Six-months-pregnant Jennifer Lopez started preparing for her bundle of joy (or possibly two) with Marc Anthony more than two years ago, PageSix.com has learned. The sexy star oversaw the construction of a nursery in her hubby Marc’s $3.7 million Glen Head, New York, home in September 2005, shortly after the couple exchanged vows, according to a visitor who toured the suburban property.

“A frilly white bassinet, a wooden crib and a fancy, pastel-colored mobile were in the process of being set up in a light-blue room that had its own bathroom and a private hallway leading to the nanny’s quarters,” says the insider. “Plush baby dolls and soft toy animals were everywhere.” The room, located on the northernmost side of the estate’s second floor, was filled with 10 unopened boxes of newborn goodies, and another five enormous crates clogged the hallway leading to J. Lo and Marc’s master bedroom on the opposite side of the house — far enough away to ensure the dancing diva’s beauty sleep when needed!

Jennifer might have even more work cut out for her, considering she only prepared for one baby. If reports are to be believed, the luscious Latina is expecting twins. But obviously she’s not afraid of a challenge: Before she made over the mansion, it was decorated in a hunting theme, complete with plaid wallpaper and wooden mallards. J. Lo’s reinterpretation was featured in the fall/winter 2006 issue of Vogue Living.
