Nicole Ritchie and Joel Madden arrive in court appearance

Nicole Ritchie, daughter of grammy award winning singer, Lionel Ritchie, dodged another bullet today in court and was sentenced to a paltry 4 days in prison for her 2nd DUI arrest earlier this year.   Ritchie arrive to the Glendale courthouse just around 8:00am with her baby’s daddy, Joel Madden on her arm.  Ritchie’s parents did not accompany her but celebrity manager Benny Medina arrived on the scene only moments before Nicole and Joel arrived.  Benny Medina indicated he was only ther for support.  No doubt probably a favor to her famous dad, Lionel Ritchie. 

The paparazzi crush was nowhere near what it had been for Paris Hilton’s turn in court. Nicole has been laying very low through all of this so the minimal paparazzi thing was probably good for her.  If she continues to lay low, she probably will serve about 30 minutes of time instead of 4 days. Process in. Process out.
