Sources say the “Sicko” director will get $20 million upfront for his sequel to “Fahrenheit 9/11″ from backers Paramount Vantage and Overture Films even though the documentary will cost him only about $7 million to make, meaning he’ll pocket roughly $13 million even if it bombs. “Fahrenheit” - which floated various conspiracy theories as to why the World Trade Center was attacked and why the US invaded Iraq - grossed $219 million worldwide, the highest ever for a documentary. But “Sicko,” a paean to socialized health care, banked an anemic $36 million.
