheen Kidz couture sportswear line for children. The line went out of business “a while ago,” a former rep for the line tells the Daily News.
The “Two and a Half Men” star is hoping for better success with his new line, which focuses on short-sleeved, button-up shirts. Sheen says he plans to expand the collection beyond shirts in the future.
Agoya shell buttons, retro patterns and contrasting color combos make up the look of the tees.
Want one? It’ll set you back anywhere from $59 to $79.
Sheen showed off his collection at the MAGIC tradeshow in Las Vegas Tuesday.
“I love the look and feel of the DaVinci pieces,” he said in a statement. “The retro designs exude a sense of cool, smooth, yet effortless style.”
Sheen’s duds are set to go on sale in June at GlobalRebels.com. The actor-turned-designer also hopes to eventually sell his wares in major department stores.

The Best Actress nominee for “The Reader,” who spends a good deal of time in the Holocaust movie naked and in bed with a teenager, tells next week’s Time magazine: “I think I won’t [get naked in a movie] again. I can’t keep getting away with it, and I don’t want to become ‘that actress who always gets her kit off.’ ” Winslet has previously appeared nude in 10 films, including “Titanic,” “Hamlet” and “Little Children.”
