Amy Winehouse was seen sobbing outside her London home in just a bra and jeans
in the early hours of Sunday (02.12.07).

The troubled singer - who is
reportedly “distraught” that husband Blake Fielder-Civil is still awaiting trial
in London’s Pentonville Prison on charges of assault and perverting the course
of justice - left her north London house in the bizarre outfit after hearing a
‘disturbance’ outside.

A friend told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper:
“She was sound asleep when she got up to check it out. She had spent the evening
with a friend and thought he had come back because he had forgotten
something.

“After being in a really deep sleep she had no idea what time
it was - she just went outside to see what was going on. She didn’t think it was
necessary to get dressed properly as she was only going outside for a
minute.”

Her spokeswoman said: “Amy was investigating a noise outside -
which is why she wasn’t wearing any shoes, and was just in a bra and jeans with
no make-up. Amy hadn’t been partying - she’d have been wearing make-up if she
had been.

“She is an outpatient under the daily care of a physician. She
is trying to get better, and is doing really well. ”

Amy, 24, was forced
to cancel her British tour last week after doctors ordered her to rest, and
recover from her ongoing battles with drink and drug
addiction.

Meanwhile, Amy’s friend Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty -
who recently revealed he speaks to the ‘Back to Black’ singer every day -
dedicated his song ‘Albion’ to her during his band’s performance in Scotland
last night (02.12.07).

Pete said: “She is a really nice girl and this
song is for her. Keep your chin up, Amy.”
