So sad, Michelle Williams arrived in Brooklyn tonight, one day after her ex Heath Ledger was found dead in his apartment. In Michelle’s arms was their 2-year old daughter Matilda - who is smiling in the picture, that makes it even more heartbreaking, it just shows how young and innocent she is.

Michelle was shooting a movie, Mammoth, in Sweden, and flew back to NY as soon as she heard the tragic news.

The couple met while working on Brokeback Mountain and split this past September after three years together.
